Great place to eat. I love their chicken lettuce wraps. Good quality food, but fast food version. Good customer service too. Will be going back for sure.

Do yourself a favor and if you order takeout make sure that you give yourself plenty of time. Every time I’ve gotten take out they are always at least 20 minutes behind. Frustrating. On top of that don’t plan on having all your food made it once as if you were dining in. It won’t happen.

Meh at its best. Bland, overpriced food. Staff was friendly, but the positives ended there.

I always get the teriyaki tofu rice bowl. It’s a generous serving and every time I get it, it’s cooked very well. That’s the only menu item I actually like, though. The others taste pretty mediocre to me, or have too much flavor/sauce. I wouldn’t suggest trying the sushi either. It’s a decent price, like everything else on the menu, but there are definitely better places to get sushi

We chose Pei Wei for a good quick meal while stoping through for the night. I waited in line for at least 15 minutes(1 register running) and then placed a to go order. I was asked my name but also given a number. We went and waited at a table for at least 20 minutes when I finally decided to ask the to-go counter about our food. They had it, handed it to me, asked if I wanted some Fortune Cookies, as if it would make up for what happened. They said sorry and then turned around and kept working on other orders. I had to get their attention to ask for condiments and then when we arrived at our hotel, we discovered there were no utensils! Very disappointing experience!

We walked in, and the restaurant was very busy. The staff got our orders, and given that I was starving I got Sushi, Kung Pao Chicken and my wife and son got the childs bowl and Mongolian chicken. We had to wait forever, but eventually the Sushi shows up. The son was starving so we were able to flag down a food runner who offered to get him some soup. About 10 minutes after that, we got the food. All of it was somewhat lacking. The kids bowl was literally just chicken and noodles(no veggies). The Mongolian chicken literally had the sauce ladled over it. The Kung Pao was not flavorful at all. My son ended up inhaling his soup and not eating his entrée, this is sad that the only thing we didn’t pay for was the best bang for the buck. At the end of the day, I’d hope that given who the parent company is, that the food would be a bit better, but unfortunately I was wrong.

I really like the spicy pei wei, it is kind of like an orange chicken/general tsao combination. It is a little spicy, but not too much. I always get it with brown rice, which is really hearty. It also comes with sliced carrots and snap peas. Overall, it is a really good combination and they have pretty hefty servings, definitely enough for left-overs. I have also tried their lettuce wraps and they were quite tasty, except they never give you enough lettuce, so you have to flag someone down and ask for more. I also like that they have a service/drinks counter where they have forks, chopsticks, sauces, fortune cookies, and anything else you might need throughout the meal, including to go boxes. It is nice not having to go wait and ask for all of these things. It’s not the most amazing chinese food, very americanized, but it still really good.

I highly suggest you pass this place for whatever you have to do on the weekend, there’s nobody in the parking lot but the dining room is a mess, there’s a 45 minute wait for take out even though there’s no customers inside.

It’s ok if you are in the mood for Chinese food that is a step or two above Panda Express. Last time, and I mean that in more than one way, I was served chicken that was seared on the outside but raw in the middle. I didn’t discover this until I was almost done.

I am a very regular customer. I have yet to order something I don’t like. The Thai Dynamite Chicken with fried rice is my favorite though. Another plus, being a regular customer, when I call they address me by name can see what I usually order and ask if I’m getting the same thing. Very nice touch. The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is the slow service. Both dining in and take out are not up the par and getting worse. The locations are very small and tables are so close to each other it’s difficult to even have a conversation sitting across from you. As for take out, just make sure you call in at least 25 to 30 minutes before you want to pick it up and don’t be surprised to wait even longer once you get there. Overall, give it a try.

I heard that pei Wei is a branch of pf changs and so I gave this place a chance and went late in the afternoon. We were the only people in the restaurant and at first I had to figure out how to order. Once I figured out how to order, I ordered the lettuce wraps as well as a chicken dish with pineapples. When we got our dish, the portion was a decent size, but the sauce was way too sweet and saucey. They overdid the sauce and therefore it seemed a bit overkill. I don’t think I would come back to this pei Wei but if I do, I would try another dish.

