LongHorn Steakhouse is similar to other chain steakhouse restaurants you are familiar with already. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken, with roasted whole carrots and a side Caesar salad. I also ordered a Yuengling draft beer to go with it. My beer was served along with a cutting board with half a loaf of bread and butter, which was nice because nowadays many restaurants charge you for bread. My salad followed shortly, and before long my chicken and carrots were served as well. The carrots could have been a little fresher, but they tasted good none the less. The chicken was juicy and very flavorful with the parmesan cheese. You can get this dish with either one piece of chicken or two, and I should have only gotten one but I managed to wolf it all down. With the large beer and the larger portion of food plus a tip, I think I paid about $ 24. If I’m really hungry again for that much food I would definitely go back to LongHorn Steakhouse.

The wait time didn’t bother me what was wrong was the quality of food I asked for medium well an I got half rare an half done an I asked for rice an the rice was hard an not cooked. I feel the price I paid was not worth it an compare food an service to dennys. Maybe once in a blue moon I’ll consider coming back with my family

Came here in Sunday night for dinner. We ordered 2 steaks and the steaks came out perfectly. I did order a side of mashed potatoes and they forgot to bring it out with the food, but it came out shortly afterwards. Overall, great food and service.

Ate here tonight with a gift card. Hadn’t been to a Longhorn in over a year, but remembered decent dining experiences, particularly with another location a few more miles down the road. Waited about 25 minutes(probably standard for a Friday night.) First disappointment-the homemade chips with bbq/ranch dip appetizer is off the menu and apparently has been for some time. We moved on to ordering dinner. Salad was a big disappointment. Iceberg lettuce with perhaps 2 shreds(I am not kidding!) of cheese and maybe 1 – 2 small pieces of tomato and cucumber. Steaks and sides were ok, though my husband and I both ordered medium steaks and his was almost well and mine was closer to rare. Biggest disappointment, though, was our waiter, who never noticed that my water glass was empty or that we had finished eating and were awaiting our check(and finally had to ask someone else to get it for us.) Food ok, service not so much.

Ordered steaks medium well came out rare after waiting an hour. The manager Darren refused to come speak to us about the re-fired steaks that then looked like beef jerky. Leaving the sweet server to apologize and send us home hungry. Do not recommend this establishment!

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night, was busy but we were seated right away and didn’t wait long for our food(we were a group of 6). The steak and mashed potatoes were one of the most delicious I have ever had. The staff was friendly. Over all I was definitely impressed and would come back for a steak dinner.

Friday, 6pm and there was no wait. Our waitress Alexandra greeted us with a beautiful smile. She was quick & efficient. We didnt have to ask for anything. The food was great, cooked to perfection, even the extra crispy bacon. You can’t go wrong with Sirloins & Lobster! A manager visited our table and was very pleasant and made sure we were enjoying our meal and had everything that we needed. Overall a terrific experience at this location. We’ll be back!

A solid 3 star place. The steamed broccoli is terrible, highly recommend skipping that. Steaks are fine, service is good. Usually have very good soup. Price is a bit high considering the portion sizes. Can always count in a clean and professional environment.

I visited this location on July 4th2015 with a party of 10. Joel P. and John S. were our servers. I ordered the ribeye. The menu stated it was 11oz, so when one of the servers as if I wanted an 8oz or 12oz I was confused and asked him if I had indeed ordered the ribeye. He stated yes so I went with it believing he works there, he should know the menu, but I was wrong. When our dinners arrived I was given a prime rib. I told the same waiter I had ordered the ribeye, he proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and I had ordered the prime rib. I looked at him in shock. I just really couldn’t believe we were going back in forth about what I’d ordered. Finally he stated, well do you want the ribeye then, I said yes and about 10 minutes later a man with gloves on delivered my meal. A manager never came by to check on us or apologize for the mistake. After dinner my husband and I went to watch fireworks, but we had to leave early because I became ill. The whole night and next day I was stuck in the bathroom. I am active duty army and was on leave, but unfortunately I had to spend my last day on leave in the bathroom instead of with my family. I contacted guest relations on July 5th and received a response on July 7th stating a manger would contact me by the 10th. What a surprise, I haven’t heard from anyone. After spending $ 250.00 at this establishment I’m appealed at the lack of customer service you’ve provide. I don’t care if I spent $ 10. If anyone had an experience like this a manager should have contacted them immediately! UPDATE: I have filed a forborne illness complaint with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. UPDATE: I heard from LongHorn and am being mailed a $ 100 gift card. They also filed a complaint on my behalf for any medical visits/expenses I incurred.

Customer service is great! I had a very pleasant experience here today. Everything we ordered came out perfect! For our appetizer we got the crab dip. SOOOOOYUMMY! My boyfriend got the Parmesan crusted chicken came out perfect!!! I got the cheese pasta add shrimp and lobster. Before the meal came out the manager said that they ran out of lobster, yes I was a little bummed but I kept my meal the same. Once my meal came out it looked and tasted great. The manager came over and let me know that he added extra shrimp and didn’t charge me extra. He took off the add shrimp charge all together. I wouldn’t have minded the extra shrimp keep the charge but that he went and did that was so nice and very appreciated. That is great customer service!

