Muse For Life

I started taking guitar lessons in high school and had a burning desire to become great player. After studying for a year at another studio, I felt like I had hit a wall and my playing wasn’t getting much better. I couldn’t help but to notice that my friends who were taking lessons with Craig and other teachers at Muse for Life were progressing very quickly in such a short amount of time. Eventually I came to my senses and decided to try a lesson with Craig, after all, the first lesson was free so I had nothing to lose. All I can say is when I started taking guitar lessons from Craig, everything finally started to make sense. I began to understand how to practice, execute proper technique, link scales and arpeggios together to serve my soloing, understand chord patterns, and perhaps most importantly, how to write music. Learning all of these tools at Muse for Life has been a vital to my journey as a musician over the past several years. To this day, the ability to play music, function in all kinds of bands, performing live shows has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life. Thank you Craig for helping me pave my path as a musician and teaching me life long music skills!

I took guitar lessons from Craig Canedy years ago when I was in high school. Muse For Life had just opened. It was an exciting new addition to the Atlanta community.
I still remember it as being one of the most fun things I did those couple of years. I always looked forward to going. In fact, I got a few friends to take lessons from him too. My mom also took yoga lessons and raved about it!
I’m not a naturally good guitar player in fact I’m slightly rhythmically challenged, but Craig is so patient and intelligent in his ways of teaching. I improved each week. I really looked up to him, and I’m so glad Muse For Life is a success ~ It’s truly an important part of the music and teaching community! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to take a lesson the staff is wonderful!

I took phenomenal guitar lessons from Craig Canedy. He can teach everything from theory to rhythm, which in my case, is a miracle. He also taught me the importance of music and movement that has been powerful for me and my daughter — we rock pretty hard and it brings us together like nothing else could.
My daughter also attended Muse’s summer camp and had a great time with their dozens of instruments and the outing they did to the Hooch.
I went to a couple of water ceremonies that I was a little skeptical about at first, but I was pleasantly surprised to find profound and still affect me as those icebox thoughts that keep on dawning on you.
Muse always has something cool going on, like hosting Sufi masters. I get there as much as I can and recommend it very highly.
