I’ve been here a couple times and I love it! Best reason for me is that they have Yuengling black and tan on DRAFT! Hard to find that anywhere. Their fried pickles are nice as well as their pizza and burgers. Haven’t explored other options on the menu yet but definitely worth the trip coming from Fremont.

Super fast service — yummy menu with great specials. Best perch tacos around and the best place to wait for the Jet Express hands down!

Where to start. Did not get greeted at the door, bartender just looked at us. After 10 minutes, another associate finally told us it’s open seating. We asked if we could sit outside, to which, she replied«she won’t steal a table for us», she probably thought that would upset us colored folk. A server on our way outside to check seating, without hesitation, says we can’t seat«them» out here. I’m not 100% sure but I’m going to take a wild guess and say it might have been because we’re colored. That was enough for us to walk out of there, it also helped that the«hostess» decided to walk away after. This place might as well put a sign out indicating who they serve, would’ve made it easier for everyone. Luckily, went down the street to Small City Taphouse where we were treated like people.

The service is absolutely amazing. Sam, Jill and Brandy are the best bartenders around. The owner is involved in the daily business and a great guy. I would recommend Dalys to anyone in the area. Their food is awesome! Take out is fast and delicious.

Stopped in for lunch before heading to a good friend’s wedding. Had a drink in my hand withing a few minutes of sitting down. Ordered the Turkey Ruben. Was brought to the table very quickly, and nice and hot. Good flavor, chips were… okay. One star off for the 15 minutes I sat around making eye contact with wait — staff to get someone to take my lunch order.

My boyfriend and I visited this pub last Monday night. We were staying at the Kalahari where they have many food options but we like to try out local places when we are out of town. My boyfriend was craving wings and by this time it was around 830 and surprisingly alot of places in sandusky close at 8! We drove by this place on our way to Water Street Bar and Grille but when we drove by it looked like a place we may like better so we went there instead. There were about 3 couples sitting outside drinking and when we walked in there were about 6 people at the very large bar they had. There was only one bartender working, she was older with blonde hair. We never got greeted when walking into the door but we sat down anyway at a round table right next to the bar. After 10 minutes of sitting there without a menu or a greeting I got up to grabbed a menu off the other table next to us. A few more girls walked in for drinks and they were served before us! This was after about 20 minutes of waiting. We wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and gave her a few minutes more. She then started conversating with two men that were at the bar(we were in her line of vision). At that point we decided to leave but before I did I went up to the bar and asked if we have to order our drinks and food ourselves at the bar, she and replied back in a very snarky tone«If i have time to serve tables I will serve them.» Being a bartender myself I know that this is not how you treat a paying customer! I also use to bar-tend where I had to juggle a FULL bar and tables. She wasn’t even busy and stood around for most of the time we were waiting, and the fact that we weren’t even acknowledged really upset me. I told her we were leaving then because we wanted to be served at a table and we just waited 30 minutes without her even coming up to us! As we walked out she yelled«OKHUNNYDON’T LETTHEDOORHITYOUONTHEWAYOUT» a bunch of locals seemed to chimed in as well making rude remarks. By the time we left it was 9ish and most of the restuatunts in the area were already closed. We ended up eating at CHEERS and having a great time, I highly recommend that place, the bartender we had named Barry was great too!(managed a whole full bar and tables as well!). I work in the service industry so i understand when a bartender is busy and has the whole place to themselves its obviously going to be a wait, but we waited for 30 minutes at a practically empty bar and were ignored. And for a person to yell at me as I walk out the door because I don’t want to stay because of the poor service is UNACCEPTABLE. I called the manager the next day to tell her about our experience and she at least was very sorry about the whole situation and explained to me it wasn’t the first time shes had a complaint about this certain bartender. She offered us drinks on the house next time we were in town but unfortunately, I don’t think Ill be giving this place a second chance.

We felt lucky to find this place when we were unexpectedly delayed in the area. We liked the selection of Great Lakes brews on tap, and our steak quesadilla was really better than the usual, especially since we were asked how we wanted our steak cooked! The interior is handsome — an old corner bar with big windows and original woodwork. Comfortable, spacious. Our waiter, William, was fun. My only complaint is the music — too loud, and too random(jukebox). It was too hot for the patio the night we were there, unfortunately. But I would like to go back on a cooler evening and enjoy the breeze right by Lake Erie.

Daly’s is hit or miss for me. Seems like it’s always either too dead or too busy. But like many other spots around Sandusky, go with a fun enough group of friends and it really doesn’t matter. I don’t really order food here but they offer a pretty decent beer selection and the service is usually really good. Basically, don’t go for the scheduled entertainment. Plan on bringing your own and you’ll have a good time. Patio is the place to be so if you get a table, don’t give it up. But I think they still close it down early thanks to the tenants across the street making noise complaints.

I will say ever since they got the bathroom plumbing cleaned up this place has went up in my book. I will say the patio in the summertime(VIEWOFLAKEERIE) can rate with any patio in Cleveland or Columbus. The beer selection is very good with Great Lakes Brewery on tap. The staff is very good at serving and the food is decent but not better than across the street. I prefer Dalys in the summer on the patio with a nice breeze off the lake because thats something your not going to find in alot of spots around Lake Erie. I did notice the Tremont people hanging out from time to time with the dogs but they were cool…

Sketchy looking bar with sketchy dudes. I had no interest in any of the food on the menu, so I just got fries. They were gross. The beer selection was decent, especially for being in the middle of nowhere.

eh… in the summer its crowded with crazy college-kids slave driving from Cedar point and annoying locals. But then so is every other bar in Sandusky. I saw an old 80’s band there — Slaughter. It was horrible, but a very interesting night.

I had my first BlowJob here. My first Screaming Orgasm, too. And my first Sex on the Beach. And believe it or not, my first Brain. Dina and I spent many many hours falling off the barstools laughing here, at the best non-gay tavern on the North Coast. One night a cute bartender ran us through the catechism of pottymouth drinks. I can still see that Brain, quivering there in my fist, knowing it was coming back up later.
