Went for dinner in the summer with family and friends. Great setting, good service and the food was wonderful!!! Can be pricey for some but all-in-all we had a great dinner experience. Highly recommend

This parking lot is always packed so today we decided to try it for lunch. It’s nice because they have outdoor seating. It’s a very nice setting to sit outdoors. I ordered the hamburger it was cooked perfect and the coleslaw that came with it was excellent. My husband on the other hand ordered the crab cakes, they were kind of soggy and cold. The service was good. I would come back. It’s more of a 3.5 star.

Came here with our large extended family(8) the service was great, kid friendly(9 and 13 years old) and the food was excellent. Had the enchiladas which were unique.

Fantastic meal. Beautiful, tasty and well prepared dishes(mahi mahi and buttermilk chicken). Polite, friendly and efficient staff. I was shocked the Unilocal rating wasn’t higher. We ate here two nights in a row(never happens on vacation).

We had a great dinner seated on their heated deck. Service was excellent, prices reasonable and food was delicious. Try the oysters on the half shell(a bit small but very good). I would recommend the hanger steak or fish tacos.

I really wanted to like this place. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful witha very nice patio. The food however was over priced for what it was. Fish(grouper perhaps! were very bland and @ $ 18(for 2) it was incredibly overpriced. Many great options i n Sanibel so I would avoid this place.

Garden vegetable fettuccini with shrimp is one of the best meals I’ve had on the island. Enchilada Stack is good, but not amazing. Hard to eat logistically.

One of our favorite spots on Sanibel! This is one of the hidden gems of Sanibel and it’s usually easier to get a reservation than some of the other spots on the island. Dog friendly patio! I’ve been coming to Sanibel Island for the past 13 years and decided to go on Unilocal and find a place I’ve never been to before. Thank you Unilocal for recommending this place to me. What a great find. The food was excellent as well as the service. I must say the New England clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had. And Sarah my waitress was sweet, polite, engaging and funny. I will definitely be back there this week.

I think Cip’s is one of the most under-rated restaurants on Sanibel. It’s such a beautiful restaurant and always has wonderful service and delicious food. They have a really lovely patio with outdoor seating(and lots of fans too for when it’s warm out) and it’s set in a smaller shopping area with Ace and Eileen Fischer, so parking isn’t usually a problem. The food is always fantastic — recently I had the catch of the day BLT with mahi and it was really yummy and the fish was excellent. I always suggest Cips!

This place is a strange juxtaposition of a café and a fancier restaurant. The food is pretty good and the service was alright as well. The triple tail special was really, really good with a sweet sauce that paired excellently with the blackened fish. Everything else was pretty good, but not spectacular.

Pretty decent food, good service and a lovely atmosphere — pretty hard to go wrong with this place, although nothing really stands out too much. I like the cute lighthouse-themed interior but really, the patio is the place to sit. The food is plentiful and the fries fantastic, my BBQ ribs were good if a bit dry, and my companion’s burger was fine but again not particularly mind blowing. Lovely coleslaw though.

Great place for a leisurely lunch on a beautiful day. Nice selections on the menu, we opted for comfort food. The sloppy Joe was tasty, with a vinegar based cole slaw. The service was very good, the server checked in regularly to keep our glasses full. She was attentive and friendly, we never felt rushed. Finally found a good key lime pie, creamy and a little tart. Much better than the frozen, tasteless stuff we found at other restaurants.

We decided to go to CIPS for my mother in law’s birthday. the overall experience was excellent. When we called for last minute reservations, they were extremely accommodating to get us on the front porch and under a heat lamp. The server was nice and the food delicious. In our party we had: grouper tacos, BBQ shrimp, ribeye steak with a Cabernet demiglas, chicken Caesar salad, and scallops with alfredo pasta. The scallops were done perfectly. The ribeye steak was cooked to order and the sauce was excellent albeit slightly salty. The only blemish in the dinner was that they forgot to bring out the barbecue shrimp with the rest of the dinners. However, the waitress offered a free cup of soup as an apology for this oversight. We would definitely come back here, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely.
