Went in on a Tuesday at 6 pm for my free birthday e-club meal. Chicken taco salad tostada was terrific. Service was excellent like most El Torito’s, waiter was friendly, waiter’s helpers did a good job likewise, chips refills and tea refills. I think for the price El Torito has good selection, price and quality. Some say it’s not authentic, I’m not a good judge for knowing.

The last time I ate at this location there was long hairs inside of my enchilada. I was super excited for the enchilada plate. I cut it open and seen the hair and pulled it out. It was gross. It would have been awkward telling the waiter had he not walked by at that exact second. He told us he would have our meal paid for, we just said she wanted a new plate, even though I was a little uneasy. The manager came to our table, kneeled down and talked to us like we were children and lying. She claimed that women werent allowed in the kitchen and the men wear hair nets. The whole experience was just horrifying. I’ll never go there again. Hair inside my enchilada. It was all mixed it not as if it had fallen after it was plated. Gross! I would not suggest this place!

This is definitely my least favorite El Torito to go to. My boyfriend and I went to Taco Tuesday later in the evening and it wasn’t too busy; we found a table in the worst part of the restaurant, right by the patio I believe so we could feel the weather but that wasn’t too bad compared to the rest of experience. It took a hostess longer than it should have to direct us to the area we were supposed to go to and I wasn’t sure if they were still honoring Taco Tuesday at 8 when we had arrived, after that, it was so hard to get the server’s attention so we could order anything. She eventually came and took our drink orders then left for another while, mind you that we are literally next to the bar therefore I don’t think it was supposed to take as long as it did. At this point, we are hungry, she drops our drinks off and takes our taco orders then eventually comes back to give us the receipt to bring to get our tacos, everything was ok after that but we were looking to order more and she was nowhere to be found so we waited a little longer and she went past our table, straight to the POS, assuming(bad move) she’d turn around and get to us, she and a few other waitresses were idly standing around the POS while my boyfriend is trying to get her attention. Eventually we got the check but of course that took a while to get picked up and settled. Needless to say, this was not a pleasant experience which is unfortunate because their tacos are pretty good, too bad their service is always lacking.

Was my first time at this location and let just say our server Claudia was wonderful. As busy as they can be for brunch she was very attentive and friendly. The food was so good, I will definitely go back. Also Veronica the manager was also super sweet.

Don’t ever go to this place after 8:00 pm !!! Cause before you finish your dinner all the cleaning people are vacuuming and the bad smell is all over the place, really bad, they could wait for people to finish eating !!! Not going back this late, specially because the price still the same, really bad experience and bad management.

Great food and great drinks. I visit Anaheim once a year for a week and this is always on the must-do list. This year we went a total of 3 times. Their Cadillac margarita is one of the best. Definitely something you must try! Food portions are huge, so bring an appetite. I highly recommend the table-side guacamole too. Expect to shell out around $ 20/person. Service has always been friendly and fast!

The Pork Colorado(red sauce) was awesome! We came here after our final shift working Critical Care at UCI… since it literally is right across the street. So, not really my type of spot but it was close and group friendly. The food actually was really good-totally took me by surprise. I mean for a chain restaurant I was super happy with it. The guacamole was super good too. And the little cornbread thing that comes with the meal was tasty and addictive… they should make that an appetizer ‘cuz I would order it. The waiter was awful which is why I take away one star, but we did have a big group of 12. I can’t believe I am saying this but I would come back here! Haha

What a stark contrast to my last experience at this facility. The food was great. The fajitas were well prepared, displayed well, and even had a little fire show with them. The meat was well seasoned, shrimp not over cooked, and our waiter, Alex was attentive and did a fantastic job of making sure we had what we needed throughout the entire meal. the manager stopped by to check in, and everything was clean and well kept. This is a compete 180 from my last experience. Great job El Torito. Even the restroom was well kept and clean.

My friend and I went to brunch last Sunday at El Torito Grill for the first time and our experience was fantastic. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We quickly received our glass filled with mimosas and it was refilled each time the glass was emptied. Food was in abundance and there was a variety to choose from, chicken, beef, ribs, steak, enchiladas, fruits, desserts, etc. There was even a menudo station, omelet station, taco station, seafood station, waffle station, and countless others. The food was fresh and replenished quickly. Go and try it yourself. You won’t regret it.

This last visit definitely will have me coming back. El Torito, I have no clue what you did, but your staff is definitely great! After my horrible experience at El Torito, not too long ago, someone from corporate reached out to me and apologized for my awful experience. She asked me to try them out again, and I am so glad I did give them another chance. We sat the bar and received the most wonderful service from Kelly T! I usually never keep receipts from restaurants, but I made sure to take this one home so I could recognize their employee. Kelly was amazing! She was made sure our table had complimentary chips and salsa and our drinks and even after ordering our meal, she made sure that everything was ok. Thank you, El Torito for giving such great service this time around.

