The staff is so nice, gave us free ice cream, and were overly considerate. I love them!!!

I love their burger so much! Don’t forget to get their sweet sauce. I think their crispy chicken with their sweet sauce is the best! I also like their ice-​cream!

NEVER use a Chik-​Fil-​A drive thru! Firstly I was handed two large drinks with no drink holding tray despite clearly being the only person in the car. So I asked for a cup holder and got this flimsy cardboard «cup holder» which was utterly useless at keeping the cups standing upright. Furthermore, the lids come off their cups RIDICULOUSLY easily, I was handed an overflowing bag of food which couldn’t possibly sit up straight and I had to repeat myself endlessly. Needless to say my car floor and seat are now covered in soda! The cups and cup holder alone make them a sub-​par fast food chain. But the food was no better. No crunch at all to the deep fried chicken. No crunch to the fries. Completely average experience all round. How this company has gotten this far I do not know. NEVER. AGAIN.

went in at 12:30. did not receive my food until 1pm. I had to be back at work by 1 and was extremely frustrated with the service. 30 min for a sandwich? since when.

The husband makes me stop here anytime we pass through SB since we live about 1.5 hours away and this is the closest location. Drive thru always gets the order correct and they are generous with sauces. We’ve also eaten inside and it was very clean. Reminder: do not show up on Sunday, they are closed (yet we have somehow forgotten this about 3 – 4 times and shown up anyway, oops!)
Food recommendations: chicken sandwich, grilled chicken nuggets (or kids meal for a cheaper option to also get fries and a drink), grilled market salad, and of course chik fil a sauce on the side to dip the fries and chicken in!

The food at Chick-​Fil-​A is delicious! I usually come in for dinner after work, and my meal is almost always prepared before I even get to my seat. The chicken is flavorful and cooked perfectly so that the meat is moist and juicy. Compliments to the chef because I know they sometimes go unrecognized.

Super expensive prices as well as super packed inside garbage bins. It smelled like shit times 10 in the r& R, and the foul odor leaked to the dining area. By the end of closing there was sauce spills near the bin where customers eat as well. I had an awful experience hear. I will NOT be investing my hard-​earned money here. Does NOT pass health & safety code in the state of California. Everyone of their staff needs to take classes on punctuality, and clairvoyance. Slow reaction time to health violations, and bad timings to clean up near customers eating. Very rude to take out trash that has been there for over two hours, finally when someone eats near by. Staff lacks common sense, certain individuals need to be reprimanded for poor output of work. Not enough courtesy, and enthusiasm from the men working there. The women are very outgoing here. They just cannot do the dirty work.

Definitely the best fast food place for a chicken sandwich! The quality of the food is superb, always fresh vegetables are used. I love their chick-​fil-​a sauce, it’s a must with any sandwich or fries!
The staff is always super courteous and the facilities are always clean! It definitely gives a new face to fast food.

Normally, I am not a fast-​food rater but our experience at this particular Chick-​Fil-​A was not the positive experience I usually expect from a Chick-​Fil-​A establishment.
We stopped at this location on our way to Morro Bay on Friday morning for a quick breakfast bite. I was waiting for my boyfriend and looking at the menu and the worker seemed to want to rush me. I was the only person anywhere near the counter, so I’m not sure what the her hurry was. I went up to order a meal with a soda and a sandwich. She said, «We don’t have soda, the machine doesn’t work.» Umm, ok. One of the main reasons we chose Chick-​Fil-​A was for the Diet Dr. Pepper. I wasn’t really sure what I want to order for him instead so took another moment to try and contact him. She seemed frustrated with me needing another minute so I just quickly ordered something.
Usually employees are over-​the-​top with customer service and «my pleasures» but not this particular girl.
Then, it took a long time for our food to be ready. I don’t get it…

The guy taking the order was a complete moron. Shorted us a fry, then asked about it they said only one meal was a combo. How did the two drinks get ordered then? Food did come and was cold and greasy, not much difference between KFC and Chik fila at this location. Not coming back…

This place is great! So glad there’s one in Santa Barbara. I used to drive down to Ventura just to get me some waffle fries. :)
The employees here are incredibly friendly, but I’ve run into a few borderline rude staff and today they gave me all the overdone «bottom of the bin» fries which were gross, but it was free so whatever. Either way, they’re mostly great!

