This place is the shittttt!!! Love it and love the service. My boy Lloyd always takes great care of me. These guys have all kinds of rare tools and parts for my large scale remote control cars. Impressive service and selection, I won’t waist my time again with the other stores!!!

Best hardware store ever. If you can’t find it or think you won’t find it anywhere… Go to Mcfadden-​Dale !!! I often wander around just amazed at all the useful stuff I didn’t even know was available. I have not meet one worker that doesn’t know what things are called. Ask for a c-​lok or top lock nut and anyone there knows what it is and where it is. GREAT PLACE!!!

They have everything you could need when it comes to hardware parts that are hard to find. I would give them 5 stars, but their hours close at 5pm, which makes it hard to always get to during the week.
I went here to get a second/​missing screw for my boyfriends ’72 Yamaha motorcycle. It was to hold the battery in place. I brought one in, and the employee at the counter knew exactly what to get. He was so great! Customer service was exactly as it should be at a specialized store. I’ll be returning for any needs they can help with. Also, who doesn’t love to look at a wall full of wheels and colorful things?

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! A few months ago, the plastic screw on my standing electric fan wore down. When I finally got around to replacing it, I went to Lowes and Home Depot. Unfortunately, the screw was a special reverse-​type and neither major hardware store carries it. One associate at Home Depot suggested I try McFadden-​Dale. I called last Saturday (⁹⁄₁₉) at 11:41am to confirm they were closing at 12:00pm. I was about ten minutes away and had spoken to Leo. Turns out, the relocated less than two blocks away and it was 11:57am when I called and told Leo I was right around the corner, having showed up at their former — and now vacated — location. This is the good part! Leo and his associates were assisting the last few customers inside but he had personally been waiting at the door as I pulled up. Not expecting preferred service of any sort, I asked what time they’d open on Monday. When Leo asked what I had needed, I shared I was the woman on the phone calling about a special reverse-​type of screw for an electric fan. «Oh yes, we were waiting for you; come on in.» Not only was Leo patient with me finding my way to their store, they did indeed carry the screw I needed for the fan. Since the blades of a fan rotate right, the type of screw needed to hold the blades in place would have to screw on in the opposite direction — left; this type of screw is not traditionally carried save for a select few hardware stores. McFadden-​Dale is one of those stores. I paid 13 cents for the screw for the fan, but the experience I had there was priceless. More use of the electric fan and not the air conditioner meant a lower electricity bill altogether. Leo professionally represented McFadden-​Dale with quality customer service and that is the reason I will be coming back for all of my future hardware supply needs. Thank you!

I was referred to this place by a worker in the Honda dealer in Orange. This place saved my life from a world of pain and saved me over 100 dollars if I had bought a new mirror (thanks a lot Honda) I was kindly greeted by every staff member even though they were super busy. My motorcycle mirror bolt was broken (couldn’t loosen or tighten it) and I couldn’t screw it out since it was at an angle. Leo is the man tho! He had to cut/​saw it off. He went above and beyond to help me :) will definitely come back if I need anything

This is the place to find almost any nut or bolt you might need for any machine or piece of furniture. The staff is very friendly and very helpful, I really recommend this place. The prices are good and it’s right off the freeway

This place has an abundance of different types of screws and bolts in all different sizes. Ace Hardware did not have what I was looking for. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for at a fraction of the cost elsewhere.

WOW! I am completely blown away.
I went in here for the first time today because I was looking for a rare bolt. They did not have it but what they had was much much better.
They had employees that knew their sh*t and are willing to help you. They personally helped me build the bolt from parts they had.
So now instead of paying 50 bucks for a proprietary bolt. I spent 10 and found the hardware store that will have my business for the rest of my life.
I have been to other «mom and pop» hardware stores but the quality of this store is unparalleled. They have much more in terms of hardware than the big chains do.
All the employees I dealt with were pleasant and helpful, I don’t know what they do (maybe they pay them well?) but I do know this: I would be proud to be an employee here.
