Vicky N Friend Salon

Vicky did a great job listening and cutting my hair just as I described. She was very friendly and quick while making sure I was happy with the cut before sending me on my way. Best of all was the value. I was a little nervous going in because it seemed a $ 10 haircut might not be of good quality, but my fears were set at ease. My previous haircut was from a Sport Clips and was quite different from what I described.

They have a good location right in the middle of Sandy. It’s a comfortable place to let your hair down and relax.

Worst experience ever. I brought my step daughter in for a simple trim of dead ends and found an affordable Groupon for a women’s cut. Since we didn’t need anything fancy, I thought that any salon would be fine. That was a mistake. Vicky herself helped us and I’m not sure if she was just in a bad mood, but she was not friendly or welcoming. My daughter has very curly hair and after Vicky washed it, she began trying to comb it from the top. Pretty sure most people know to start combing hair from the bottom. Anyway, she let out a big sigh and said I don’t think I can do this. Her hair is too curly and I can’t even comb it. We should have left then. I asked her if she could do a simple trim if we combed the hair. She gave the brush to my daughter and in about 3 minutes her hair was combed and tangle free. Vicky seemed so put out and bothered the whole time that I was texting my daughter while she was in the chair asking if she felt uncomfortable. Anyway, maybe this place is ok for men’s cuts but I wouldn’t recommend it to any one. Well maybe someone I didn’t like ha ha. I would stay away if I were you.

Vicky does a great job with my hair. I am a guy and I like things a certain way. She is very patient. She gives great scalp massage too.
