Juan Pollo

Called in an order today at 12:40 and it took them until 1:30 to be ready!!! Good food but they said it would be ready in 10 minutes… Didn’t get to eat because my lunch was over by then.

Service is quick and the food is tasty they always make sure to get your order right the first time

Good chicken I think best in town. Have a great deal on Tuesdays 2 whole chickens for $ 14.99. Way better than their family packs. No wait, in and out In less than 5 minutes.

DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN SALAD! You will b VERY disappointed! It was only half a breast IF THAT! And was so hard to chew! Tasted so so bad! The entire plate was just a bunch of shredded lettuce that tasted awful! After a hard days work I stopped by to get some dinner! I ended up w a HORRIBLE mess at home! We drive out to El Pollo Loco instead!!(: NEVER GOING BACK again,
Also a message to the owner! You might want to consider hiring friendly and upbeat people to work there, lady ringing me up was very uptight and rude!

There Pollo is a lot better than Pollo Loco and there potato salad is really good and there hot salsa is made fresh… talking about this is making me hungry just go you’ll be very happy I go every time we throw a party and get the package deal with 6 chickens and rice and salad and salsas perfect

Been going here for years and i also buy for my clients and they all LOVE there food.
If you are having a party this is a great place to buy from, they have great prices for catering.
The girls that work here are super sweet and always have a great smile. I hope the owner pays them well as they deserve it!!! Everything here is tasty, The Chicken, potato salad, rice and beans all are done with much love… :)

Ugh, this place was filthy.
The owner was using a dingy, wripped towel to clean off surfaces. The place smelled like fish and the ice tea tasted like Raid.
Food was horrible and had no flavor… worst meal ever!
Looks like someone needs to call the health inspector on this place?
I hope I don’t get food poisoning?

Chicken here is way better than Pollo loco, just a little to salty for me, however the family enjoyed it. I did like the rice.
I do need to point out, a few days later I was looking at my online bank account and noticed that they slid my card twice, I had a first transaction for $ 32.46 on 10−05−15, and a pending transaction for 10−06−15 for the same amount, I have only been there once.
I had to call my bank and file a claim. This is the reason for 2 stars. If it weren’t for the double charge and a family meal being charged $ 65 bucks, I would have given end 4 stars.

Updating my review, since I haven’t been here in a while… Not because I don’t want to, but the location is just not as convenient as it used to be for us.
The service is still great, the food is still great.

If you love chicken this is the spot right here! Best chicken in town. The skin here is marinated and tastes as though the gods themselves grilled it for you. Once you get past the skin you are hit a second time by the juiciest chicken you have ever seen. Pollo loco and Pollo Norteño ain’t got nothing on this place. Try it and see for yourself it will have you coming back for more. The rice also has chunks of chicken in it too!

The food is okay but what’s horrible are the sporks they use. You basically have to bring your own silverware otherwise you’ll have a difficult time eating.

What a find! Love this place. Just passing through town and Unilocaled for something good. My wife said Turn around and go to Juan Pollo. 4 stars and I was hungry, so I did as she said.
Guys, it sometimes pays to listen to your wife! Lol

Chicken done right in here. This is much better than its much bigger national brand competitor.
I always get the same thing and they nail it every time.
The all white meat chicken plate, flour tortillas, potato salad and rice. I kid you not the rice and potato salad are off the hook good. The chicken is always juicy, flavorful and perfectly cook.
I’ll end this review with YUM. FYI all the other locations of this chain are equally as good.

I’m unsure if my subconscious was trying to sabotage me by allowing me to join a gym that has a Juan Pollo in the same strip mall, but never the less I am a happy camper. My wife and I couldn’t resist coming in here after our workout the other day. I’ve always loved Juan Pollo’s rotisserie chicken, but it has always been take out. This was our first time eating in store. The chicken came out piping hot and juicy and the skin was amazingly crispy. This was hands down the most amazing Juan Pollo meal ever.

So freaking good!!! I grew up eating it, at other location, but never ate it in the store. This time after a great workout in my gym next door, decided that I needed to eat now. So we decided to take a seat, share a whole chicken, with hot salsa, and flour tortillas. Let me start by saying that of all the times I’ve had JP, the skin has never been crispy. Maybe this location makes the skin nice and crispy or taking this to go has been the reason it hasn’t never been crispy. Chicken is so flavorful and juicy. I could eat this stuff daily, seriously. Also the hot salsa is so yummy, it’s not hot but the flavor is there

So seriously if you never had Juan Pollo, you don’t know what you are missing out. And if you like El pollo loco then for sure you will love Juan Pollo. The chicken here are nice big, and juicy. Their chicken skin is crispy always made to perfection. Their rice is so delicious because its not just your normal rice, they add bits of chicken and green onion into it. Also their potato salad is BOMB! You can’t go wrong with Juan Pollo. They have expanded and there are many more locations but still I don’t think they are big enough.
So this location is pretty cool, great lunch special and its not too busy. I love there prices cause its not over price and the portion are huge.
So yes this place is a must and once you try Juan Pollo you will never go back to El Pollo Loco!

Juan Pollo is a rotisserie style chicken place. The best way I could give you is comparing it to El Pollo Loco (EPL)
Juan Pollo
— Focuses on chicken, unlike EPL which has chicken, carnitas, tamales and other items
— Cheaper than EPL
— Has sides which taste more homemade
— Adds chicken to their rice, making it a meal in itself
— More generous with the tortillas. EPL gives only 2 per order.
If you’re having a party, they have great deals and their food feeds a lot of people. Getting more bang for your buck, so to speak. But as for taste? I’m still leaning towards the Crazy Chicken. I like the citrus taste of EPL over the rotisserie seasoned chicken at Juan.

Update. Ok. They redeemed themselves. Instead of trashing two chickens and forgetting, I call them and they explained that one of the batter & mixing equipment malfunctioned. They fixed it and the chicken is juicy and crispy the way I remember it. No wonder why it’s so popular with firemen, deputies, and motor units. So, last night’s review was one off malfunction that can happen to the best restaurants.
