Sound Asylum Recording Studio

Sound Asylum is an awesome place to record. Good vibes, good sound and an awesome engineer Mike. Definitely recommend this studio for sure.

We came in with a rush on time to make an EP and Mike was clutch!
He guided us through the process, made us sound better then we are, and the best part is we had the most fun we’ve ever had recording!
Mike is supper on top of everything and is the key ingredient to the success of our EP and sound. Super reasonable prices and easy going with the highest quality work we’ve found.
I did a lot of research on other recording places and this is the top one in this area. Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else.

Why didn’t i find this place sooner? I have recorded at so many studios in OC in the past 10 years but have never had an experience quite like this. Mike (producer /​engineer) helped me along in this recording process to get me something i was finally proud of. He even helped me in making a video for the my music.
If you are a band in OC call this guy!

This is the first recording facility that I’ve found around the OC area that isn’t run by incompetent flaky wanna be’s.
They are very down to earth and the chief engineer MIke, is enthusiastic, creative and very easy going. His professionalism and work ethic is outstanding.
The main room features a warm ambience derived from custom wooden acoustical treatments.
The atmosphere is accented by original artwork and a very relaxed feel throughout.
A great lounge /​kitchen area is also a big plus.
I have completed 10 or so projects there in the past three years, including soundtracks, CD projects, corporate audio/​video work, sound repair and replacement /​mixing, transfers etc., and have yet to be disappointed.
