Party Essentials Plus

If I could give this place no stars, I would. Long story short: My husband ordered balloons for my surprise birthday party at least a week in advance. The day of the party comes — my husband calls a numerous amount of times to confirm everything… no answer. He sends someone over to pick them up between 6:30 — 6:45 and they were CLOSED already! (the store is supposed to close at 7pm). So, at the last minute my husband is forced to think of another plan. The next morning, my husband gets a call from them saying «we have your order here, but it’s not put together yet.» So one of the employees says that they can refund our card… another in the background says they can’t and that all sales are final. (Mind you, my husband paid them when he put the order in.) Okay, that’s fine if all sales are final. But it’s not a sale when we received NO merchandise from them! They charged our card without us receiving anything — that is ILLEGAL! After about 15 minutes of going back and forth over the phone (with the employees making themselves looking like complete idiots) they told us if we wanted we could go pick up the balloons and that was our only choice. WHY THE HELL WOULD WE WANT BIRTHDAY BALLOONS AFTER THE BIRTHDAY PAST?! We called our bank and disputed the charge, and BBB has been contacted. They will NOT get away with this! It’s no surprise to me their going out of business…

I have used them over and over for last minute balloons and such and they are the BEST! They are so helpful and when I was asked to get balloons for my friend’s 40^th bday party (which her husband was planning and forgot to do!) they knew exactly what I needed and it really made the party with the big mylar number balloons. Also, I was helping my mom throw a baby shower for my sister and she was doing the decorations and I called in a big bouquet of balloons and they got the colors perfect and the polka dot balloons really were darling. (And they are never out of helium or limit the number of balloons like some places…)

This party store is the best. The owners are amazing and so helpful! My favorite items in the store are the cute polka dot balloons, they last forever with the hi-​float. I go there for all my party supplies.
