I have been going to this Payless for years but where my usual visit would rate a solid three strars this visit has left me angry. This was the first time I’ve gone in and it not be the older man behind the counter, and it showed. The woman assisting me was discourteous and dissmissive. The last time I was there I returned shoes that my daughter had gotten as a gift but didn’t fit. She wanted to go somewhere else since she didn’t care for any styles she saw in store but since we didn’t have the receipt they said we could only have store credit. I understood so I said fine and we took the store merch card and left. Fast forward a few weeks and I return to purchase a pair of shoes, when we go to pay the woman behind the counter after much heaving and sighing she tells me there is no money on it. I tell her there has to be since I’ve never used it and she informs me that it was never even loaded!?! I ask her how I would have a store merchandise card if it had not been given to me. She says she doesn’t know but tells me to come back another day. There is a huge lack of credibility and integrity happening here and I am appalled.

Since this time was my 2nd visit, I got 15% off my total which saved me $ 20 or so bucks… I picked a few more mocassins that I wear as slippers madeby Airwalk… why not? I need to have them on stock if my current pair get worn down or if I loose one… who knows? I may sleep walk or go on a midnight walk after haveing one too many drinks… Better be safe than sorry!

Granted, I do not go here very often, which actually speaks highly for the quality of shoes that they sell here, but I have always had a very pleasant experience here. VERY good customer service. Tonight, the girl working(Alicia was her name) greeted me the second I walked in and asked if I needed help. While I was looking, she was thanking people for coming bu who didnt purchase everything. Very very positive experience!
