Great if you like the taste of freezer-burnt meat. Food was terrible. I haven’t been that grossed out by the taste of my food in a long time.

It’s really«americanized» but it is still good food. You rarely wait to get seated, but at times, the line to get your food cooked is extremely long, sometimes taking up to 20 minutes to get through the line. But the atmosphere is good and the food is delicious.

This place could be better, the idea is a decent one. However, it’s terrible. I’ve known many who have worked and frequented here at this location, yet I’ve still only eaten in this place twice. This review is not reflective of any bias, simply my personal experiences with the place as a whole, and wanting anyone thinking about eating here to think twice. Coming from living in Las Vegas, where the dining experience in general is much higher than Utah, the standards of food and maintenance here are very bad. I totally understand that food and carpet are a hard combo when it comes to cleanliness, but it seems there’s always food bits scattered about. From what I’ve seen, the servers don’t have to do as much as a normal restaurant, but seem highly inclined to float around aimlessly. And only a few grill workers take the time to cook the food properly to maintain a decent flavor. Most of the items are not cut small enough to cook in the time the meat does. Also, the buffet system looks as though everything could be sitting in the same bin, with how much is thrown around and with the sauces just seeping into each other. If this place could actually maintain better professionalism; internally between the management and workers, and of course externally with their customers… it might be better than pure crap. Unfortunately the way it’s going, nothing will ever change.

Pure unadulterated slop. Cheap food to feed the masses that is way to expensive. 42.00 when a McDonald’s cheeseburger is about the same quality

This place is clean and plenty of space for a large group. The reason I gave it a four star is because I haven’t had a chance to try a lot of the food they have on the menu besides the actual all you can eat food they have for you to mix and grill. All you can eat section has plenty to chose from which I was impress by that. Cooks were fast on the grill. I will definitely come back for the all you can eat.

The food was tasty, plenty of options and if you have kids probably a good place because it’s all you can eat. But the issue is the grill, it’s nasty and meal after meal gets Cooked on it and the floor around it is even worse. We did not get sick by any means but I could see how someone could. Plus they cook seafood on the same grill so if you were allergic beware even if you don’t get seafood the guy before you could have. Waitress was nice and this place is cheap so maybe worth the risk. We wont come back but if I was faced with Hu Hot over a chilis or Olive Garden I’d Brave it.

What a great place! My wife and I went in on a Friday night expecting a long wait. We got there and there was a long line, but with just 2 of us, we were at a table in 5 minutes! My wife is gluten and dairy intolerant, they made sure to take really good care of her by cleaning the grill of any trace of gluten and dairy. They had a very friendly staff and hard working crew. We will be back!

Tried this place for lunch. I didn’t think it would be so busy. It is good food with a good selection of items to put in your bowl. An especially good selection of sauces. My was over left on the grill a little too long because there were so many people. The keep the muscles in the shell which caused broken shell bits in my food. I will go back but when it is not so busy.

Food was good, giving 3 stars as they accomodated my food allergy. Service sucked! Trying to get a refill needs an act of Congress, waited for almost 10 min and held my glass up twice as employees walking around and no one acknowledged me. Not coming back.

Tried this place to go. You grab a bowl, fill it up with noodles, frozen sliced meat: chicken, pork, crab and beef. Then you add your veggies and tons of sauces. Make sure you overload your bowl because it shrinks when it’s cooked in front of you and get your money’s worth, They’ll stir fry it then pack it into a to go container for you and wallah! The flavor and quality is indicative of an all you can eat place. Just average. 10.99 was the to go price.

Love this grill! Pick your own everything! You can’t go wrong. Love the Khan’s Favorite sauce. Get here early to beat the long long lunch lines. Not five stars because it really isn’t the cleanest of places. But the food it good.

This place really reminds you that Mongolia could use some help in its food preparation standards. I would definitely agree with those that were grossed out by the food preparation. While I know that kitchens in most restaurants are not always or even often clean, I guess that I like that you cannot see them. Going to this place is kind of like going into Subway, except the people who work here actually cook things on a hot griddle. Sweating employees sort of clean up after cooking each meal, but I would have a hard time believing that the ground has been swept or vacuumed in the last day. Overall, the food was not special. You get a lot of it, but I felt like there was never enough sauce, mostly because it had boiled off before they got to mixing it in. If you want a similar, tastier, and more hygienic eat, go downtown to Charlie Chows. They are better and way cheaper.

Same rating as before and same pros and cons by and large as before. However they do tend to place the contents of your bowl in the grill for a bit too long or too short depending on the queue at the grill and hence you might not exactly taste the sauces you choose completely.

