Great service, great food, and fast service! I love their hibachi without sitting socially awkward like an a-hole with people I don’t know. I can order it and they bring it to me and the lovely blonde waitresses brings out my own yum yum sauce I can use to spread all over my food and gorge myself out! This is my favorite hibachi restaurant in all the United States!

Very good sushi for pretty reasonable price. I came here on Valentine’s Day to a very busy restaurant. This place seems to be type where people enjoying dining in and enjoy getting food to go equally. The menu was diverse without being overwhelming. Service was fast and friendly. I reccomend this sushi place to anyone in the area.

Delicious neighborhood sushi bar. The winter roll and Wintergarden roll are amazing. Decidedly nondescript from the outside but don’t let appearances for you it’s what’s inside that counts.

Food was not great… just okay. Service was terrible. I ordered vegetables without mushrooms. When I saw all the mushrooms and commented, I was told, «Just pick them out!»
No one ever asked if we needed anything. We had to ask for drink refills several times. When they forgot our drink and we asked a bus boy, our waiter never apologized. No one was asked if they wanted a second beer!
Since no one asked if we wanted dessert after waiting 20 minutes, we just requested our check.
Our checks were literally just dropped on the table. We never received a «Thank You» or «Come back again.»
Needless to say, we will never go back!

Almost like Kobe without the drama.
Good food, I always get hibachi teriyaki chicken with vegetables. The white sauce is good too.
The place is small & cozy. A great place to go when your in a hurry

Delicious food, good sized serving and very reasonable prices. Only drawback was small dining area was completely filled which made for a claustrophobic eating environment.

Don’t bother. The quality of the sushi was low and the quality of the service even lower. The waitress was frowning at everyone and was very impatient. As a result she received 0 tip and a comment on the receipt. I suspect the 4 star reviews are fake.

I love Yabi. I’ve only ever eaten their tempura sushi rolls; they’ve all been delicious. Donkey Kong Roll and Sanford Roll are my favorites. I usually get takeout; it’s about 15 – 20 min wait time. The service is ok-ish.

You’d never expect this little place to have such good sushi. Seriously the best in town. And their prices are great too! Their lunch special is great too if you’re not into sushi. Give the donkey kong roll a try!

My hubby and I came here for lunch because we heard it was a great place. My husband’s sashimi was partially frozen and my sushi tasted gross. Looking at these reviews, maybe we got it on an off night? I won’t go back, though. I won’t risk it.

This place is always late on to-go orders. Had to wait 25 minutes PAST my pickup time, which was 30 min to begin with. You’ll spend time sitting in their hot dining room with not even an offer of a glass of water. The cheap prices and average quality food aren’t worth the poor service. Better to drive 5 min into Lake Mary and get good sushi there.

Food– 3.5 Star
They are very unwelcoming and very very unconcerned with what happens around them… A child broke a glass bottle and they proceeded to not even come and check on what happened… They simply ignored the incident… No drink refills…
Sushi was ok nothing special, the salmon tasted off and the tuna tasted like NOTHING…
May work best if you order for pick up, if you can’t drive out to another sushi spot…
Next time, I’ll pass

This place is a diamond in the rough. We ordered pick up and the service was fast and by the time we got home the sushi was still super fresh! Great prices too! Definitely my new go-to sushi spot!

Dericious! Small unassuming building, food and service was super awesome. Sushi rolls were about 1 to 1.50 cheaper than other places but had more ingredients and tasted better. Drove a half hour to get there based on Unilocal recommendation and was well worth it.

My husband and I are visiting from out of town and we were looking for a descent place to eat. We found Yabi on Unilocal.I must say, I was a bit leery of eating sushi from a restaurant that looks like a fast food place; however, I was more than happy with the atmosphere inside, quality of food and the prices. The menu was the usual sushi fare but priced quite a bit below what I usually pay. When I received my meal, it was excellent! I recommend this to anyone interested in a good, quality meal.

Looking for good sushi? This place is for you! I’m new to the area, but it seems like we have a ton of sushi places in the Orlando area. I found this place on Unilocal and read some great reviews. Only thing I had left to do was try it for myself. Turns out the rumors were true! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Right now I would definitely recommend the coconut roll… soo good

Every time I come to Sanford this is my first stop. The OMG and Yabi sushi are fantastic.
My friend even ordered New York Strip and said it was good!
The location is small and gets very busy at peak. If you have a large party, I would call ahead. Also, check their hours before you go.

This place has thrown me for a loop — In a good way.
From the outside the restaurant looks very unassuming.
The inside is nothing out of the ordinary but the food …
Out of this world … I eat here multiple times a month, consistent service & quality is ALWAYS the norm.
Well worth a visit & highly recommended!!!
