First I wasn’t even sure they were open because it was completely dead that should have been the first sign, second the staff seemed confused and lacked any customer service! We ordered a family size meat pizza, chillie cheese fries and mozzarella cheese sticks. The fries and cheese sticks were actually really good but the pizza was so bad we all had one bite and left the whole pizza on the table without a second bite. The crust tastes like baking soda and cardboard and had a lot of flour under it. We had fun playing Buck hunter upstairs but will not be coming back.

We gave this place 2 shots and both times the pizza crust was hard & tasteless. Just awful. The toppings were great though & loaded. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back for a 3rd try for redemption.

The pizza was delicious. The cheese sticks weren’t so great. The servers were friendly. The restraint itself allows for privacy because it is huge.

The service is really bad here! Took us almost an hour to get our food and then when we actually got it, our order was all wrong! They definitely need to hire more ppl or ppl that know what they are doing!!!

Paola’s is «great», «the best», «we love it» but it was neither of those things our family claimed when recommending this place for lunch. The pepperoni pizza was just plain & lacked pizza sauce. The crust was bland. The large portion of caesar salad($ 9.95) tasted okay but the cup of bacon bits mixed in was unnecessary. The price of the pizzas are overpriced & paying for mediocre quality is something we like to avoid. The only good thing we dealt with during this underwhelming experience was the service.

Please spare yourself from spending money here. We stopped by this place on the way home from snowboarding. Upon walking in their were dogs running up and barking. I can overlook how unsanitary that is for a beer, but by the time this old lady came out she asked ‘what do you want!?’ in such a rude tone making you feel instantly unwanted. I asked if they were even open because she was the only person in there. Her rude manner was enough for us to walk out and go somewhere else. Steer clear. Not to mention it smells like she had smoking cigarettes inside there for years. Much better pizza joints in Sandy than this one.

The pizza is good, there is plenty of seating, very rustic, but the place needs to be dusted and is overdue for some deep cleaning.

Given them a few chances but nope; aint going back. Bugs flying around, the lady in the bar was smoking and let her dog run around. Not the sort of things I want around my food. Plenty of other pizza places in Sandy.

If you’re looking for gourmet pizza, this isn’t the place. If you’re looking for a comfy place get out of the car after a trip to the mountain, then this might be what you’re looking for. For kids– TONS of arcade games with a cool loft area upstairs. For grown ups — numerous beers on tap and a lounge and outside patio along to side of the establishment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good service overall.

We came in once before and ordered regular meals. The portions were huge and pretty good. They told us to come back for the pizza and we did. Now I regret driving the 20 mins it takes to get there for that pizza. It honestly kinda sucked.

I’m so glad I followed my «gut» feeling and went out there to try it again after reading all the negative reviews that were totally opposite from what I remembered they we like 30 years ago. I was totally impressed with the pizza and french fries. June(the server/waitress) was friendly and even humorous. I highly recommend this establishment.

We always stop in here after hitting up Mt. Hood, heading back to Portland. That huge cozy fireplace with the beat-up furniture in front of it is where I want to go to die. Okay, well not really but in that freezing moment, walking into that warm room feels like heaven. Great meatballs, good pizza, stiff drinks, rad décor, comfy atmosphere and friendly bartenders. I’ll continue to stop in after Mt. Hood, as long as I live in the area.

Have came here a few times. I actually thought their pizza was pretty decent. The service was terrible. So after going there several times the last time I went I took my brother and his family with me. We each put an order in for our family. His order came out and the lady laid it on the table in front of them. She looked right at me not knowing that we ordered the same time. After about 15 minutes 20 minutes I started wondering if they were ever going to bring our pizza out. The lady behind the counter began to sweat and fidget around. She said well I guess since you all ate your brothers pizza I guess I could give you your money back. Needless to say I have never gone back. Two stars because the pizza is decent The service is terrible!

One star for a cool atmosphere, another for good onion rings. Pizza was tasteless with too much cheese. Lots of bugs flying around. Won’t be returning.

I would give this place 4 stars off décor alone, but the pizza isn’t bad either! Very cool environment, kid friendly, with a nice fireplace rocking.

this is by far the worst pizza we’ve had in Sandy. We just moved here and have tried Wall Street, Sparky’s, and Paola’s. I was hoping it was going to be amazing… I think on their sign it even states, World’s best pizza? Anyway, I am a crust girl and this crust was seriously lacking. It honestly tasted like a pizza I would make from the grocery freezer section… or maybe worse. The toppings were good. We got half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. I don’t think I can get over the crust, it was so BLAH! We got the pizza to go so I had to go into the restaurant to pick it up and boy am I glad we didn’t eat in… it’s gross in there.

Damn good pizza! Not sure if it was because I just got done snowboarding for several hours or it was just that good. Either way we ordered a large and the pizza, spendy but large was devoured by the three of us with a bit of a struggle. We had the meat combo which had mushrooms and olives I believe too. Really good toppings, really good dough/crust, and we will definitely be back!

Worlds best pizza, it is not. But it’s not bad… Their pizza is pretty expensive almost $ 25 for a medium but its loaded with toppings. They don’t skimp on that… However the quality of their food products definitely is lacking. Probably wont be back. If you are coming down from the mountain, and you are starving, stop at Clamity Janes first. I would avoid this unless options are slim.

We’ve given Paola’s a few chances. Every time it was horrible. Once I ordered the spaghetti, which turned out to be overcooked noodles slathered in a flavourless red sauce and then fully capped in a bland, greasy blob of cheap mozzarella cheese. I took two bites and was done. It was disgusting. Hubby ordered some pizza, which was meh. Everything else we ordered was greasy slop. The place was grimy and gross. It’s a dive, no doubt, and it’s not even redeemable with its food… some places I’ve been to have been kind of grimy but the food was good, but this place is gross through and through… even if the beer and drinks are cheap. It’s a good place for baked snowboarders to stop and sate their munchies; because they don’t care about what they’re eating. The food seems to be the pre-packaged crap, the canned crap, the nasty, flavourless, unseasoned icky food that Sysco sells. Nothing fresh… We won’t go back.
