Visiting friends in the area and absolutely cannot leave without stopping here for lunch! Greeted with great personalities the second you walk in the door. If an item is wrong, they take it back and return right back, personally, with the right order and are genuinely apologetic about it! Had the Kids Honey nuggets, Kids tenders, Crispy chicken salad and Grilled Turkey sandwich. Everything was finger licking good! And can’t forget about dessert:(Thank you Kim) Their seasonal Banana shake puts any other shake to shame.

Never heard of PDQ. A great find if you’re looking for fresh food. I had a chicken Caesar Salad and my spouse had a kids meal and added zucchini fries. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to bring our granddaughter here.

I gotta tell ya I think PDQ has the best chicken nuggets and tenders hands down around town. Love love love the made from scratch sauces. Love their fries and Cole slaw. Everything I have had has been very fresh. PDQ team are about the nicest people who really appear to be proud of where they work and what they do. I am so happy they gave Sanford the first one in the area instead of testing the market towards the tourist areas. About time us local Peep’s get a treat. I hope PDQ is around for a long time. ;)

I’m a very objective reviewer. This place is not good. It’s name is ironic. Room temperature food, including the homemade sauces left my whole family feeling rather blah for the ride home. It’s been an hour and nobody is sick yet, but all four of us are feeling woozy. Young kid working the counter was not familiar with menu. Cold and dry fries. Nuggets had a lot of rubbery gristle. Tenders, the flagship of the restaurant, were very bland and had spent a lot of time in a warmer. They were very dry. The blueberry coleslaw is simply coleslaw with blueberries in it. Could tell it wasn’t salted and drained cabbage, just rubbery raw cabbage shredded and sauced with blueberries tossed in. Grilled chicken on grilled chicken salad was several hours old, very dry, very old texture. Again, I’m not a hater. I give objective reviews. Won’t return to this place. If one of us actually gets sick, I’ll be back to drop it to a 1 star.

I’ve never been in here and it not be busy. So they are doing something right. I love the buffalo and blue cheese mixed sauce they have! The cookies are prepackaged and aren’t that great… But I’m guessing you didn’t come to a chicken place for the cookies. I do find that there are a lot of gristly bits in the chicken: I believe they hand cut and bread all of the chicken in store. Could just be negligence on the crew members part. Food pretty good. Not extravagant but better than some of the other fast food options! Sweet tea is weak. But like I mentioned before they have a good amount of delicious sauces. They have some decent milk shakes too. Lobby tends to be a little on the disorderly side– but it’s a pretty busy place so that’s not unexpected. Readers digest version: okay, not great. Not something to write home about. Gristly chicken. Bad sweet tea and cookies. Great sauce. Messy lobby.

I have been to PDQ three times in my life. Maybe 4. Anyways, it’s a very good, fast place, to grab a meal. While I do enjoy the food, and the ketchup is great, the prices are high. It’s like 8 fuckig dollars for four skimpy aśs tenders. That some bullshįt if you ask me. Overall, good place. 3.5÷5

I love this place! The food is so fresh. It is great to have an alternative to greasy, processed food like other fast food chains offer. We are always able to get in and out of here quickly even if we stay and eat. It gives us extra time on a lunch break to enjoy. I usually get the grilled tenders with their homemade buffalo bleu dipping sauce. I leave full and satisfied without wrecking my health :) I love the fries, too. I just always make sure to steal a few from my husband’s combo meal. The restaurant is extremely clean, too.

I think I could become a PDQ addict. Sincerely, I travel for work and food that is fresh, fits in a tough schedule and doesn’t destroy your health is hard to find. If you want all of that and flavor you’re probably out of luck. That’s where these folks come to the rescue! The menu is chock full of healthy options that taste like they shouldn’t be healthy at all! The service is impeccable and the place is almost spotless. It’s so darn dependable and good that it is a no-brainer for me.

I’ll put it this way. PDQ has ruined Chick-Fil-A for me. Chick-Fil-A used to be my go to place until this place opened. Now I eat here 2 – 3 times a week. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Buffalo Bleu sauce is no joke. The Creamy Garlic sauce with their fries are phenomenal as well. Their customer service is top notch and are the only fast food place that repeats the entire order before handing you the food. This is how ALL drive thrus should be done. I hope PDQ succeeds and expands as I can’t enjoy Chick-Fil-A anymore. I also don’t eat any other fast food anymore. So thanks PDQ for ruining fast food for me. You’ve set a standard that others have failed to achieve.