Honestly this place used to be a lot better. I have found that some of these restaurants have gone downhill. I was there over the weekend, and I don’t know if much attention to what the floor looks like. It was absolutely filthy. I don’t know how people can regularly eat in a setting like that. I finally couldn’t handle it anymore, so I called one of the employees over to sweep the floor around me. I don’t know if these places change ownership over time and that’s why they go downhill but I do not remember it being like this in years past. Now having said that, the food wasn’t too terribly bad. I got the wonton soup and the noodle lo mein with chicken. Let’s just say, I’ve had better of both. It was pretty greasy. I don’t know if I have a desire to go back again.

Had a horrible experience here last week. They messed up our order after we confirmed it with them twice. Then there was egg shell in the fried rice. When we asked to see a manager to address the problem the manager was unresponsive and didn’t even say much they didn’t apologize or anything. A few minutes later we got a new order but an apology would have been nice.

Every Tuesday my co-workers randomly selects a restaurant to have lunch at. This restaurant was picked out of the box. Not really my choice to have Chinese food but i gotta take one for the team. I guess it’s not bad. I’ve eaten here several times already. Today they screwed up my order, but they were fast to apologizeand correct it. Offered if i wanted to speak with the manager. I said it’s all good. No need. They have me a $ 10 gift card. Pei Wei is a lottle too pricey for lunch if you ask me. Yes like everyone says… It’s Chinese American food.

When you’re thinking about having a national chain dining experience, keep it simple and go to Pei Wei for Asian fare. You make your meal decision while standing in line and looking at a large, lit up menu board. Order your selection at the counter and pay for your food. You are then given a number(so the server can find you) and you can pick a table to your liking. Typically, the wait time for your food to be served will be short. Then a server brings the meal to your table. You don’t have to carry your food to the table. The portion size of your entrée is more than adequate; however, you may want to try an appetizer to mix things up a bit — consider a lettuce wrap or sushi roll. For a main course, I had Mongolian beef served on a bed of brown rice. Good flavors and everything tasted fresh. You should finish your meal off with a handful of fortune cookies. I don’t want to forget to tell you about the iced tea, it is a green tea, with a hint of orange flavor — delicious! Pei Wei has a pleasant, bright décor with a clean and contemporary look. You can see the food being prepared. It’s a sure bet that you will have a good experience and not have to give a lot of thought to your dining experience. I recommend you give Pei Wei a try. Salute!

2.5 stars. It’s ok, but I’m less impressed each time I go. It’s pricey for a small amount of pretty ok food. I understand«al-dente» veggies, but I don’t think they even cook the stuff. We got Mongolian beef, and it came with raw mushrooms, raw carrots, raw scallions /green onions(a taste I couldn’t get out of my mouth until 24 hours later). The beef portion was skimpy, but it had a good flavor. One huge turn-off was when I went to get extra plates for us to use. I’m not a huge«clean freak» but I had to sort through 12 plates until I found 3 that didn’t have mushy old food on them. If the restaurant is reading this, I think the tops were clean but there was food stuck to the bottom of most of the plates, which transferred when they were stacked. Either way, that’s nasty and you need a new dishwasher. But the place is usually crowded at lunch & dinner time(and often hard to find a seat), so lots of people obviously love it. I just think it’s not as good as it used to be, and is on a downward trend.

Understanding their menu and system might take a minute but overall I’m an fan of PEIWEI. I’ve ordered the steak lo mein the last couple times I’ve been and would gladly do so a 3rd time. The outdoor seating is also a nice option to have.

Ordered steak Mongolian with white rice to go, flavor is good but the portion size in disappointing ! For a $ 9 It came in a enormous bag and a small container, how about go cheaper on the bag and shrink it and put more toward the food, I wouldn’t mind having more rice with it!

This place really is awful. My family and I eat here every now and the when we are in a hurry. Tonight, as with every other Pei Wei experience I’ve ever had, my noodles were overcooked and watery, the meat was cheap and fatty, and my dish had approximately 1lb of scallions on top of it. The final slap in the face is that this place costs as much as a real restaurant. Why do I do this to myself? Is the universe against me? What did I do to deserve this?!? I could have spent $ 30 on cool vinyl records instead! Ugh.

The price is good for similar food and restaurant. The size is big portion as well … This is a restaurant whereby you felt«worth it».
