Many people will say that with a chain — when you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all — there won’t be much differences from one to the other and I would agree to that for the most part — subtle differences though can always be found. This place had the oddest parking I’ve ever seen and I may have noticed that more because it was cold and rainy and I was sick and tired — so seeing most parking spots away from the entrance — I ended up getting pretty wet before getting inside to the warm and toasty booth! The server was a bit odd — not overly friendly, but the chef was a very nice guy — who simply lacked the knowledge of presentation. I ordered, bacon, ham, sausage, two eggs over easy and hash-browns extra crispy! The eggs and hash-browns came on one very large platter — bit enough to hold everything, but the bacon, ham and sausage all came on separate little plates — which might sound good, but really — it just made it difficult to get to everything as the table wasn’t that big. The toast came after I was pretty much done eating yet on another plate. IF the order comes to you Mr Chef all at once — try to get it all together and served at once and try using one plate! Cleanliness was ok and the taste was good — toast was a bit on the ok side, but overall I liked everything and would go back!

My husband and I are staying at a hotel near by… we woke up wanting breakfast so we decided the waffle house sounded good… well that was a mistake! We were going to eat in but when we walked in it was pretty packed and we did not get greeted at all… it took the server 20 minutes to acknowledge that we were there waiting for her to come take our order while they were cleaning their kitchen… so we decided to get order our food to go. We both ordered the all star… I normally order my eggs Sunnyside up and i get a extra egg in replace of the meat. However, the woman that took our order said that she could not replace my meat with a egg and that if i wanted a extra egg I had to add an extra egg or change my order to something else. So I took her advice… when i opened my to go box when we got back to our hotel i did not see my extra egg that i had paid extra for… which i dont see it as a big deal bc i didnt eat all the eggs anyway as the yoke was way to runny and i had egg shells in my eggs! I was very upset with this that i have not touched the rest of my food. My husband ordered the all star as well with smothered covered peppered and topped hashbrowns… they did not put the cheese, onions or chilli on it and the hashbrowns were not cooked all the way… he just got jalapeño hashbrowns. I do not think this place is open to interracial couples eating here. as they acted like they didnt want to serve us or give us our food once it was finished. Our food sat in the counter for about 15 minutes while everyone was just standing around. I would not recommend anyone to eat here! This has been my worst waffle house experience!

Ate here and I don’t recommend it our server was very nice but confused. No lettuce for Blt and the cook was on the phone for a few minutes while he was cooking, messed up my hashbrowns and he had to make a new order. Mop and bucket sat in the middle of the floor the whole time we were ther. An elderly gentlemen came in and yelled I need something to eat, when we went out he was sitting on the curb mumbling. Night shift needs to be trained better, food not great

Friendly staff. One staff came in for her shift and started arguing with a young man(staff) who wouldn’t argue back, about cleaning sh** in the bathroom because she wasn’t going to do it. That’s not what I want to hear about as I’m eating my breakfast. Otherwise rating would be higher. I got a waffle and bacon. I couldn’t even finish it all. Huge potions. Overall good.

I haven’t eaten at Waffle House in YEARS and decided to stop in today for breakfast before heading over to the airport. I was in and out in 30 minutes. My waitress was very nice. Price was right. Great value for the amount of food you get!

Normally I avoid Waffle House like the plague, in Az they are awful. But I was in Va and my fiancé swore they were good. OMG I had the biscuits and gravy, very very good and I’m a hard sell on biscuits and gravy, very picky. The only down side is the pool of butter on the eggs, I had to mop it up with a couple of napkins. The staff!!! Funny as hell, we were interacting, cracking on them, they cracked back, it was an overall wonderful experience.

I had to pick up someone flying in from California recently, so I decided to grab lunch at the Waffle House right outside the airport. She had never been to Waffle House(the chain doesn’t exist out west), so we decided to check it out. I had only been to Waffle House one other time with my family when they helped me move in to Richmond back in August 2011. This Waffle House is small, but cozy. It’s about as clean and decorated as you would expect a diner to be. The staff was friendly and we sat at a booth right by the cashier. I had forgotten how inexpensive food is at Waffle House, but it really is a bargain. I love waffles, but I often have to pick between a waffle and a savory entrée; at Waffle House, I can order a meal and then add a pecan waffle on the side for only $ 3.50(which is exactly what I did). I ordered the two pork chops plate, which came with hash browns and toast. I also added a biscuit. The food was good overall, a bit salty at times, but your typical American diner food. I wish my waffle had been a little crisper instead of soft though(I think the texture was crunchier when I ordered a waffle the last time I was here). The menu is quite extensive and there a ton of options(including a notable $ 1 menu), and it’s open 24 hours to boot! In summary, Waffle House isn’t the most amazing restaurant ever, but it’s a nice alternative to Denny’s.

This Waffle House is probably less than a mile east of the other Waffle House that I usually go to. I usually go to that one because whenever I go to this one they screw up the orders. Granted, the other one screws up orders too but not as bad. I say this as a frequent Waffle House diner… but it’s just the facts, you get used to the orders being wrong a lot and love them anyway because they try.

3 stars because the waitress was so very nice. So nice that you go just because she is so nice-you know? The food wasn’t bad, just very average. I had a patty melt. I am used to them being done on rye but this one was done with wheat. I had a side order of potatoes similar to hash browns(this being their version of fries). The prices are very reasonable! Nice, clean sit-down establishment overall.
