Had the Manhattan combo to go. Place was busy, took 10 mins longer then they quoted. However I must say that was the best pizza I’ve ever had from Sparkys. Everything was perfect, loaded with fresh quality ingredients and cooked to perfection, whoever made it did not stress under the pressure to get orders out to make sure it was perfect. Thank you! Plus they offered free pizza sticks for being a little late

While the pizza is delicious, they didn’t put an ingredient on we asked for, charged us for it, and when we went in to purchase another pizza, within a week I might add, they did not care and charged us for the ingredient anyway. Seriously! ZERO customer service. Thank goodness there is more pizza stores in Sandy, OR. We are of no value as a customer to them, so Paola’s here we come, where there is superior customer service…

We were headed back from Sunriver to Washington and decided to check Unilocal for a good pizza place. This came up. We called our order in 20 minutes ahead of time so it would be re ready when we got there. When we got there we found a very small, cramped, area to actually sit down. I think this is more of a to go place as there are only 3 or 4 tables and a small bar/sitting type area. The 8 of us couldn’t sit together and had to jockey around to get to the pizza. The pizza we ordered was just ok. It was a bit on the greasy side and they forgot to put an ingredient on it that we asked for. When I brought it up to the gal working she didnt look like she gave a rats patootie. Didn’t offer to add or fix the problem. It was 38 for two medium pizzas and 3 pops. They did have it ready when we got there and it was better than Mcdonalds. Meh.

We were driving through Sandy from Portland to Walton Lake when we ordered from Sparky’s. I’ve been to their MLK location in Portland numerous times for a slice and some sticks and have always left happy. As I sat passenger seat my three friends in the back yelled at me different toppings to get while the driver was asking me for directions, however the girl on the phone was very accommodating. I asked for a half and half pizza with two toppings on one side and three on the other and asked for an order of breadsticks. I didn’t know the size’s but she said she’d make enough for all of us and it’d be 20 minutes. We arrived in exactly 20 minutes and our order was ready. She was the only person in the shop and greeted us with a smile and a good attitude. The food was great and the Giant pizza was more than enough for five twenty-something year old guys. Next time we go camping we’ll definitely stop by again.

We stopped by here for lunch and luckily it was a special Monday madness. 175 per slice. The pizza was amazing and the sauce was really really good. I had the sausage with mushrooms and it was incredible. The sausage was the best sausage I have ever had on a pizza

Who knew high school kids could make such good pizza? Good price pint and quite tasty. Try the Bussey.

We were driving through Sandy, returning to Portland from My Hood. This place had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The cashier told us it would be 15 minutes before individual slices were ready or 15 minutes if we ordered our own pizza. We ordered our own. And waited. And waited. 35 minutes later, we finally got our pizza, which was fine but nothing amazing. Those of you who travel with kids know that 15 minutes and 35 minutes are a world apart. If we’d known it would’ve taken 35 minutes to see food, we would’ve just gone to Subway. Also, no A/C, and the place is crazy hot because of the ovens. No public bathrooms, so if you’re driving through, you’ll have to stop elsewhere.

Pretty tasty slice of pizza for sure! I’ve enjoyed each one I’ve tried! Haven’t had the bread sticks yet but that’s just because my eyeballs won’t let me! When I see all the tasty choices of pizza I know I won’t have room! One of these days tho!

We stopped here yesterday for dinner after snowshoeing all day. It’s a small, hole in the wall kind of joint but I think it will become our new tradition after playing on the Mountain! The pizza was by the slice and it was delicious. Not greasy, it was tasty and cheap. The breadsticks were amazing – dripping in butter and garlic/parmesan/oil fatty goodness. SOGOOD.

Good customer service but not so good pizza. As a New Yorker, you can’t call this New York style pizza. All in all, this place was disappointing.

Good pizza by the slice or you can order a whole one made. Monday specials are the best deal.

Service is horrible. I ordered the Family Pack. It is one large specialty and one large two topping. It comes with 6 half bread sticks and a two liter. I asked for 3 large bread sticks instead of 6 half bread sticks. Told I could but there would be an up charge. When I got there and inquired about the up charge, I was told, «Two large = six half sticks». That makes no sense but what ever. I was charged and extra 1.50 for one large bread stick. I asked what the cost was for one large bread stick. I was told, «.99 cents». Why was I charged an extra .51 cents? Reply, «The manager told me to.» If this is the way they operate business, I question the quality of their products.