Disappointing experience. The lunch buffet was sad and not well maintained. Food not hot, poor limited selection and choices not replenished. Meat selection for tacos were dried out, as well as the rice. Service was lacking, only positive was the friendly hostess.

First things first, we were seated right away. It took about 5 to 10 mins before we even ordered our drinks, which my husband asked about specific beverage and Jose G. said coming up. He didn’t describe it the beverage to him. He just brought it to him. He didn’t even order it and said it tasted weird. We ordered our food. I asked for the steak fajitas with NOCORNCAKES and NOTORTILLAS. Everyone else ordered what they wanted. It took forever to get our food. But when our food did arrive everyone got what they asked for to eat. I on the other hand got tortillas and corn cake on my food. I told Jose, the worst waiter ever, that I said no corn cake and no tortillas because I AM allergic. He took it back and just took off the corn cake. Again he brought my food with the CORN tortillas and again WE all told him that I AM allergic to corn, for the third time! So he took it back again. A few mins later he brought it out. It looked as though they just scraped the food onto a new dish. When Jose G. dropped it off he gave me the worst attitude. His exact words«Well maybe next time you will know better!» Um excuse me your the one too stupid to listen! About 20 mins later when he came to ask if everything was good and my husband said NO and he just walked away. When it was time to pay my mom handled everything. Let’s just say the manager was really unhappy.

Good drinks after a long day of shopping! I got the happy hour fish tacos, which were average. The drinks aren’t very strong, which to some would knock off a star, but they tasted yummy. Pomegranate margarita was delicious!

She was very rude did not acknowledge me what’s so ever she acted as if it was only my Boyfriend sitting there. I understand being attentive but damn can you thirsty. Her name is Fanny made my visit unpleasant. My boyfriend was gentleman enough to refer all the questions she was asking him to me.

I came solo waiting to beat some traffic and just wanted a Mexican Caesar. It was crazy here for taco Tuesday, but I was seated promptly and given a hot batch of chips, some of them still a little gummy out of the frier. My server Edgar was awesome and attentive even though I only ordered a Mexican Caesar add Avo with a glass of water con lemon. He checked on me multiple times nonetheless The salad itself was very robust with a healthy serving of chicken, the pepita nuts, and that incredible cilantro dressing. Ever notice how their bottled stuff from the store just isn’t the same? How do they do it? It’s a nice plate of food for just over $ 10 and probably one of the healthiest options available in this whole Plaza.

Unilocal challenge 2015. 205⁄365 Located on the outside of The Block of Orange near the Vans skate center. Lots and lots of parking here. Came here with the visiting parental unit who don’t Unilocal,on a Thursday evening. Their local ET closed years ago, so they were craving ET and some good margeritas. It was empty in here. Like a handful of people. You’d think service would be great, but it was a little slow. We had to wave him down for refills of water, chips and AYCE items. Ordered my go to dish, Chicken Fajitas. This used to be my favorite dish here. For some reason it does not taste as good as it used too. Chicken was really dry and flavorless. Definitely not worth the $ 15 price tag. Especially when I know my food only cost a couple of dollars to prepare. Luckily my Daddy bigbucks was paying and luckily his AAA card gave him a discount. Hubsters had the AYCE enchiladas. Rice and beans were not AYCE, luckily I gave him mine. 4 enchiladas and he was full. He said his food was okay. Which means he wished he ordered something else. There is a balloon guy here who does characters. Im not talking puppies either. This guy can blow his rubber into Minons and Frozen Princesses. Pretty darn cool if you ask me. Nothing to epic here, other than the chips and salsa. Not like the ET I grew up with in the 80s. But, dinner with family is always great. Just wish the food was better. Their AYCE Sunday Brunch or AYCE lunch buffet is the better way to go here. #690

I typically come here because El Torito is one of those places that you can get your fajitas craving taken care of here rather than going to a spot where you may get sick. I actually was craving eggs and my BF was craving churros. Weird combination, but luckily they had a brunch special on Sunday. We went in, waited for 10 minutes, and got seated right away. This place was extremely busy and I felt so bad for the staff. They are not under-staffed, but I think they just had to deal with difficult clients and then were called by the next table for a water refill… and the next table… and the next. I really felt bad for them. The food was average, I got my fix on. They make omelette for you and it was decent. The tacos were tiny and the crowds were just insane. I only enjoyed t because there are not a lot of brunch buffets like this with Mexican food variety. Other than that, I would try to avoid it. Either come early, or 20 minutes before the buffet is over and just stack your plates so you avoid the crowd.
