Alpha-1 Plumbing

I cannot recommend this service more highly. My pipes were frozen for two days and I literally called 100 plumbers who all told me there was nothing I could do or that they didn’t have any availability for a week. I got a recommendation for Jimmy at Alpha-​1 and he was over at my house within the hour and had the problem fixed within the hour. He was extremely professional and helpful and I totally trusted that he did nothing more than was necessary to fix the problem. He also did a great job explaining the issue to me. I will definitely call Jimmy/​Alpha-​1 if I ever have another plumbing issue and cannot recommend them more highly.

Jimmy Macheras and his team at Alpha-​1 Plumbing & Heating are terrific. They replaced our 60-​plus year galvanized steel pipes (which had rusted and decayed impressively) with brand new copper pipes throughout our home and they worked quickly, cleanly & thoughtfully.
Total pros and fantastic to work with — Jimmy took the time to explain what he was doing, why he was doing it and what it meant for the long term — cant claim Im a plumber now but Im a lot more comfortable with how the systems in the house fit together. Jimmy went beyond the call and created new shut-​off valves throughout so (god-​forbid) an issue doesnt have to become a disaster and he labeled each and every one so in the future we can act like we know what we’re doing…
You get better service and better results when you deal with a family owned business IMO and I can’t rec these guys enough.
We’re looking forward to having them service our place for a long time to come.
I can even look past Jimmy’s fondness for the Habs — despite the fact they took out the Caps in the NHL playoffs…
