I came here recalling the old days of $ 6 prime rib deals and gargantuan desserts for $ 4 or so. This place was never exactly inspirational, but the quality was still pretty awesome given the price range, and it used to be my go-to stop on long drives north. Sadly, it seems those days are over. I have had worse service, but it was still frustrating slow considering that I was trying to get back on the road. The website promises that«every order comes with a smile», but they must have given my smile to the wrong table. The food was edible, and that’s all it really deserves. I had a pastrami sandwich in some weird pretzel bread, while my sister gnawed on a dried-out French Dip. For those looking for a much better I-15 pit stop: Peggy Sue’s 50’s Diner, 100 miles to the south in Yermo. You can’t miss the signs…

Where to go when you get hungry at Primm casino? NOTHERE. I have been to this café several times, each time forgetting that this place completely SUCKS! Part of this is due to the good restaurants around it always having a 45 min wait. The staff here is ridiculous. We stand at the door like idiots for at least 5 min to get seated knowing that a server has acknowledged our existence, while 2 waiters stand around the cash register RIGHTNEXT to the door just chitchat away like middle school. They give you menus and resume ignoring you until one of them is finished chatting. And might I add, the manager not only allows this behavior of the staff but acts like the ring leader of this circus. Then there is that shy server(probably the newer workers), who works his ass off cleaning all the tables that all the other waiters fail to notice needs cleaning. Food is decent for what it’s worth. But if you wait for more than 15 min for your food… stars begin to drop, FAST. I see that some people order their food, leave the place to gamble for 20 min and come back just in the nick of time to catch their food. Think I’m exaggerating? I probably saw 3 tables like this. I am glad we got Sela as our server this last time that I went. This woman is genuinely sweet to all her customers and actually works for her tips. So if you don’t see a little old lady working, DON’T EVENBOTHER

We stopped on our way home from the Strip and the one thing we really craved was a nice steak dinner. We weren’t sure where to go so we decided to check this place out based on casino employees’ recommendations. We check in at the front and the host lets us know that the kitchen is a little behind and it might be a 30 – 40 minute wait. He was very nice and allowed us to wait inside at a table despite the delay. We only waited 10 minutes and we had drinks and our order was taken. Our server was pretty cool and we got our food within 20 minutes. Okay, the food: I thought it was pretty normal late night dining fare. The steaks were okay and the sides were normal(mashed potatoes or fries, side of veggies). Overall, we were pleased and left with full tummies. I thought the prices could’ve been a bit lower for the quality.

We usually stop here for meals on our way home from Vegas. Had breakfast here back on 6÷26÷11. Pancakes were pretty light and fluffy and good. Portions are pretty generous. Food overall, is nothing stellar, but decent. Service seems to lag at times. Prices seem to have gone up over the years. They use to have a pretty good prime rib for dinner for only 7 bucks. But not anymore. They have a pretty large menu selection, so I am sure there is something for everyone.

This place used to have a different menu– shrimp fajitas for $ 10.99– and it was delicious(it is severely missed). The menu has changed a bit. Every once a in while, when we go to the Primm/Fashion Outlets, this is where we will stop by to eat, mostly. So we came here today for lunch– not crowded, like it was in the past. Sign of the times? Or did people shopping just eat at the food court(lacking– not many choices). We usually like to order a couple things and split it. First off, there are some different things on the menu, like a footlong burger(what the hell? but they don’t have a philly sandwich– weird), that I’ve never heard of, or seen. We ordered the Reuben and the French Dip(comes on pretzel bread; probably to soak up the au jus); one with fries and one with coleslaw. The reuben was very good, marble rye, just enough sauerkraut and flavorful pastrami(although, the last bite, had lots of fat, which I picked out, but it’s typical of pastrami meat). The french dip was missing something. My husband said it was missing flavor/bland, and it might’ve been the worst french dip he ever had. He also had three pieces of cartilage(yuck! not me.). I liked the pretzel bread(I love plain pretzels!) that it was on, but the sandwich could’ve needed some seasoning or something. The au jus was a little on the boring side too. The fries were ok. The coleslaw, according to my husband, was very good, and he finished it.(I don’t like coleslaw by itself.) The server was alright, but he did forget the au jus. He checked in with us once during the meal. Also, this restaurant serves three flavors of Smoothies, but I don’t recall seeing on the menu; rather, saw the announcement card on our table. In the past, my husband had a burrito, which he recalled was good, but the reuben is much better, he says. This restaurant has booth seating as well as table seating(large parties) throughout its spacious location. Also, this restaurant is a participant in the Entertainment Book(bogo coupon). The rest of the staff is nice, greetings on the way out.

