Great ice cream and atmosphere! Will definitely go back! It’s great they have kid portions. Turtle sundae was exactly what I expected.

I was in the area on business and asked where a good place to have lunch was, and they recommended Brenda’s. I could not have been happier with the recommendation. I don’t eat meat and was resigned to eating a salad, but I was thrilled when they offered me a black bean burger. The black bean burger was delicious. Brenda and Rhonda were extremely friendly and after chatting to them for a short time I found out that they have the same recipe for frozen custard as Olly’s frozen custard in Sycamore. No wonder the frozen custard here is amazing. I will definitely be going back the next time I am in the area.

Chicken teriyaki panini. I was not expecting it to be that good but holy moly. Definitely one of the most tasty sandwiches I’ve had in a long while. I highly recommend picking one up if you’re in the area. I added a couple of pickles to it as well

Excellent local frozen dessert/sandwich spot. And, very family friendly … a family favorite of our friends who live nearby! P. S. I shared some of my root-beer float with an eight year old and we both thought it was«super».

Burgers, hot dogs and fries cooked to perfection. Frozen custard that is better than Culver’s. Excellent service from people who like what they are doing. Cute, clean shop. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

I’ve had frozen custard in many states & thought I had found the best…; until today! This place has smooth, rich, creamy, not too heavy or sweet, more natural tasting custard that I’ve ever tasted. I plan on coming back!

I’m addicted to their fried pickles and cheese curds, but they have really good wraps, paninis and beefs. That’s not even mentioning their amazing custard. They do a flavor of the day that you can find up on their Facebook!

When we have company, we always take them to Brenda’s. It’s so cute with the 50’s theme. We have tried & enjoyed many of her sandwiches but our favorite is the Italian Beef sandwich covered with her cheese specialty. I believe she said she mixes 4 or 5 cheeses together. We also add the sweet bell peppers & hot peppers on the Italian Beefs. Her homemade chips are the best: freshly made and nice & crispy. I like Zero Coke & not many places carry it but she does. Her ice cream & shakes are delicious. I just found out I can go on Facebook & find out the ice cream flavor of the day on her monthly calendar.

I was craving something sweet and frosty, so I looked up local ice cream places. Brenda’s was nearby and I decided to take my father for something sweet. It was almost 1pm and there were plenty of locals inside eating lunch. They seemed to be regulars from all the friendly conversations. My dad and I walked up to the counter to order and we were greeted by a young employee. She was really nice and asked what she could help us with. My dad ordered a single serve of their vanilla custard(no toppings) for my grandma and he ordered a butterscotch sundae for himself. I ordered a small sundae with just caramel and hot fudge. As we waited for our items to be prepared, by dad wandered around and looked at the paintings on the wall. The inside is cute with black and white tile and red accents — similar to a cutesy 50’s diner. The pictures and paintings on the wall were of old local places/people and even some icons of yesteryear(Elvis, Monroe, Dean, etc.) Since all of our items were to go, the employee was quick to make everything and package them up. They survived the trip home and weren’t too melted from all the delicious hot toppings. Grandma enjoyed her plain vanilla and dad liked his butterscotch. I enjoyed my sundae as well. The custard was good and similar to other custards I’ve had previously(think Culver’s). The fudge and caramel were delicious and warm. There was definitely more caramel than fudge in my sundae, but that was okay. Overall, I’d come back if another craving hit me.