I was told that I had to pay extra for the Chick-​fil-​a dipping sauce that comes with the strips, because «we are running low on that one.»
Apparently, any other kind of sauce came with the meal at no charge, because they were handing them out to people who came to the counter and asked for them.
Food was good.
The way I was treated was not.

I like Chik-​Fil-​A! Sometimes it’s not always about the food. This place is about customer service! They serve you at the counter, they are polite, they are attentive, they serve you at the table and with them it’s always «my pleasure». This store has a big outdoor patio and a table situation that can seat a group of 12.
Now back to the food. The salads are my «go to» especially the Harvest with the lemon avocado dressing. Chicken is tender juicy and delicious It has too much sodium for me to eat on a regular basis. The waffle fries are the best in the industry. The combination of sauces you can ask for also is a bonus. If and when I eat fast food this is where I head.

I’ve never given Chick-​fil-​A a bad review, customer service is off the charts, the food is life-​changing. The owners of this Chick-​fil-​A are really cool people!

Chick-​fil-​A made up for any less than ideal experiences I had at their eatery. The female employees seem a lot more on top of their games than the males.

Wow, this is fast food? Fast food done right!
I have heard lots of hype surrounding Chick-​fil-​A from all sorts of sources. How good can chicken really be though? I decided to go to Chick-​fil-​A for the first time to find out.
First impression when I walked in was «wow this place is huge and it’s very clean». In my one hour devouring multiple items while texting furiously I noticed that the employees don’t seem to stop working. This is part of why it’s not a run-​down mess.
Service is amazing and they have Cherry Coke — big plus. My food arrived in like fifteen seconds, this is definitely not hyperbole. Chicken strips were only lukewarm that was a bit concerning but I can report that I did not get sick and I’d rather have lukewarm than overcooked. Waffle fries are pretty darn good too. The spicy chicken sandwich is sooooo legit though. Best fast food chicken sandwich ever. (sorry McChicken :((()
I once stated that Chick-​fil-​A is «upscale» in the fast food world. This was always a speculative statement of mine but if more Chick-​fil-​A locations are like the one on Upper State than it’s a valid statement.

This Chik-​Fil-​A locale is excellent! First off, the restaurant is very clean — almost spotless. Next, the customer service is friendly. The folks behind the counter always have a smile and a genuinely warm greeting. And the best part, for me, is always the basic chicken sandwich: simple yet oh so tasty. .. wish we had a CFL in North SB County!

Always a good choice when I’m on the road. This location was no different. Although our order was forgotten — waited about 20 minutes before I went to the counter and complained, then it was out within 5 minutes. The lady was apologetic and brought out a free cookie for the wait. I wasn’t in a hurry so wasn’t too bad.
Good food though!

Come here for salty, but very, very tasty chicken sandwiches. I had the grilled sandwich. The bread can be a bit dry, even though it is steamed. I am not sure why. Some folks love the pickles on their sandwiches. I don’t, and I can’t say why because I love chicken sandwiches and I love pickles, just not together. Anyhow, this is why people come to Chick-​fil-​A. (Note: I got the grilled sandwich, not the fried).
The customer service at this locale was excellent. I’ve never seen such attentive, pleasant servers. Two thumbs up for that! Also, they were amazing in setting up a larger seating area for our children (one of whom needed a booster seat). Didn’t even blink an eye. Just helped with a smile before we even asked. Needless to say, the place was spotless.
The restaurant has its own proprietary lot for parking.

I am quite sure that I have never updated a review so quickly! I did learn that on Unilocal if you try to update a review the first 24 hours, they don’t let you! You can only edit your previous review! So I waited a day to do this.
Being that my first visit was the day before the official opening, I went back on opening day for the true customer experience. I went for breakfast and ordered the chicken egg and cheese bagle. It really was delicious. I was also given a sample of a tiny little chicken buscuit and I thought it was great too. There is something about the spice in the batter that makes it so good! Almost tasted like it had honey in it.
I sat with Carol the owner and some of the staff from the headquarters. Everyone was excited about the opening. The serivice was amusingly enthusiastic! Everyone was bending over backwards, almost tripping over one another to make sure everyone was happy!!! I commented that it will be fun to see if the service will be as good in a few weeks – I was assure it will be! We will see…
I made the mistake of referring to the restaurant as «fast food» I was sternly scolded and told that it wasn’t fast food it was «quick serve» and that there is nothing fast about breading all of that chicken! I guess that they take pride in what they do!