What can I say. The wait was horrible but our waiter make up for the time lost. Ryan did an awesome job taking care of our party of 10 people with extreme detail. I never need to ask for a drink and our food came out faster than expected. The food of course was amazing(taste the Outlaw!). On a bad note, pleaseeee Hostesses, they either need a customer service class or anger management class because you were at your worst last night. I understand that the place was packed but come one don’t treat the customers like numbers. Just don’t. Trish the manager was really nice to speak with and a really down to earth manager. Again keep up the good work and take the negative just a an learning experience.

Food is pretty good and the service from the waiter was excellent. The frustrating part is there was a 30 – 45 minute wait for two people and there were 6 tables visibly empty. Now I understand they probably understaffed for the night and didn’t have anyone to wait on those tables, but come on how mad do you get waiting looking out at empty tables throughout the restaurant.

Edit. I emailed them as they requested concerning the experience. Never heard back from them. Still have not been back . ONE year later, just talked a group of about 20 out of going there tonight. Crummy customer service will get you that.

Located across from the Sanford Mall, I’ve dined here several times for working lunches. Any of the salads can be customized with your preferred protein, so I usually end up adding Salmon in place of the regular menu item. Fish is cooked well, nice flavor and seasoned appropriately. The spinach salad with feta and strawberries is especially tasty with the salmon added. Caesar is also good. The Steak salad seems to be the table favorite, a nice portion and steak is cooked nicely. Service is always very good, prompt but not intrusive if the server notes that you are in the middle of key talking points.

Not the best first experience… waited to be served a little too long considering it was not that busy and there appeared to be enough staff. By the time my Longhorn Salmon arrived, it was raw on the inside. Then I just wanted to leave. My server, Cat, said she’d be right back with a cup of sweet tea to take — and she never returned. Now, neither will I. The Longhorn @ Waterford Lakes is much better, btw.

Omg I LOVED it! Compared to neighboring restaurants this place is on another level of perfect!!! Our waiter was awesome, our drinks never got less than half way done before he was filling it up again. The bread was yummy and once again he just kept it. coming, the food was very well seasoned and delish! THEBESTMACANDCHEESEWITHBACONEVER! Me and my husband are seriously going to come back and order just the mac and cheese for lunch one day. Its really that good. Amazing experience and great service and great food. Worth every penny and more

The other places in Sanford looked sketchy so opting for a good reliable steak! This Longhorn looks relatively new. What else to say? My longhorn standard is the 7-pepper steak salad, which never disappoints. The steak came out as ordered. The service was good, the mashed potatoes are good. This chain is one step above the Chilis and Friday’s and when I eat chain, I prefer here(sorry, other chains).

This was my first visit to this location. The restaurant seems relatively new, very clean and nicely laid out like all the other LongHorn restaurants. Upon arrival the staff wasn’t super friendly, not that I could remember sticking out in my head. Our waiter was good and friendly and very out going /lively. However, almost too much. I had lunch with my parents and English isn’t their first language. And you can tell this from the first time you speak with them, even ordering drinks. So at times our lively waiter was speaking way too fast for them to understand or comprehend what he was saying. But no biggy, since I was there. Overall, the food was good. The sandwiches were very good and the ribs, my dad enjoyed quite a bit. We’ll be back … hopefully with a not so fast talking waiter.

I attended a CMYE at this LongHorn location and was beyond impressed, so I was looking forward to coming back. Sadly my second trip was not as good as the first. Hubby and I came for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated fairly fast and greeted almost immediately by our server. She was very friendly and bubbly. We ordered our drinks and also decided to start with the Western Cheese Fries. Shortly after, the server brought out complimentary bread and butter. The bread was nice and warm, but unfortunately there was a(eek!) hair in the butter. We flagged down the server to show her. She apologized and said she’d be right back with another. So we waited… and waited. By the time she brought out the new butter, the bread was cold and our cheese fries were just being brought out. So we skipped the bread. And at this point we still didn’t have our drinks. Hubby flagged down the server again to point out that our appetizer was here, but we still hadn’t even gotten our drinks yet. She apologized, saying the bar was backed up and that she would check again. Finally the drinks came. Hubby got a beer, and I got a Strawberry Margarita. It was yummy! It even had a stick with pink rock candy to use as a stirrer which I thought was cute. The cheese fries were pretty good. My only complaint is that they are advertised as being«loaded» with chili, but we barely had any at all on ours. For our entrée we decided to split the regular Ribeye steak. For our two sides we went with a loaded baked pototo and one of their new offerings, Brussels Sprouts Au Gratin. While we waited for the main course, I noticed that things seemed a little chaotic on the floor. Twice we were brought food to our table that wasn’t ours, and we overheard the manager correcting one of the servers on which table was which… he didn’t sound very happy. Granted, it was 1:30 on a Sunday, so I’m sure they were being hit by the large church crowds. When our steak arrived, it was slightly overcooked… we ordered medium rare, but it was closer to a medium. It wasn’t that big of a deal to us, so we opted to just eat it as is. It was delicious — seasoned perfectly. The potato was good, but the brussel sprouts were a little undercooked, causing them to be too hard and crunchy. If they would’ve been cooked all the way, that dish would be a winner to me, as the rest of it was really good… creamy, cheesy sauce topped with crispy bacon and bread crumbs. Even though my second trip here was not as enjoyable as I’d hoped, I’m still willing to give this LongHorn another shot. I’m hoping that they just need to work out a few kinks being new and all. Because of the CMYE that I attended, I know this place has the potential for a 4 or 5 star rating.
