A restaurant in a grocery store — interesting concept. Ate there twice — eggs Benedict were good, grilled chicken sandwich was average, crunchy grouper sandwich was very good. A bit pricey but everything on the island seems to cost more. Service was good one time, only average the second time.

After years of visiting Sanibel Island, we finally stopped in to Jerry’s.
The entrance to the market itself is very interesting with a outdoor courtyard filled with many large, beautiful tropical birds in cages.
Birds in cages aside, Jerry knows what’s up when it comes to food!
Super delicious freshly baked goods in his bakery area. We opted to pickup a few homemade cookies for our super long road trip back to Toronto which were coconut chocolate chip, peanut butter, ginger, and M&M. All were totally delish.
We also only wanted to purchase one croissant (I know we are those people) and the gentleman in the bakery was kind enough to open a box of four for us to pick one out of as he had run out of singles. Thank you, kind sir.
Nice selection of unique gourmet foods with a good sized produce area and awesome choices for local craft beer to go.
We will be back for sure next time we are on the Island. See ya soon, Jerry!

Jerry’s and the attached plaza are great places to visit upon checking in to Sanibel for the week. The grocery store is kind of pricey, but to be expected on the island of Sanibel.
I have been coming to this plaza since I was a small child and this is still a fun place as an adult. The parrots are the best part of visiting Jerry’s. They laugh and some even chatter a bit. One of the parrots will even mimic your laugh if you are lucky.
Before you go into Jerry’s, I recommend browsing in the souvenir shops and picking up some postcards.
This plaza is a must for those visiting Sanibel Island!

We shop at Jerry’s whenever we go to Sanibel. Their key lime pie is one of the best I’ve eaten. I love the pick up system underneath the store. It’s so convenient.
We also had lunch in their café and it was very tasty. I had the grouper sandwich.

Jerry’s Restaurant is connected to Jerry’s Market. The restaurant has relatively inexpensive but tasty food. I had the fish tacos that were really good for being only $ 9.

Jerry’s has been a great way to accommodate a gluten-​free diet. Although more expensive than your mainland stores, they offered quite a variety of items, comfort foods and snacks to make vacationing that much easier. The service is always impeccable & love picking up my groceries downstairs drive up!

High priced but enough food to accommodate anyone. Fresh baked goods and more vegan options than my local grocer. Kids love to see the parrots outside. It’s a grocery store, what else do you want?

Prices are a bit higher than your usual grocery store, but you probably could’ve guessed that. They have just about everything you could need here — just like your regular grocery stores do back at home. If you’re buying a lot, they have this weird chute system that shuttles your purchases down, where you then drive around and pick them up. Keeps the carts out of the lot, I guess. Decent beer selection.
On our last day, I decided to grill up some burgers. Bought 4 from the meat department, then went to the deli for 4 slices of cheese. The lady gave me an eye-​roll, then proceeded to cut the thickest four slices of all time. It came out to nearly half a pound of cheese, in four slices. I had to laugh at that scam.

Coolest grocery store on the island. As you walk through the atrium to the store, you’ll walk through a garden, complete with tropical birds. We didn’t dine here, but stopped in for all our grocery needs. Good place to shop for deli meats (they’ll even prepare a sandwich for you!), great selection and great bakery. Don’t miss their genuine key lime pie (complete with the sign of pi on top!) It is quite possibly the best key lime pie you’ve ever eaten!

They deliver groceries to Captiva for a reasonable rate of $ 25. The berries I got were moldy which was disappointing but they got me my food order very quickly (less than 48Hours!!). Overall I was extremely satisfied.

Don’t be fooled by the restaurant tucked into the grocery store. This is a great breakfast place that is reasonably priced for Sanibel. The chunky cinnamon French toast is amazing. It’s made with bread baked fresh in the store. The coffee is a step up from typical diner coffee and the service is friendly.

Excellent store to stock up on basics when I get tired of expensive restaurant bills with subpar service and food. Key lime pie is the best. Love the fresh produce, deli and bakery products.

Came for breakfast. Shared an omelette with my wife. Service was very good and the prices were surprisingly low. Too bad the omelette wasn’t better; it could have been light and fluffy, instead it was overdone and chewy. I’ll come back just not for an omelette.

This place is inside Jerry’s grocery store, there are floor-​to-​ceiling windows so you can enjoy the tropical flora outside. Really nice way to start the day off. There are even in parrots and cockatiels (caged) in the courtyard before you enter the store.
Good breakfast food (I came here three times for breakfast), slow, nonexistent service in a pretty bright and airy space. Tables and booth seats aren’t always properly wiped down but its probably bc they’re so busy and like to sit a table as soon as its empty. I’ve only had the breakfast menu but everything is pretty solid. The croissant sandwich (with sausage or bacon) stood out, eggs Benedict was a popular dish, and the OJ was good.

Good food. Good service. Thank you Cathy! I would recommend this place for breakfast & brunch anytime. Went to over easy café the day before and we didn’t like it at all! So here you get real fresh food, friendly staff and a Diner like location surrounded by lush greens. Kids friendly (they’ll get crayons and paper).
I would return.

Nice find and a neat, unique concept… A sit down, table service restaurant inside of a grocery store!
We stopped for breakfast while riding our bikes on the island. Surrounded by lots of tropical plants and Windows galore! Several tropical birds in cages as you walk in to exchange a quick ‘hello’ with :-)
Service… Quick and friendly
Food… Egg scrambler with Swiss, ham and spinach on a croissant was delicious combination
Decent coffee (they leave a little carafe for you on the table, which is nice)
… And, we get to pick up some groceries on the way out!

Jerry’s Foods is okay. I really thought it would have more. It is a grocery store with a little restaurant café inside. You park in the covered garage which is nice to avoid the hot sun and the crazy rain. You can not bring the carts up and down the stairs but they have a service where they bring your cart down, and there is someone there for you to pick it up in your car. They do not want you to tip also
They have some ready made foods like Rotiserrie chicken and the sides, but aside from that, it is the usual grocery stuff. I thought it was going to be like a Whole Foods where they had more foods to eat and go, but it is not.
