El Pollo Loco

This place is horrible place to eat… not clean and the customer service is horrible… not polite and don’t get orders right… not happy at this place… I don’t recommend it to any one…

Surprisingly nice! Looks like normal Pollo Loco from the outside and you walk and and think, wow, this is the cleanest Pollo Loco I’ve ever seen. Booths are really nice, everything from walls, to floors and lamps, to bathrooms are look new, freshly painted and well. maintained The lady walking around with a tray of mints and hand wipes put it over the top and I had to review it. Struggled with stars, cant give 5 to fast food can you? 4 stars,.but in context of fast food restaraunts or other Pollo Loco ‘s it would be 5 stars

okay i’ve got a mixed review here…
me and my boyfriend went there 20 mins ago and we are both currently fighting for the bathroom.
other than that^^^ the interior looked amazing and clean! associates were also very friendly and the food was delicious! but it doesn’t feel good coming out 20 mins later!

Fast and clean service … Wish the ckn salads had more chicken and the salsa bar was bigger these people get buckets of salsa while people wait to get one small scope …

Absolutely not good. Loco. They are not all the same. Every time I go out to chicken is fresh as well as a salad. The only negative comment I would have is that they advertise that they deliver but when we inquire about it turns out they don’t.

One of the best El Pollo Loco locations I’ve ate at, I’ll definitely be coming back. If you want to try something new their quesadillas are to die for. Happy eating!

Food was good but the customer service sucked ass the lady at the register gave attitude to us when we asked about the portions and then when we sat and they brought out the food the lady didn’t think that was our order even when I had the number in my hand then she smiled and said «oh I thought it was for them» pointing to another table but whatever I hope I get better service next time around

It’s ok here. Just a bit small and can get packed! And there’s no drive thru here.
Small parking area as well. You may have to park on the street if it gets too crowded.
Other than that the food is decent and as well as their salsas.

Although we have used this El Pollo for a dinner take-​out, this is the first time we tried them for catering. Bad experience from the beginning…
I called and had ask questions about the menu, since there are no prices for the on-​line menu. I was told that I needed to give them a 2 hour window.
When I called to place my order, I had to speak to the Manager… but it was very, very noicey and I even called back to see if it was the phone connection. (it was just store noise)
It was a lengthy call… it seemed pretty complicated. But I told them I would pick the order up.
My husband offered to pick up on the way home and it would be 15 mins. early, I called to let them know. I CALLED 5 TIMES, but nobody picked up the phone!
When I did get through, they didn’t have my order!!!
My husband had to reorder the entire order again when he got there. and the manager — was treating him like he was a total inconvenience!!! REALLY?

Came by to pick up some dinner for the family.
The ladies at the register are great. Very friendly, sweet, welcoming, just all-​around awesome. The place was kept pretty clean as well.

I looove El Pollo Loco’s food, especially their chicken. I could live off of their chicken dipped in creamy cilantro dressing. I particularly like this location because they take your order fast and then bring it to your table. The staff are very friendly and will fetch you whatever you need. A couple of times, they even walked around offering all the goodies they keep in those big round trays such as those little hand wipes. They layout is a little weird because the area that you order in is very small and crowded. It’s a little difficult to fill up the drinks and load up on the sauces and condiments. Other than that, it’s a great El Pollo. My co-​worker and I go there often and choose this one over another that is closer.

Friendly staff, they bring your order to your table. Oh, they frequently hand out coupons at the register too! At lunchtime this EPL is the way to go if you want to avoid the frustration of the inefficiency of other area EPL’s. They get the food out to you super quick.

I’ve been coming here for lunch waaay too often. 8 times in the last two weeks I think. And the lady at the register says hi jennie! when I come in now. She thinks I’m chicken obsessed. Embarrassing! I can’t help myself its soo close to my work AND its on the way to my bf’s so i can have lunch with him and then go back to work. Can never get sick of it.
There’s no drive thru unfortunately and parking is in the rear and is also one way. Every now and then someone kooky pops out of the alley but that’s santa ana. My usual order (and she remembers it too) is a #2 which is a leg and thigh combo + 2 sides (mashed potatoes both) + a drink + 2 flour tortillas. El pollo bowl for the bf. I usually only eat one thigh and a side and my bf finishes the rest. The other sides don’t appear very appealing to me. The mac & cheese is too mushy. The french fries are not that good bc they use the same fryer for everything and I can taste it. The service here is very fast. which is good bc it gets pretty crowded during lunch time. By the time I finish getting the sauces and soda, the order is ready! The jalapenos here is bombdiggity. Sometimes, they’re not spicy at all and just taste like cucumbers. But on a good day, wow! Its soo spicy. I get about 6 of those. Burns my mouth. Love Love Love :)) And for only $ 11, that’s an awesome lunch!

bad luck I guess… took a chance on trying the carnitas chicken they keep advertising don’t bother really not that good, really chewy.
asked for a 2 piece plate for my bro and when I got it home the wing was the size of one piece of chicken popcorn, fries were nasty, nothing went great for this night at «the crazy chicken»…
the place is kept clean, that’s the only plus