Was just a little on the fence about this place after the grand opening and the first visit. Had a chance to dine at PDQ for a special event today and I found out more about the restaurant. All their food is fresh and nothing is frozen or microwaved. I really love their commitment to serving fresh, non gmo foods. The chicken tenders are double breaded and so delicious. The creamy ranch is perfectly garlicky. My favorite menu item is the blueberry coleslaw, a nice balance of sweet and savory with none of the flavors too overpowering. Their fries are all cut and refrigerated, not frozen like many fast food places, so after cooking they are more like natural potatoes and not ultra crispy like processed fries. I think they have a very good flavor, although they did cool off more rapidly than other places fries. That’s actually a good thing, less processing and more natural flavor is my preference. Happy I was able to come back and see they have stepped up their food and service! Love the house made lemonade and all the dipping sauces. Try the creamy ranch or the buffalo-bleu. Get a giant cookie on the way out!

Moooove over Chic-Fil-A!(Get it? Cows… Moo… Okay never mind) I love their fried turkey sandwich and have had it a few times more than I should. They also give an extremely generous portion of fries. The owner — Adam — is great and if you’re a regular like me he will actually make your food ahead of time so it’s ready when you’re done paying! And to top it off they have green AND black tea unsweetened. So you can feel a little bit better about those extra fries you’re getting ;)

Oh buffalo wing sauce… you are simply divine. Your tangy, spicy, complex flavor is so amazing and perfectly acceptable on everything from chicken to pretzels. So, in the interest of celebrating one of our beloved spices, we’re sharing our favorite buffalo flavors in town, proving that this sauce goes with more than just chicken wings. Don’t wait for football season or «Florida fall» to enjoy some buffalo sauce, go ahead, grab some spicy goodness this summer at PDQ. Located in Sanford, this quick serve restaurant is known for their fresh tenders and are emerging as new player in the fast casual field. We recently ordered their Crispy Chicken Salad with buffalo sauce all served over mixed greens, cucumber, tomato and cheese. If you’re going to eat a salad it might as well be topped with buffalo sauce, right? PDQ is an emerging fast casual concept that’s definitely worth a visit.

I had never heard of PDQ before they opened this one. Each time I drove buy it always looked busy, and I knew I had to try it! We went for lunch at about 12 on Saturday. Place was poppin! Very busy, but our order was taken and our food came out very quickly, and we were able to get a table! For just over $ 16 we got 2 meals, and 2 drinks — everything was absolutely delicious! Chicken was so juicy and you can tell that everything you order is made fresh, even the lettuce and tomato on my chicken sandwich were extremely fresh. All of the staff was very nice — which is always a plus! Will definitely be back! P. S. They have corn hole out front too — how fun?!

So SO excited that PDQ has finally made it to Central Florida! I fell in love with PDQ in Tampa and have always made a point to stop by any time that I’m in town. Now I don’t have to wait until my next trip to Tampa! The service and food at this location is just as great as the Tampa locations. I went after work on the 2nd day they were open and barely had to wait to order or get my food. They had plenty of staff working and and were totally on top of things. I ordered my usual(3 piece tenders meal with fries) but decided to switch it up this time and add the milkshake of the month… a creamsicle shake. OHMYGOODNESS it was tasty! I’m looking forward to many repeat visits. I wish it was closer, but at the same time my wallet and waistline are glad that its not :)

