Went there for a family members birthday. Usually love the food and atmosphere. Not this time. There was a huge dead fly underneath my club sandwich. Absolutely disgusting. Also the waitress was abdolutely horrible. Not personable. Sarcastic. The whole experience was awful. Never going back.

GREATFOOD&SERVICE I don’t have enough time to write a detailed review today, so suffice it to say that my Fish & Chips Dinner was one of the best such dinners I’ve ever had. The fish was delicious, fresh, and reasonably-priced, my substituted Mash Potatoes(instead of fries«chips») were outstanding, and the service could not have been better. I’m not often down that way, but I’ll always stop by Bobby Byrne’s for a great deal.

There food is pretty good, I always get the lobster Mac and cheese, just can’t believe how much lobster they put in it, trust me and get this, I only gave them 3 stars because we usually make this a regular stop to celebrate a birthday, and as a bonus they advertise a free meal if you come here on ur bday which they’ve honored in the past. But the last two times I’ve told the waitress and they don’t take it off the bill, I’m not a complainer so I just paid it and that’s that. All I can say is our bill is always well over $ 100 when we do a birthday dinner there and we had a birthday last night and we have another tonight and we have chosen not to go there either day.

I was a little disappointed with the overall experience. The food was simply OK. Not bad but not mind blowing. The local regulars were obviously there for lunch break and some were drinking, one with his son in tow. I guess that’s a judgemental statement but I’m used to seeing well established pubs refusing children to sit at bars and serving alcohol to already obvious intoxicated individuals. My son had ordered the kids pizza… It was a larger Oscar Myer munchables set up. Tasted awful and he didn’t eat it. Instead he ate my lunch which was the special. A chicken club. That was ok. For the price I just expected a much better experience.

Flew in from Las Vegas and turned to Unilocal to guide us after a long day of travel. Saw they had some good looking food and most of all Prime Rib Saturday’s. My husband had been craving Prime Rib so we called to see if the kitchen was still open and serving Prime Rib, they did. So we get down there they are down to the last two. He gets his Prime Rib which he said was one of the best he’s had. And I tried the Beef and Reef, which was the best marinated steak tips and baked scallops. The baked scallops were nothing special but we’re still good. Loved that butternut squash was the vegetable of he day. I should mentioned we had the clam chowder to start which was the best we have ever had hand down. Followed the meal with a pineapple upside down cake which was small for the price and share, but it was the perfect ending to a great, surprising meal.

Had a really good meal here! I personally ate the cape cod Reuben and found it to be delicious. Could have used a little something more to make the flavors pop, but overall a great sandwich. My wife had the Mac and cheese. I wasn’t impressed. Just ok. Would recommend this place for a middle of the road meal with some highlights.

Picked Bobby’s at random and was very pleased. Went with my family and ordered a half dozen entries. All were excellent and arrived quickly. Prices were very reasonable. Comfortable atmosphere. Would come back for more.

Simply the worst. Ate here for lunch yesterday and was severely disappointed by the food. The soups(even the soup of the day) tasted like lukewarm Campbell’s. Being in Mass, you expect a decent clam chowder, not a milky, bland, generic bowl of yuck. The tuna salad sandwich my husband ordered had a hair in it. The Brie and Berry Salad was relatively tasteless; a bed of spinach with some Brie and strawberries and overly sweet dressing that ruined the whole thing. The chicken salad sandwich was the only edible part of the meal. Will not be returning and would advise others to stay away!

I hadn’t been in Bobby Byrnes for years and I was not disappointed. Bright, clean, nicely appointed, great wait staff, great assortment of beers and drinks, simple and well rounded menu priced fairly. Go and enjoy!

A mixed bag — perhaps hard to rate fairly, although were I to change my rating, I’d drop a star. Suggested at our motel to try the clam chowder, they delivered. We enjoyed its bit of tartness, which was a nice change from other chowders we’ve had. The chicken sandwich was also quite tasty. The lemon pepper haddock plate was a complete miss, however. The fish itself was just average. The accompanying broccoli was nasty — not properly cooked and with a really strange flavor. Later that evening I was fighting an uncomfortable stomach. Service was so so. I like to add freshly ground black pepper to my chowder, but the waits-person took until I’d given up on the meal to meet my third request for a pepper mill.

Happened to be in Sandwich again and remembered that Cape Cod Rueben at Bobby Byrne’s Pub. Delicious again. We tried the fried calimari also and it was very good. Too bad this is a 45 minute drive for me because I would be here all the time.

Complete let down tonight! Typically great drinks but tonight the female bartender is curt and very inattentive. Poor service

Delicious food, great service, very pricey, but really good! It’s a fun place to eat and be with friends, and there’s also tv’s to watch sports. There’s keno games and the state lottery! Good drinks, good food, basically an all around great place!

Not spectacular. The food quality varies per dish, but is usually average to mediocre. The fried foods tend to come out very greasy and with bland breading, but edible. Wait staff are pleasant and my family has never had any issues with speed of service. Food sometimes out suspiciously quickly, though. Microwaving suspected. Prices not amazing, either, considering portion size and quality. British Beer Company down the road has similar pub style with higher quality food, albeit sometimes more crowded and expensive.

Every other time I’ve been to one of Bobby Byrne’s locations it has been fine, except tonight. I went to the Sandwich location after work with friends and sat at the bar. It wasn’t busy. Two of my friends ordered mudslides, at separate times. The bartender complained to another waitress within earshot of us about having to make two orders of mudslides at separate times. To make matters worse, the bartender actively avoided contact with my friends and never once, in the hour and a half we were there, asked if they wanted anything else. The guys sitting next to us, who knew the bartender, had three rounds of drinks to our one. Very poor customer service.

3.5 stars for lunch. This place doesn’t exactly push the envelope, but still manages to excel at what it does. Went over the weekend for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The waitress was kind of a noodge, but I’ll give her a pass. Let me start by saying the boule of spinach and artichoke dip STOLETHESHOW. I have never eaten something quite like those fried pita chips. They’re not even a ‘chip,’ really, but more like a bit of fried pita dough, if that makes sense. Then imagine dipping that into a delicious, creamy spinach and artichoke dip which has been poured into a delicious crock of toasted boule bread. HOLYCRAP. I had some of their ‘award-winning’ clam chowder. It was fine… didn’t blow my pants off or anything. Got a side salad too(trying to get healthy…) which was great and fresh. I also sampled their General Tso’s Sweet and Spicy chicken. Lots of chicken bites and they were passable… tasted like the sauce came from a packet, but what are you gonna do. It Bobby Byrne’s, not Bobby Huynh’s.
