Del Taco

Del taco, I love you. This location is so inconsistent though. Some days they are amazing! Super fast and friendly service. Then there are days like today where they throw your food in the bag in a rush and it ends up sloppy and messy. I understand you’re busy but it takes two seconds to wrap a burrito and not smoosh it into the bag:(

WARNING FRAUD ALERT. On 9÷09÷15, one of the people working the night shift stole or credit card number and tried to use it at a Harmons in Draper.

There is ok fast food, bad fast food and then what I received today. My first impression was one of sloppy laziness. The man that handed us our drinks looked just awful. The sides of the drinks were covered in liquid and sticky. Not asked if we wanted hot sauce until after they handed us our bags and then I had to ask. Got the turkey taco meal which was supposed to come with chips and salsa. How surprising that they didn’t make it to our bags. The macho beef burrito was a sloppy sloppy mess. Don’t get me wrong is not the cleanest burrito in the world but this was ridiculous. I don’t think they even bothered to put it together. Doubt I’ll be back. Just awful

I have eaten here for over 25 years. The food is consistently decent, but the service tonight was AWFUL! I waited in drive through for 30 minutes (couldn’t escape) without anyone taking orders until I got to the window. Never had that experience before. The lady at the window was very spacey. I ordered one item and she got it wrong. Really. She didn’t charge me, but still. Cheese quesadilla with sour cream.

open late which is convenient and pretty decent food. only downside is that they get my order wrong at least once every 4 or 5 times.

This is probably one of my most visited fast food location. Their ²⁴⁄₇ store hours probably contribute to that fact as well. If you are in one of those nights when you are dying from insomnia-​burrito-​craving 2 – 3 am in the morning (or needing to satisfy a pregnant woman middle of the night that craves Mexican food) This is probably the only place in Sandy that provides service to satisfy your need.
The particular location feels a little small in their dining area compared to another one I was at in South Jordan, but they have outdoor seating here. A favorite thing to get from here is their Chicken Soft Taco. From time to time, I will try their other chicken stuff such as Spicy Chicken Burrito, Macho Chicken Burrito, and their Nachos.
Oh, and your meal is incomplete unless you put two packs of Del Inferno sauce (not the weak del scorchio or their milder stuff) in every single taco and burrito.

two words: DEL SCORCHO
I will eat del scorcho on anything and everything. If Del Taco ever stopped making this sauce, I would cry.
With that said, I love their crinkle french fries, their veggie works burrito and the fact that they carry barq’s root beer!

Not bad. They can be a little stingy on the sauce in the drive thru but overall one of the better del tacos.
