O’Reilly Auto Parts

So you know Murphy’s Law, right? Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Usually at the most inconvenient time. Well, Saturday I drove from Dunwoody to the Tabernacle and back. Then at 4pm I got back in the car to go to an important event I was hosting. Car = no go.
Tuesday, I got the car jumped and drove up to O’Reilly. I was sure it was my battery, but the tow truck guy (who jumped the car) said it might be the alternator.
Anyway, I went in and Amanda checked the battery. Zero charge. Next step? Replace the battery and then check the alternator to be sure. So at the exact moment we needed him, David walked through the door.
David happily agreed to change my battery and took about 15 minutes to do so. Once the new battery was in the car turned on sans jump. So, David checked the alternator and confirmed the problem was just the battery.
The whole process probably took about an hour and I was on my way. I really appreciate that O’Reilly will help you out right there in the parking lot — even despite a sign that’s says absolutely no working on cars in the lot. Glad to have this place fairly nearby!
