We had them provide pizza for about 100 folks at Municipal Wine. Food was great — salad, pizza, and gelato. All great.
They warned us that it would be hard to get pizzas out for that large a crowd, and they were right. But they did the best they could in the situation and everyone was happy. Their chefs worked hard to please and did a great job.
Only negatives were: underestimated salad, so we ran out a little early. And Email response was a little slow. That said, a pleasure to work with and tasty food!

California Wood-​Fired Catering is delicious and perfect for a casual, fun event! I have had the pleasure of working with them many times for events at the private event venue that I manage. While I have heard from a few clients that the owner can be sometimes difficult to get a hold of, I myself have never had a problem reaching him by calling the number listed on their website. Either way they always come through with the events that they book and the guests always rave about how fun it is having a wood-​fired burning oven popping out fresh pizzas as well as how delicious the food is.

This year for 4th of July we checked out the Stow House old fashioned 4th of July:) What a pleasant surprise. We were lucky enough to stumble on these pizza people who were making pizza in special oven:) it was really good and hope they can come to our school carnivals next year:)

Mike and his team organized a great corporate event for my company in December. It was first assignment and was 300 miles away. He took over all the details, rentals, DJ. My boss was impressed as well as 90 others. I can’t recommend them enough and will use California wood fire catering again soon.

This wood-​fire pizza catering company is outstanding! The arugula blue cheese pizza and mushroom truffle oil pizzas are mouthwatering and you never had pizza quite like this before. They make simple, traditional cheese and pepperoni pizzas as well as gourmet foodie pizzas. Mike, aka «The Big Cheese» uses fresh, organic, local ingredients and the finest dough and cheeses to build these party pizzas. Great for pairing with wine tastings, parties, weddings, quinceneras, or any other fun occassion to celebrate! Ask Mike about their delicious dessert pizzas and adding gelato to your next catering order. He literally brings the wood-​fire stove to your party and rolls the dough and assembles the pizza right before your eyes.