Upon driving from Searchlight we came upon Primm and stopped to buy lotto tickets. We were hungry and couldn’t find anything in Buffalo Bill’s, so we took the tram to Terrible’s Casino. We walked in and came across the Gallery Café. It and it’s menu looked decent so we got seated. There were 4 of us. Two ordered the pastrami ruben on marble(one with extra thousand island), one ordered the Light Bites hamburger with bacon, and I ordered the Light Bites grilled cheese on wheat. The wait was about an hour. Let me say, it does not take 1 hour to make a grilled cheese sandwich. The table next to us, go seated after us and got their food just before we did. The pastrami rubens came with no thousand island on either not to mention the extra, the hamburger came with no bacon, and my grilled cheese came on sourdough bread. I sent mine back and got the correct order 5 minutes later… Really?! Since we had so much time to wait, I noticed about 2 or 3 other tables sent their food back as well. When we went to pay, they tried to charge us $ 1.00 for cheese on the hamburger when on the menu it said $.50 more. The cashier had to get manager approval to take this charge off which took another 10 minutes. 1. We will NOT be going back there 2. They did not receive a tip Terrible service, and I would’ve rated them 0 stars, but once again you can’t.

Stopped here yesterday before going to the mall. Big Mistake! There was a line to get in, which I have never encountered before. I wanted to leave but we stayed. We got seated after about 10 minutes. The waiter came right away for drink order, then came right back for our food order. Then we never saw him again. After 40 minutes I felt we should just leave. All others who came in after us received their food. The BF went to the manager to see what happened to our order. He came over and at first was quite annoyed when he was trying to say we did not place our order until 11:10. I told him that is not correct we placed our order at 10:50. He looked at me like I was lying, at this point I got pissed and just barked at him, I told him what time we arrived what time we were seated and how long we were sitting there. 40 minutes. He walked off, then came back and said our order was started, oh yippee 45 minutes later. The food finally came, the manager finally apologized, the food was OK, the eggs were good the potatoes barely cooked. And the only reason I am giving a star(well because we have to) is because he did not charge us. Stay away from this place. The service is horrible. The food not much better. It is kind of sad, years ago this place was not too bad and had decent food and service.

The WORST place to eat! First off it too 10 minutes to get anyone to ask us for our drink order… then another 10 minutes for our drinks to show up. The food was worst than Denny’s and I hate cookie cutter chains so for me to say that it’s pretty bad. I order an omelet and got the order wrong and gave me egg whites which I did not ask for. Portion size was horrible and I had to ask 3 times for my Oj… utensils and creamer. I should have waited for Baker and ate at Bob’s Big Boy!

Stopped for lunch here before shopping at the Primm outlets. I had 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 pancakes, which is pretty hard to screw up. Plus it only cost $ 3.99. We didn’t have a problem with slow service, but we were one of the only 5 or so occupied tables. But I’m giving 2 stars because it was sort of pricey for what it is. I mean $ 10+ for a burger? That really isn’t much incentive to exit the freeway!

We stopped by Primm for brunch before driving back to LA. This café is similar to a Denny’s. Service is pretty slow. I ordered the special breakfast sandwich which came with hash browns(approx $ 10). The sandwich was a tad oily and not as salty as I expected it to be. I tried some of my bf’s sweet cream pancake, it was ok.

My husband and I came here about the same time last year. We made a good choice last year when we got up and left after 20 min of being ignored. This year we ended up here after a long trip from San Diego. We were starving! We decided to give this place another try. We were sorry we did. Things you should know before stepping foot inside this place. Don’t come here if you are hungry. Don’t come here if you are in a hurry. Don’t come here if you expect the management to care. Don’t come here if you like your meat cooked. I ordered the House Breakfast Sandwich. It was good but it wasn’t worth the hour wait. The sandwich had eggs, jack cheese, ham and I think bacon. It was served on warm pretzel bread. It came with a side of hashbrowns. My husband had a burger and fries. He likes his meat well done… the meat on his plate was practically still alive. We were never checked on so by the time my husband had a chance to say his burger was raw it was time to go. The waiter had his manager take it off the bill. While we were paying my husband was trying to give the manager some advice and she couldn’t have cared less. She had a yeah.yeah.yeah…whatever attitude. I don’t blame the wait staff here. Our waiter was pretty funny when we he wasn’t busy getting yelled at by pissed off patrons. The wait staff is overworked and understaffed.
