Michelle Alteration

I have used Michelle’s twice and both times my items were not ready when she said they would be. I had to come back again several days later. That would be bad news if you needed to wear that item for an occasion right away. She does good work but is unrealiable. Recommendations for somewhere else that actually keeps their word on due dates?

Ok, so I used Michelle’s for hemming 7 pairs of dickies uniform pants. She had them done in a week. I was very satisfied with the work they did and the hem looks wonderful. I think they can do rush orders if needed from what the sing said, but you would pay extra. Small local business and I thought the service was good. Oh and bring CASH! They take local checks only with ID or cash only. NO CREDIT CARDS! Just FYI.

Michelle is great! For a long time now she’s hemmed my pants, made parachute style dress shirts actually fit, and extended the life of many ripped pairs of jeans.
I won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon.

Michelle is good at tailoring, but don’t expect your clothes to get done when she says they will. This used to not be a problem, but she has gotten way too busy in the past few years and has too much to do. She has told me she will finish my garments by a certain date and has failed to do so on numerous occasions after I make trips out to pick up my alterations (I don’t leave nearby at all). On the most recent occasion, she told me my garments will not be done the day they were supposed to be and that she will be leaving town for over a month. This is a huge problem when you need your garments for a specific purpose and now have no option to get them done in time. Do not expect customer loyalty as I have been a customer for over 15 years and she does not seem to care.

I love Michelle! She always does an awesome job and doesn’t make me feel like an idiot because I can’t hem a pair of pants. (I think my sewing machine is too dusty anyway…)
Just dropped off a baby blanket I made using my mad sewing skills. Michelle is going to make it look like I actually have the aforementioned sewing skills.