If you’ve been to a Mongolian Grill before then it’s pretty good. It’s more American-used than most. There were 3 kinds of noodles: thin, spaghetti and pad Thai(which were gluten free) The meat selection had your usual meats, plus raw bacon, popcorn chicken, meatballs, hot sausages and Kelbasa. There was no shrimp. The veggies had the typicals plus corn, black beans, mangos, potatoes and peaches. Not a lot of leafy veggies. Lots of sauces, but take your time to look at recipes suggestions. The grill cooks weren’t too friendly. Bacon wasn’t cooked long enough. Some veggies were still a little undercooked. Overall not to bad, waitress was very friendly.

Great variety of veggie choices with things clearly labeled. The sauce they have a good amount of and it says if it contains soy, is gluten free or is vegan, as well as the calories. Very helpful!!! They have brown rice as an option as well. Yay. They don’t get 5 stars because I feel like they needed to come up with a bit better way for the sauces, I saw some people spill a bit of the sauce in to a neighboring sauce. Also, they don’t use different spatulas for each person’s meal unless you specifically tell them. Cross contamination for sure. My meal was fabulous and I loved it!

I have brought groups of people here twice and both times the staff, food and service have been outstanding. Fun for large groups due to the variety and experience. Get the table side S’mores as they are a great conversation piece. I’ve had great, terrible and good Mongolian BBQ and this one is near the top.

An interesting spot. We were very nervous about going especially after reading the review about the mouse in the dining area. If you are a germaphobe this place is definitely not for you. If you like strict flavor profiles, again not your place. Interesting mix of all you can eat with a variety of meats, veggies, noodles as a base, then a create your own sauce mix. This is the type of place that you will need to visit a few times to get your flavor profile together. There are a ton of sauces and suggestions to help guide you. While we did not see evidence of critters or mice, but it is definitely not a clean place. The only reason I was somewhat ok with it was; all the food offerings were frozen and then grilled. I don’t dare try the restrooms for cleanliness since the dining area is a disaster. For those with food allergies– be very very cautious– specially nut allergies. The sauce bar is a mess, and I guarantee there was plenty of cross contamination of the sauces. Being a all you can eat– no to go boxes. We may be back, but may come for lunch when the prices are cheaper and hopefully cleaner being earlier in the day. I was also not ok with the staff fixing their dinner while I was going through the line. My husband’s comments was«we have been in second and third world countries where the places were cleaner and with better service».

I ate here and had a mouse hanging out at the booth next to us. I told a manager and they laughed it off saying«I know. It’s been here for like a month. It must have 100 lives.» Uh? Or are there 100 mice? They really should have comped my meal or offered some sort of discount. They said they’d send me something in the mail but of course I’d never eat there again. I tried reaching corporate but they ignored the situation. I posted on their fb page but they deleted my post. It’s too bad. I was a fan. If could give this place zero stars I would.

My co-workers rave about this place and often times go during lunch. I held off so I could take my wife and daughter for a date night.(Bad idea) It’s a Friday night around 6:30. Probably my fault since its rush hour, but according to other reviews, this place is notorious for taking forever. We had about a 15 minute wait to get seated(not too bad), but the whole process of getting your food is what killed it for me. You load up in a buffet line, filling your(small) bowl of veggies, meats, noodles, and Sauces to hand off to a cook to grill up. They have 4 cooks grilling your stir fry ingredients around a Sun Dial shaped stove. While we’re on the topic of a clock style stove, did I mention it takes forever? The line was extremely long to get to the cooks so we stood there with our bowls for 12 – 15 minutes at least! It was very demotivating to go back for seconds. Perhaps that’s their secret for profit. Offer a buffet but take forever for customers to go back for seconds. *The food was good, but not great. I couldn’t help but think of people sneezing and coughing all over the food in the buffet line. Plus all the prongs to grab the food, were in the food. After been touched and handled by tons of people. Our waiter was very slow. Again, I get its a Friday night, busy, yadda yadda. But come on man… Refill our drinks and if the rice bowls are a courtesy, get them out asap. 2 adult meals, 1 kid meal, 1 soft drink, 2 chocolate milk(drink not included in kids meal) was $ 40! Not worth it at all. We went, we ate, it’s crossed off the list. We won’t be back.

Thanks to Tony’s review on here I would have had a skimpy plate. We did as he said and got 2 bowls, one for the noodles and veggies and the other for the meats. They have a huge selection of awesome tasting sauces where I would like to try most of them but do not want to mix them with others. A great spread of fresh veggies and meats. The line was long to get the food cooked up, but it goes fast. I have been going to Chinese Gourmet for their Mongolian Grill for many years and this place is a lot better quality. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Can’t wait to go back and try some other sauces on my plate.
