I love the food but I hate the lines. Anyone who hasn’t been there for a while or isn’t a manager is basically useless interms of locating products. I love their salmon that they have. It’s amazing when seared. I buy some of my products from here for my anti stain detergent schematic.

I stopped by for a few ingredients for my new recipes and ended up with over $ 100 of mostly (possibly) organic products. I got rotten chicken and had to return it. It had a horrible odor. Rather than apologize for my inconvenience, they treated ME like a criminal, demanding my IDs, (which I said, NO, but I will show the debit card with which I paid, and fill out the slip). I’M not the one who sold someone rotten meat with a suspicious date tag. The curled-​lip woman who waiting on me tried to give me a hard look — as if in HER strange world I should feel threatened. If I felt that the employees in our department of health/​inspection were not corrupt I would report it.
The last time I shopped at a Stater Brothers was after the BP Oil Spill. I got tarred fish — but at the time I dismissed it as part of the Oil Spill in the gulf — and I simply avoided shopping there. Until a few weeks ago.

I shop at Stater Bros in Orange every week. However this location is very scary. I stopped on my way home from work and as I am loading my groceries a homeless man came up behind me asking for money. I will not be going to the location again.

The only reason i give two stars is the employees!!! I drive all the way to the Von’s on Euclid and chapman instead of going here, and i live around the block. The only reason i would go to this staters is because its on my way home from work if i need a couple things, and thats the ONLY reason. Today was the last time i go to this store. It was the third time in a row I’ve been and the checker and bagger did not say one word. I worked at stater bros in huntington for a while and yeah they dont get paid much, but atleast have common courtesy. Hence COURTESY CLERK.
This is only for the people upfront checkers baggers and a few managers. I dont know how the meat dept people are.
Overall, make a special trip to go a little ways down the road. These people seem to not care much, and they handle your food? No thanks.

I really like this Stater Bros. Markets. I don’t care that its parking is horrible or that its average, this place wins alone on the nostalgia. I grew up around here so we always go to the shopping complex and always always shop at Staters. There’s just something about the store that just brightens up my day (and no its not because there are hot Asian chicks working there, although there should hot Asian chicks working here but I digress).
Anyways good times, good times.
This Stater Bros. Market is a pretty neat mid-​sized store. I like that you don’t need to be a club member or anything to get discounts and deals. Selections were good and everything looked stocked and well maintained. I didn’t run into any employees while looking around but the cashiers were professional. I didn’t see a self-​check stand either, Overall, I find this Stater Bros. a pretty good store, able to get what you need and move out. I feel it’s a little old school and outdated but it still gets the job done. I would like to see a little more security presence since there was quite a bit of homeless people hanging around, even some right at the entrance who stared at me as I walked out.
