Brought my teen daughter for tea & sandwiches. Perfect for what we were looking for. Daughter had BLTB& said it was unbelievable, I had the harvest turkey on rye… YUM. We shared a pot of chai tea & claimed our ‘free’ scone on Unilocal for dessert. Again, everything was fabulous for the outing we had in mind… leave your man & boys at home… this is a girlfriend or mother-daughter venue. Some soft background music would be a nice addition.

Very nice tea house! I had iced lemongrass tea and a wheat-free chocolate chunk scone. Both were delicious. The service was excellent, and it has a nice outdoor seating area. I had a nice couple of hours hanging out and reading in the yard.

This place is so peaceful, and the food is amazing! I recommended the strawberry rhubarb oolong tea to anyone coming here!

Took an hour for us to be served a grilled cheese sandwhich, a BLTB, a Thanksgiving sandwhich and two soups… Not even worth commenting on the food bc anywhere you have to wait an hour is NOT worth it!

Worthy of the 5 star! Great prices, and even better food. The Harvest sandwich was something else.

Perfect mid way break on our drive from bend to Seattle. My husband and I both got the English high tea which was amazing. We started with the tomato soup and then had the most delicious scones that were fresh out of the oven. The chicken salad sandwiches were also delicious, as well as the tea of course. Cute place and great good!

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday & thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the salmon sammie & my husband had the chicken salad sammie. Both were delicious and VERY fresh. He had a killer salad called the Earl Grey & I ordered the roasted red pepper soup. Both also very fresh and delicious. We’re both serious tea drinkers too and wow! Talk about great tea. Def recommend & if we’re ever in Sandy again, we’ll be back!

This is a great little place to stop and have a delicious bowl of soup, scrumptious salads with their homemade dressings, delectable scones, and of course tea! Great service, fun décor, and a definite must when passing through Sandy. Places like this are what make a town unique. We will be back for sure.

The house chai tea was just what I needed. Super cute place. The swampy water scone and the apple cinnamon scone were both sweet and tasty. Great combo! A must if you are driving by or in town. Staff was very friendly and they have cute stuff in their mini store inside.

A dear friend and I enjoyed a lovely lunch. Staying away from gluten, I had the chicken salad on a Lady Grey salad which was excellent. Then for dessert, the gf pumpkin muffin, very yummy. The iced citrus infusion was perfect for the hot day and as an accompaniment to my meal. Next time on a warm day, I’ll take my goodies out to the lovely garden area and relax there as I dine.

We stopped here on our way from Bend to Portland. On a Geocaching trip. The soup is way way over the top and the salads are to die for. Also the service and friendly folks and calming music make it a great place to stop. We will be back for sure. Very very nice. J&D

Best spot for tea in Sandy and the Sandy area. Great selection, love the«Throat Coat» and a lot of the other teas. Most of the food is really good, love the Thanksgiving Day Sandwich. The soup is always killer, their scones are yummy, the crescent rolls are homemade and just fantastic, add some meat and cheese and MMMMMM. The Waffles are good, even better when fruit is in season and you get strawberries and stuff on the waffle. Service… Don’t expect to be in and out in 5 minutes. It can take awhile. I usually don’t stop by unless I have 30 minutes to spare. Everyone is super nice and friendly, but a little slow. I understand they are a small staff, and one person does everything from the register to the tea to the food. But a few things could be streamlined or batched together a little bit in my opinion.

I have to disagree with other reviewers and say that I do not care for this tea house. I have been twice, once on a casual visit with daughter, and once on a «reservation» basis for a Mother’s Day Tea. Both times, I found the food to be dried out and anything but fresh. For the Mother’s Day Tea, it was obvious that the sandwiches had been made the day before and perhaps improperly stored, because both the bread and filling were dried out on the edges. The desserts were also dry, and maybe thawed out too long? Not sure, but the price didn’t match up with the quality.

Went here with my mom and best friend. The shop is charming and the staff was friendly. Had the high tea which was fantastic. My best friend has food allergies so we figured she couldn’t eat much but she had a salad that was beyond expectations. I will definitely come back.

I love tea and I love Chariteas! This is a very great place to go have a cuppa with cucumber sandwiches. The price is awesome to have a couple pots of tasty tea with a friend, a light snack and a great time to just relax and enjoy tea. I walked away buying some really tasty tea, having a great time and getting awesome service. This is not like going to Teavana where they just mob you with a sales rep to sell you some tea, you can actually enjoy it and then take some home. This is how tea should be sold. So when in Sandy with some friends go to Chariteas it really is great being served tea in a cute little yellow house with tables and couches to relax at. A quick tea lover getaway not too far from Mt. Hood.

So nice in there. It’s relaxing and charming. Great teas, excellent gluten free options which I have to have-celiac disease. Friendly service, great prices… tea heaven! Love having a pot of tea on a chilly day. This is a true gem in Sandy and so very needed! Try the long leaves tea & a lady grey salad– you will smile, I promise.
