The food here is delicious! I love the staff as well they are extremely friendly and helpful when you’re trying to avoid certain ingredients :) the decorations and set up of the place are also very comfortable and adorable, makes you feel right at home! If you’re in the area and want a great place for breakfast/brunch this is definitely a place worth checking out!

Coffee is ok but the bakery is why we come here. The sandwiches here make for wonderful lunches along with good soups. The fresh daily scones and pastry are killer.

My daughter and I had lunch here today and everything was excellent. The sandwiches were delicious, with the freshness of all the ingredients obvious by the taste. We also got the gelato(chocolate and vanilla bean), which was excellent as well. Everyone there was helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

This place was not on my radar despite many trips to portland. Excellent soup, sandwiches and salads by a non profit that supports high risk youth. Awesome!

I dropped in for a quick snack and a place to work for awhile. To my surprise the ant farm provided more than nourishment and space. Not sure if it’s just Oregon– but the staff was so genuinely happy and delivered wonderful service. My scone and coffee were delicious too. Seems like a wonderful project they have for youth in the community as well. I recommend!!!

Fresh, delicious food and it supports a good cause. My kind of place. We ordered the farm salad and added chicken salad to it. We also had the chicken salad on baguette with spinach. Both were delicious, fresh, had crunchy, tasty components like raisin and celery. They were very accommodating for the kids– did a half peanut butter sandwich and half grilled cheese. Also got the tomato soup which was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Wish there was a location by home. Will be back next time we’re driving through on the way to Sunriver!

In the 22 years that I’ve been vegetarian, I have never worried about there being bacon in potato salad when ordering it from restaurants, particularly a restaurant like this that appears to be veggie friendly. The fact that it isn’t vegetarian should be on the menu, or, at the very least, the staff should have indicated that it wasn’t vegetarian when we were ordering all other things vegetarian. Also, the sandwich bread was stale, and some of the spinach on the sandwich was rotten. I won’t be returning.

We were in town for the geocaching challenge and looking for a quick coffee stop. Saw AntFarm and decided to give it a try. Scones were amazing, particularly the blueberry, and the coffee was great. We’ll be back.

A pretty place with mediocre service. it just needs a little work to fine tune their customer service. really like Ant Farm and what they do, if only they would stay open longer, act like they want to be there and answer their phone.

AntFarm Café is so crazy great I wish they would open another in west Portland. This is a must stop at restaurants on the way to Bend or Mt Hood. The killer gelato is made with all fresh ingredients so intensely bursting with flavor that one might forget that it is gelato The atmosphere is lodge like and artsy people hangout here all day

Nossa Famillia in Sandy? Impressive! This place is beautiful, has friendly people, and the espresso was a tad bit overextracted, being a bit bitter, but was impressive for the suburbs overall!

Why go to Subway when just a few feet away is this beautiful gem? Likely the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Lovely staff. Amazing breads and coffee. Veggies from their garden. Can’t wait for a repeat visit!

Very cute place and comfortable open seating area. The stars are for the listed things — I have some reservations about the mediocre taste of the coffee and then they are a non profit for something but I couldn’t tell how that works. They would benefit from being more clear about their mission l. I would drink middle of the road over sweetened coffee for a good cause but not simply because they are a non– profit. I just loved the look though — the lighting and the cute shelves put a smile on my face.

I do like the coffee house meets charity concept. There is a place in Denver this brings emergency aid to impoverished or war torn areas that operate out of a coffee house and a thrift store in the Arvada area. This place’s mission, however, is a lot harder to figure out. I tried and read all the literature — but I didn’t quite gather what all they were trying to do. Neat place, average coffee, and nice people — but I’m not 100% sold on the organization they’re running. If the coffee was better I’d be back.

Bagels baked in house, and bacon that’s THICK. Yum! Expertly crafted coffee from Nossa Familia Roasters in Portland is prepared here by well trained hands. And best of all: its a 501c3 registered non-profit…who doesn’t want to help the kids? Indoor and outdoor classrooms to work with the local children mean that his place is staffed by some passionate volunteers. Check it out. I highly recommend it!

My new favorite sandwich spot in Sandy. Why? The bread is made daily and they even make english muffins in house for their breakfast sandwiches. The quality of the ingredients is fantastic-thick cuts of ham or pastrami, and fresh veggies. You also can completely customize every sandwich whether it’s a breakfast sandwich or a more typical lunch sandwich. The result is a truly great sandwich.(Also they are enormous…½ a sandwich is plenty.) Also they have fresh pastries that are made daily and a soup of the day. Full espresso bar available as well. To top it off this restaurant is a non profit. All the profits go back into providing classes for the community and other outreach projects! When driving though Sandy this place is not to be missed!

I don’t have time to write everything that is great about this place but here’s the highlights. The café’ is great! They are slowly and thoughtfully growing their menu. I judge a place on their straight up house coffee, and it’s always fresh and brewed to perfection. They offer organic and locally sourced coffee — food and their baked goods are actually made on premise. The staff is always warm and friendly, the space is large yet warm and inviting. It’s a great place to sit and chat or get some much needed work done — lots of outlets if you have an old computer that doesn’t hold a charge ;). Okay now if that’s not enough — As I understand it they have a greater mission than just being an awesome café’. They are a nonprofit that engages youth in the outdoors in a thoughtful /learning and service environment. Connecting them to the natural world, their community and applying these experiences into real life action. I’ve also noticed some classes being offered in the back and it looks like it’s for a wide range of people and interests. Oh ya and they have home made gelato — get out of here! This is a really wonderful place!
