I came to the outlets for a meeting. While waiting in line the manager Froilin could barely smile or acknowledge me. I asked questions about the menu which he could not answer. The sad part is that he was a manager. I went to the other cashier who was more friendly. His whole attitude or demeanor of do t care don’t want to be here got me not wanting to be there. Btw. The portions for $ 12 meal are ridiculous small. I will go to a regular taqueria and get better portion for fraction of the cost.

We have changed our Friday lunch break to a different Rubios location, so it was nice to visit this one since we used to spend so much time here. What a surprise! Everything except the service and the food has changed! It was like going to visit your grandparents and realizing they had remodeled their house without telling anyone! Familiar in shape but the colors are all wrong and the furniture is totally different! I still love the food and the staff, but just like that imaginary grandparents house, I wish they had just left everything alone, because I really liked it the way it was. Maybe it’s just nostalgia, and maybe that’s just me. But the food is still great, and the service can’t be beat. No love lost, Rubios!

+ Friendly service + Their sauces are great +/-Seating can fill up FAST on Taco Tuesday +/-Service can be SLOW on Taco Tuesday There’s not much to say about this place, but pretty much to go with my cliffs I pointed out above. The service is friendly, and greets you on your way in. The food is decent, and sauces are great. Just know, if you come here on Taco Tuesday. you’ll have people ordering maybe, 10 – 20 tacos and if you’re behind that person. learn to meditate and breathe. :) This place could try to maybe put a little more effort in trying to keep clean though. There’s chairs/tables out in the patio that sometimes are dirty and need to be wiped down. The inside tables need attention too, but not as much as the outdoors. Overall, cool place to come eat with some company.

I come here pretty often. I work here at the outlets and have minimal choices for a healthy meal. When I do come I usually get the California bowl, which gives a few slivers of steak with the green sauce, even though several times they have given red sauce. It’s kind of a crap shoot if I get what I actually ordered. They have raspberry fuze tea on tap which is usually my choice of beverage. Salsa bar is good and I usually mix cilantro and onions with green salsa which is the best tasting in my opinion. With that being said, the Manager Sarah is a sweetheart and is always nice when I come in. Nothing other than good customer service. However the manager Froilin(spelling?) has never given good customer service. In fact the only reason I felt compelled to write this was because of my interaction with him today. When I finally got up to order, it was busy, he started to take my order and then just turns around and starts doing another task, before I was done ordering! He finishes what he obviously felt was more important than taking my order, then turns around annoyed like I was bothering him. Doesn’t say a word, doesn’t hand me the cup I ordered, and acted like I, the customer, was a burden to him. Pretty freakin ridiculous. So in closing, see Sarah if you have to order. If you see Froilin be prepared to be disappointed.

Rubio’s is a regular lunch spot during the week. Like all Rubio’s, the food is good and made to order. But the way this place is run leaves a lot to be desired. We come here a lot right during the lunch rush. It’s not unusual to find a long line that’s right at or even far past the door. So, why does Rubio’s insist on having only one cashier on hand for the lunch rush? Week after week, there’s usually only a single cashier dealing with a crush of customers(occasionally there will be a second cashier, like last week). Fortunately, they don’t take the overwork out on the customers and are very friendly and accurate. Once you get through the long line to place your order with the lone cashier, you have to wait forever for your food. It’s ridiculous, really. A lot of people work nearby, and they can’t afford 15 minutes in line and another 10 minutes of waiting for food, along with another 15 to properly chew and enjoy it. Fresh food takes time to prepare, and I’m fine waiting a little extra for that, but making people stand in a long line to order is ridiculous. There are three registers, and I have seen all three staffed maybe twice. That said, the staff is very friendly and it’s pretty clear there just aren’t enough to go around. The restaurant is also really clean and the condiments area is always put together. Eating here is great, once you get the food!

The only time I go to Rubios is for Taco Tuesday or when I have a coupon! This is the best tasting Rubios I’ve been too! I’ve been to the location in Anaheim on Euclid and also the one on Katella and they both sucked. The fish tacos here are amazing and BIG! I only go here for that! If you want fish tacos, best place to go to!

I came in for lunch as my son skated at Vans. The place is very clean and the cashier was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. I was not too happy about the beans. Everything else was great. There is seating inside and outside. Great atmosphere and great place. The prices are reasonable for the food they serve. I am a fan and I will be back!

I love to order their shrimp quesadilla which may or may not be on the menu. I specifically ask for it with the guacamole and salsa fresca on the inside of the quesadilla to make it that much more delicious :) This Rubio’s location has by far the best salsa verde. Whoever makes it put in extra like I think. It’s $ 9.71, tax included, for the quesadilla and some chips. A little pricey but not too bad for a seafood item. Overall, I really like this place to eat at The Outlets of Orange if you’re not looking to spend too much :) They also serve alcohol like beer and sangria if you enjoy that. Limes are available at the salsa bar to go with your Corona :)

This location is in the Outlets at Orange. I thought it was just ok. The space where ordering/paying is done is pretty tight, so as it gets crowded on weekends, it’s hard to find a proper place to stand when lining up to order/pay. There is indoor and outdoor seating, again, during busy periods you may have a hard time finding seating and some of the outdoor seating is tightly spaced making it hard to squeeze in. If you eat in, they will bring your food to your table, it took a little while but that’s probably because they’re making it fresh. I had the Fish Tacos and Chicken Nachos. I think taste was ok, nothing amazing. You get a good amount of food so you will be full. Price is just ok. I enjoy the salsa bar where there are many types of salsas and fixings that you can get for yourself. If you’re in the mood for Mexican food and it seems Seafood is the specialty, you can check this place out. It’s fast-food style, ok tasting, nothing terrible, nothing amazing.

the deals for fish tacos on Tuesday is insane! 1.62 for a pretty decent sized orginal fish taco haha. The fish is really well done as it tastes bomb! This place is one of those places for a quick meal before the gym in my opinion. So give this place a try as your pre workout meal or just eat here in general. I recommend ordering at least 3 fish tacos at once to be satisfied.

Only come through on Tuesday because the pricing for fish tacos is ridiculously cheap and they come in big portions. Guarantee to fill you up. Regular days the place can get pricey but the taste is still very good. The service is really friendly. I had a question concerning their«street tacos» and they were kind enough to answer it for me thoroughly. Good stuff to know. Again, come through on Tuesday because I believe its about a dollar and some change for some fish tacos. PS I also see that they sell Coronas(not that I drink) lol. Lots of outdoor seatings and indoor seatings as well. You think it would get packed however, but more than not I have been able to find a seat.
