Americas Best Value Inn

Zoe L was right on point. This place needs to be revamped from the floor on up. I just wanted to take a shower, & I couldn’t see myself spending that much for such a crappy joint. If you are going to charge that much for a night… at least make it appealing to see & smell! They get 1 star for at least staying alive.

Gross! One light bulb is burnt out. Heater/​ac is crammed packed full of dust and dirt to the brim. Carpet is ripped up along one of the walls. Couch is torn up and has stains on it and is slimy to the touch. I was looking for my hat when I pulled the mattress back and there’s a used condom behind the head board along the wall. The bathroom walls are nasty. The phone doesn’t work. This place is vial. Not worth $ 55. More like $ 25 if that! All the staff were nice though including the cleaning ladies who probably don’t get paid enough to actually clean. This one kid working nights at the front desk said he didnt have any change for the laundry. I had to go to two stores to make change. I come back to ask him where the laundry room is. He said second floor. I went there and both the industrial doors were locked i guess because of night time. I’m thinking wrong floor so i go to the first floor. The industrial door was locked also. This kid who has the easiest job in the world just sitting behind a desk watching TV in the lobby didn’t even know or have the common decency to inform me that the laundry room was closed when he knew that’s where I was headed. It’s 9 at night. The main problem is the owners have let this place go. Everything is falling apart. I can understand they probably don’t get much business because it’s pretty much empty here but you can’t charge $ 55 for nothing. Wifi wasn’t working when I arrived but I called the front desk and they reset the router. Only stay here if you need a place to bring a prostitute, smoke crystal meth, hide out from the law, or blow your brains out with a shot gun.
