This place is a perfect place to come in and have a beer after a day of hiking up on Mt. Hood! They have a very large selection of beers and ciders on tap with very reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to your beer needs.

Great guys! Very helpful when choosing a beer that was closest to my liking. So many to choose from on tap, growlers, a cold case with singles also available. The two guys sitting at the bar were right out of cheers! Thanks for making this beer buying experience an easy one!

A great Poryland place that is OUTOFPORTLAND! A nice clean tap house with your favorite bottled brands in stock. 28 kegs tapped. Peanuts only. Food next door and you can bring it in. NOKIDS sorry. It’s a great excape for all mature ages. ENJOY

We happened upon this place while vacationing. They had a good selection of beers on tap. Patrons seem to know the bartender(always a good sign). Lots of people through to fill up growlers while we sat. And we snacked on peanuts!

This place is great, always a fresh eclectic collection of beers on tap. I have also rented a keg here with ease. This is my favorite place to stop when I am waiting for my SAM to Mt. Hood Express ride. I’ve only stopped in during the day, so not sure how the evenings are. I home brew and like seeing they carry some home brew supplies.

Love this place! Great staff, great prices, and amazing selection! We always get our growlers filled here and we LOVE the atmosphere. Beware, it gets REALLY packed on First Friday’s here in Sandy! Hope this place expands soon… so we can come here for food as well!

Calling Portland, hello, pack your growlers head out on the highway looking for adventure on your way to Mount Hood, you’re born to be wild, on your way back from the hood you got to stop at Beer Den and fill up your growler, they got 31 taps and the prices are fantastic. If you live in Portland you know what I mean. I’m picking up the Boneyard IPA64 oz growler for $ 10. See my pic of chalk board of brews on tap and the price list. After ripping down knobby battered single tracks on Sandy Ridge on my adventure, and on my way back to Portland, I just pulled my red tundra carrying the fat tire green Salsa on the rack and parked on the curb almost in front of the Beer Den. Portland, pack those growlers now!

Great selection of beer and cider and decent prices. Be aware that they close at 7:00pm. If you want to go for a drink after dinner you better eat early. Also, it can get a little loud inside, not always the most relaxing place to go and enjoy a beer.

Amazing beer selection and wonderful atmosphere. After coming back to Sandy after 4 years, I was impressed to find a place like this. Would recommend to anyone who has ever tried beer. Would GREATLY recommend to my fellow beer nerds.

I’ve been going here for about 3’ish years now. It started out as just a bottle shop, much closer than the shops in Portland. Then they added a few taps for growler fills and that was great. But THEN! They set it up like a pub, a bunch more taps, glasses, etc Service is great, beer selection(both tap and bottles) is great. Homebrew supplies are so-so, not the widest selection but decent. What is missing? FOOD. Luckily you can run over to Sparky’s pizza, grab a few slices and eat them at the Beer Den, but unless you like peanuts or beef sticks, there isn’t any food here. I also think the ambiance could be spruced up a little bit. Change the lighting, the colors, etc. But that is nitpicking.

As of today 26 beers on tap. And no you won’t find coors light in this place only the best. And some of the best people you’ll ever meet!

The Beer Den is an awesome place for all things beer! They’ve got a really great selection of bottles from local craft breweries, as well as breweries from around the nation and around the world. They carry a good balance of beer styles and also include ciders, meads, framboise, and the like. In addition to their bottle selection, you’ll find 18 taps which pour pure gold, I think. On any given day you can find a yummy imperial IPA, smokey stout, sweet Belgian or pretty much any other style you like and the selection always changes to keep it fresh and new. Enjoy a pint in their«living room» or up at the bar or fill a growler and take it with you. If you’re into brewing, they’ve got that stuff too – equipment and supplies. They even teach classes on occasion and have home brew tastings open to all. And speaking of tastings, on the first Friday of every month The Beer Den hosts a FREE beer tasting… that’s right… I said FREE! Often times they have a rep come in from places like 10 Barrel, Widmer, Stone, and so on. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. It’s the kind of place you go where you feel like you’re part of the neighborhood. Highly recommend stopping in your next time to or from Mt. Hood!
