Best place to come get your donuts in the morning before work. I come here almost every morning, since I found out about this place. The donuts are warm and delicious. The staff is very friendly and they always have a smile. This place is awesome.

I bought a ham&cheese croissant with NO jalapeño. I get to my car and take a bite only to find jalapenos. So I went back in and told the lady. She got really rude and said that I did ask for jalapenos. Come on, I’m a regular and I order tge same thing every time. Then she threw it in the trash and got me a new one. She asked if I wanted it heated up and I said yes. She stuck it in the microwave then pretended to push start then gave me my cold croissant. Needless to say I wont be going back.

Never returning. One woman forgot my coffee and had to double charge me. The coffee was way to sweet and not coffee tasting at all. The doughnuts were mediocre, I suggest they look up the Krispy Kreme way of making doughnuts because I was disgusted by how overly sweet the simple glazed doughnuts were. Not good and do not suggest.

I do not think this place is over priced. 85 cents for a glazed donut is not bad. I pick up two glazed donut and one sugar bar. The glazed donut is O.k. but the sugar bar had a terrible taste, feel like it had been fried in some old and spoiled oil. I had to throw it away.

great old fashioned donut shop. service is always perfect and courteous. little silver pitchers for milk. donuts are always fresh and tasty. these people who are compaining of high prices are idiots. prices are in line w/everybody else. i mean really, .90 cents for a donut is too much for them. ?nobody likes a whinner. the same donuts in laguna beach are $ 1.50−1.75. they wouldn’t be here 25 plus years if they were too expensive

Mom’s donuts… It’s a funny story how I stumbled upon it. One day my friend and also co-worker, and I were carpooling to work and we were looking for this new supermarket that had just opened and apparently had everything for cheap. We got lost and couldn’t find it, and ended up making a huugggee circle and ended up where we kind of live near(–_-;) …BUT there was Mom’s donuts. We got over looking for that supermarket and I told my friend to just stop at Mom’s donuts quickly and let’s just get some coffee and donuts for the rest of the employees. We walked in and were greeted warmly by the ladies. They were really nice and happy that we were there that they put so much effort into making the drinks and getting our orders for us. Awww… :) Anyways, we got half a dozen donuts for our co-workers, and got the jalapeño ham and cheese croissant & blended coffee drinks for ourselves. My café mocha drink was really good, and my friend’s drink was good too. The price was pretty decent and off to work we went! My co-workers really loved the donuts, especially the plain glazed donuts, and they pretty much taste the same as krispy kreme donuts. My boss called me over and said, «Oh my gosh! Where did you get these donuts??» and I thought she was saying that because it was bad and I was apologizing to her but she meant that they were really good and thought they were from krispy kreme, lol. The jalapeño ham and cheese croissant is really good here, especially when they warm it up for you. I usually don’t like ham and cheese croissant at most places, but the one here is bomb. Once, I actually got it twice in a row on the way to work. The croissant is fluffy on the inside and buttery on the outside, but not too much, and the ham and cheese they use is better quality and not that ham in the packages you get at stores. The chocolate and cream cheese croissant are good too, for the sweet tooth lovers out there. Drinks are good too, I also tried the taro blended shake. It’s a bit too thick because I usually get taro milk tea so it was a different texture. Still good though. The coffees are good, either hot or blended cold. Service is great, they are so friendly and the lady gets so happy to see me or sometimes my friend and I when we go on the way to work, that she gives us some extra donuts or doughnut holes. She is so sweet :) Yay for Mom’s!

The first time I went here, I was charged $ 9.00+ for a dozen! After that, I pretty much boycotted that place because they are way over priced. Today, my coworker said it was national donut day… so i went on a hunt for donuts. The first place had a donut sign but apparently hadn’t sold donuts for a year… the second place apparently only made them in the mornings so by noon, they were out… so I had to go to Mom’s as my LAST resort! I got a dozen and paid $ 12.00!!! I’m not exactly sure how the math worked since each donut is $.80-.85! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

I came here one morning because I promised my coworkers I’d get them donuts and I always keep my promise. So I came to Mom’s because it was close to work. This is my first time here, the ladies behind the counter are nice, friendly and welcoming(+1 star). The donuts are okay… they’ve got all your standard donuts that you’ll find at a typical donut shop. I just got a dozen of the regular donuts which was $ 8.50(a bit pricey if you ask me, thats more than my beloved Goody’s and krispy kremes). But the donuts were decent. I had a maple frosted one and it was a bit crispy which I liked(+1 star). The maple bar was eh… nothing special. I didn’t try any of the specialty donuts such as the bearclaws and apple fritters. Perhaps next time. I think this is the closest one to my work, if it wasn’t for that, I don’t think I’ll be returning… a bit overpriced.

This place is a life saver when I have my nearby video shoots. They open early in the morning, earlier than most Starbucks so you can rest assured you’ll have your breakfast. They make a pretty tasty cup of coffee and I heart their buttery croissant sandwiches — particularly the melted ham and swiss. Yum! lots of other ppl rave about their doughnuts too. Staff is super friendly and like to get to know their customers.
