So I ordered a deal for a Tummy Tightener off Living Social and had it done at their Sandy Springs location. It is located inside of Kai Med Spa. The young lady who assisted me was nice but was on her cell phone texting a little too much and needed to focus more. Here is my biggest issue. Well, let me say here are my biggest issue(s) because I have a few: 1. I thought measurements were going to be taken beforehand but they weren’t. 2. The lady(don’t remember her ever stating her name) never warned me of anything. For example, the wraps were EXTREMELY hot! I mean hot as HELL! A warning would have been nice. 3. To top it off, the wraps were wrapped extremely tight. So tight that I was having trouble breathing. I really didn’t know if I’d be able to make it the full 30 minutes without passing out. I actually started becoming very concerned and was about to get up(I was lying down) and go get the lady a few times. I understand they have to wrap them tight, but it was just too tight for me and she never warned me of how tight it would be. 4. In the end, no measurements were still taken. So there was no way to tell if there were any results, and I’m almost positive there aren’t any. I forgot to add that the floor was a little dirty and you’re barefoot while receiving the wrap. I saw her grab a mop before I left, but I’m not sure what she was mopping up because the same dirt was still there. As I stated above, the lady was really nice but I’m not sure if she was new or not because she wasn’t very informative at all. It would have been nice to have been measured and warned of certain things since this was my very first time. I would have also liked to know more about the wraps and the process, the theory behind how it works, etc. The deal on Living Social states the package is valued at $ 100, so I assumed $ 100 was the regular price. But while I was there, I saw $ 35 listed as the price on their price sheet, which is what I paid. So where does the $ 100 come from??? It also appears that that the true way to gain results is by getting multiple wraps, not just one. This also was not explained to me during my visit. But whenever you see pictures of their success stories, the individual always received 4 wraps on average. All in all, it was an interesting experience and I love trying new things, but I would not return here. I would much rather just continue my regular gym routine.