Stumbling across several PDQ’s in the Tampa area and never having a chance to try it… was pretty excited when one was coming to the area. The drive thru experience was awesome. Check out the menu and instead of talking into a speaker to who knows who… you drive up to a window and you are given face to face interaction with the person taking your order. She was very pleasant and helpful. Put the order in… and your total is $ 25… $ 25??? for some(and by some I mean about total 11 total pieces total of all the meals) chicken tenders, 2 small cups of fries, a soft drink, yoo hoo, and milk shake. Goodness… this better be good. Get to the pick up window… another lady is awesome and repeats our order back. Wow, very nice. Get home… First thing that upset me was the box was soggy. From only about a 10 minute drive the box that you put the food in should be able to withhold a short drive. So at this point the fries in the cups were dripping down. And why are the fries in a cup? Now… comparable to lets say Zaxbys, they place their friends in a closed container so that would be more efficient especially being that they put the friends on top of a non sturdy box and then into a flimsy plastic bag. Tenders are super small and skinny, and tasteless. They were easy to chew but that is about it. The sauces were very disappointing as well. The garlic one was blah, the bbq sauce looked like salsa not a sauce, and the one that sounded sweet didn’t look appetizing. The shake was also super thick… who wants to wait 20 minutes to start drinking the drink they ordered as at that point it will actually suck through the straw! I wanted to give this review 1 star, but the employees were awesome so that bumped it up. Disappointed.

Recently I’ve been seeing quite a few PDQs popping up all around town. Looks interesting, sure, let’s give it a shot. Unfortunately, it’s raining, so we decide to hit the drive-thru. The menu is simple, chicken tenders, sandwiches, and salads. They also have some dessert items. Not bad. We pull up to the window and the cashier is very friendly and patient(this was our first time, so it took a while to order). We order a 4-piece tender meal, a piece tender plate, a kids meal, and a vanilla milkshake for me. Our total was just over $ 25, which caught me by surprise considering we were eating chicken tenders, but alright. We reach the pick up window and our entire order was read back to us. That’s a good way to avoid mistakes, I think, well done. The employee hands up our drinks and food and away we go. Finally we get home. Time to enjoy some food… except I didn’t. I found the tenders to be rather bland, minimal taste. They were also rather thin and lanky, especially for what we just paid for them. Now I understand the tenders coming with dipping sauces, but I feel that the sauces should enhance the taste, not provide it. However, the sauces weren’t all that great either. Shame. The fries were ok, but nothing to go crazy about. The best part of the meal was the shake, but even that seemed overpriced for what was received. The only reason this place got 2 stars is because the employees were nice, polite, and friendly. I would not recommend this restaurant, and I will most certainly not be coming back.

This is place is very clean and give you the feeling of freshness on the food and the building. The food is excellent and taste good. If you are into fitness/healthy routine, this is a fast food for you. I loved their blueberry coleslaw. They have REAL fresh squeezed lemonade. The employees, especially the management are very friendly.

This place definitely delivers on its«fresh food, fast» slogan. All food is made to order which is never anything to complain about! I ordered the crispy turkey sandwich which was definitely different to what I’m used to. it was quite enjoyable and I really liked the spicy sauce that came on it. My fiancé ordered the buffalo chicken tender sandwich, which we both agreed was our favorite of the two. The chicken tenders were so fresh and delicious. I suggest going through the drive thru for those who may be hard of hearing as it’s currently a mad house in the restaurant itself since it just recently opened about a week ago. We could hardly hear our order taker over the rest of the customers chatter. I’m sure things will quiet down some once the«opening» Rush dies out. Overall i was very pleasantly surprised and I look forward to future pdq visits :))

Excellent for the area! The food feels fresh. This was opening week so everything was new and clean. The menu is a bit small and overpriced however right next door you have a red robin so pick your poison expensive burgers or expensive salad or chicken. This is definitely a neat place, tried the Oreo shake and it was good it’s more like a icecream than shake since it’s so thick! Overall enjoyed the food and the shake would definitely go again the garlic sauce is amazing!!!

PDQ is finally in the Orlando area! Rejoice! Those in the Tampa area know this is a great addition to the fast food market. I’ve had the grilled chicken sandwich and fried chicken tenders. You can tell how fresh the chicken is the moment you take a bite. The tenders are better, and the honey mustard puts them over the top good. The creamy garlic and BBQ sauces are top notch, to. The fries on my first visit were soggy. But PDQ changed the way they make their fries shortly after opening. After they’re hand cut, they stay refrigerated longer. This helps get them crunchy when they’re cooked. And on my Second visit, they were crunchy, perfect and fresh. Still, the chicken is the star. But the superstar is the shake. I’ve had Heath, Oreo and chocolate peanut butter. Heath is the best but you can’t go wrong with any flavor. The service is outstanding, too. Adam and Marcia are super friendly. It’s a bit of a hike for us, but we’re happy PDQ is here!