Stopped here to grab a slice before going over the mountain & coming back home as well. Service is not so hot as far as friendliness, but I’m an out-a-towner, maybe that’s why, no biggie. Pizza was decent, pretty flavorful toppings-wise, not my favorite type of crust(hard, thick, crunchy), but an option if you’re hungry & want something fast & easy. The second time around I knew what I was getting into with the crust & asked for some marinara on the side, which was an improvement for sure.

We got the Farm pizza, the Pepperoni(mainly for the kids) and the bread sticks. I really liked the Farm pizza and the pepperoni was good as well. Would definitely suggest going here for pizza if you’re in Sandy.

Are you headed back from Hood after a long day? You spend a few hours at Sandy Ridge? If so this place has good cheap pizza and breadstix. They are usually not busy and they are nice break from the traffic. I would compare it to schmizza.

we just moved here and we were trying to find Sandy’s best pizza. First we tried Wall Street(super oily, but they do deliver), then we tried Sparky’s and it was delicious! I obviously had to get the bread sticks because everybody raved about them and they were good… honestly nothing I would write home about, but I would probably order them again. Great pizza, just wished they delivered!

Sparky’s Pizza in Sandy is a really badly run pizza place. The pizza is mostly without distinctive flavour — the sauce is some sysco canned crap, the cheese is bland and whoever made the pizza that day was not really paying a lot o fattention to food quality. The service is horrid, the tables are sticky and dirty because the uncaring staff can’t be bothered to come out from behind the counter to wipe them down. We watched an employee sit on break, singing along to the obnoxiously loud country music, while customers had to eat off tables that were slick with grease and peppered with bits of food. The jar of pepperocinis had tongs thrown into the liquid that had been handled by a zillion people. While at peak times, the two people running the register and food were stumbling over themselves to keep up(two customers came in for phone orders that hadn’t even been started) … other employees sat around on break, playing with their computers and ignoring the comments of irritated people who stood in line without even an acknowledgement from the register or kitchen. The employees were harried and stressed(the ones actually working) and were really short and rude with the customers. Part of our order was forgotten and then hastily thrown in the oven when the server finally looked up and saw us waiting there. I often say one should not hire really young people, because they just don’t care. I didn’t see a manager or an owner there ever. As we were leaving, there were people piling in the door and the cook was just setting up a spot at the sitting counter to take his break. Two people came in, stood in line, and then walked out because nobody even looked up to notice they were there. The pizza is nothing special. I confess I think most west coast pizza is crap, and Sandy and the area really doesn’t have a decent pizza place, but Sparky’s could have good food and fast service if it had a staff that gave a flying crap. If you have no standards and are just looking to slake your munchies after marinating yourself in pot on your way down from the slopes, then this place is for you. But be prepared to sit and listen to inordinately loud country music and to be ignored by the staff.

Don’t know about the place as we got takeout and I never saw it, but I can say the pizza was a solid«good», the price was low to average, and the next-day leftover value was supurb. Next time I’m in Sandy I’ll be trying them out against their competition, but at the moment this wins the Oregon pizza prize from me(although I have not been to many pizza joints in Oregon)

After five hours of snowboarding we were so hungry we wanted to eat anything & everything. Finally opted with Sparky’s since the three other restaurants in Sandy failed to be open past 8:00pm! Sparky’s, by the way, closes at 11:00pm on Saturdays. The 3 cheese classic for $ 2& the $ 2.25 pepperoni pizza by the slice were the only two that looked the freshest while the others definitely looked as though they’d been sitting awhile. They do however throw ‘em back in the oven for a bit to reheat the pizza as well as melt the cheese. The pies are made New York style so remember that sometimes your eyes are bigger than your stomach. Just order a slice & a parmesan shtick because you can always buy another if you’re still hungry. We each got a slice of cheese & shared a .99 cent 14″ parmesan /garlic shtick. The shtick was definitely the BEST part of the meal. It’s not baked thoroughly until after you order it & oh my gosh it was so yummy we wished we would’ve only ordered that & not the slices too. It doesn’t even need marinara dipping sauce because it’s so good on its own! As for the cheese pizza it was alright, nothing spectacular. Added a few pepperoncini(huge jar of ‘em at the condiment table) & red pepper flakes to spice it up; it helped a little. I’ll check out the selection of slices at Sparky’s on SE Belmont sometime & of course pick up an order of shticks. A comparison update will come later between the quality of Sparky’s in Sandy & the one on Belmont. Until then, eat a shtick!
