Paradise Found

This is by far THE BEST metaphysical bookstore with very gifted readers. I’ve enjoyed every visit. Yesterday, however, just blew me away. I had a reading with Anna Chapman.

I was visiting Santa Barbara this past weekend and happened upon this great place. What a great selection of stones, oils, books, tarot cards, and other trinkets. I bought a meditation coloring book and an amethyst healing wand. The lady working was very nice and helped me find what I was looking for. Everything was reasonably priced.

Fun Holistic bookstore and novelties shop. Went in searching for a tarot deck for my sister’s birthday, found several fun options. The ladies there were pleasant and helpful. Lots of cool things in here. Check it out! They have things for almost any religious affiliation, and plenty for those with none!

I love this place. It has a wonderful selection of books/​CDs/​incense. There is a rotating list of intuitive and card readers. I LOVED seeing Anne for a reading. I was not a fan of Amy’s reading.

What a little jewel of SB. This is THE BEST gift shop in town and something for EVERYONE! Talk to the Owner, Theresa and she will find you the perfect gift every time guaranteed.

Literally I was walking out of the library back to my car and thinking about where I could find a metaphysical shop in Santa Barbara, when I saw Paradise Found across the street. Perfect little shop for your books, yogi CDs and healing crystal collection, they even had my favorite Japanese brand of incense that I haven’t been able to find since the Bodhi Tree closed! Great to know there’s a perfect little spiritual store here in SB!

I really really enjoy this metaphysical shop. Both times I’ve been in the area, I’ve had a reading done by Vicki. She’s a quirky awesome person with a wonderful gift. I love her healing energy and her readings have always been very accurate for my friends and I. I usually record my readings and it’s wonderful to be able to hear multiple readings back to back from previous months. She’s very accurate and the readings definitely relate to one another especially since months lapse between them. 15 mins for $ 25, 30 mins for $ 45, she also does longer readings but I’ve only gotten these two time frames. I definitely recommend at least 30 minutes, 15 is very short.
The rest of the shop has a wonderful feel to it. Calm, organized, clean. They have an assortment of polished and raw crystals, books, calendars, incense, etc. I think the owner also rescues poodles so there is often a canine buddy there.

I have loved Paradise Found for many years. They have a good selection of items and a knowledgeable, friendly staff. Today, I went there with my daughter, who was searching for some birthday gifts. I noticed that they were offering Tarot readings that day. I have never had one and never thought much about it, but knew immediately that I was going to have one today, right then. I had a reading with Anna and am still processing the experience. I don’t know much about Tarot, but virtually every single thing she said hit the nail on the head of where I am in my life right now. I have never met Anna before and said very little the entire time, so definitely wasn’t giving verbal clues. I was, and am, amazed by the experience. If you have ever thought about having a Tarot reading, I suggest you go to Paradise Found and sit with Anna.

Thank you, Paradise Found for offering a broad range of items for the mind and spirit. As soon as I walked in to this store I felt great positive energy. The first time I was there I did not have the honor of meeting the poodle I read about on Unilocal.However, I was there last night and got to meet 2 lovely poodles! I asked if I could pet them and the owner’s friend who was taking care of them said of course.
I was petting the white poodle and said «oh aren’t you just a beautiful baby!» The friend responded by saying «He is a baby, only 8 months old and in way better health than when he was adopted». She went on to tell me that he was very malnourished and had a bone sticking out his back when he was rescued. I said to her, «Wow. I would have never guessed because he looks healthy and is so happy and playful now». Her response was beautiful, she said, «You have to believe in the healing power of love. These poodles get love 24 hours a day and are in great health, way better than when they were rescued. Never underestimate the power of love».
As a pet lover and parent of a maltipoo, this story warmed my heart. I was there to buy incense and candles but left with a canvas painting from the dog lovers section and a raku ceramics item! It is so hard to hold back from splurging when you are there. Especially when everyone is so kind and welcoming. They close at 6 pm but time flew by and I was done shopping around at 6:20 pm. I completely lost track of time but was not rushed and they waited for me to be done. Great service!

I love that store ! The staff is very friendly and always make sure you find what you are looking for. But I wasn’ t looking for anything when I walked in the other day. I got intrigued by the sign in front of the store: «Today Intuitive readings by Amy Katz ! «. I Inquired inside about prices: $ 45 for ½ hour reading sounded right to me. At that point, I though that I could use some guidance. I was struggling with some big decisions to make in my career. So I booked my consultion with Amy. She amazed me by her level of clairvoyance … Amy ‘s grounding energy is truly healing. I left the session happy and at peace. Thanks Amy for your generosity an kindness!!!

This store is stoked with books, yummy rare essential oils that I don’t see in other stores (even Lazy Acres), fantastic cards, spiritual and artsy trinkets and tools, my favorite incense brand, Triloka, not carried in any other stores in SB (bonus!). I love the Doreen Virtue angel cards selection – I’ve bought nine decks in the past year. They have a frequent buyer program so for books and CDs. The energy is great and the salespeople are in alignment with the vibe of the place – no sham new age preaching here. Grounded, authentic. Outside is a cork board with lots of useful business cards. The store holds events sometimes, and they have one of the few mailing lists I actually like being on – I read the newsletter they email. If they’re out of it, they order it fast. And I’d be willing to bet that if you want something they aren’t carrying, they’ll find a way to get it for you. It’s a business I hope will thrive here for a long time to come because it’s one-​of-​a-​kind and has such a unique selection of items in a genre where it’s easy to often see just the same old stuff as the other hippie stores have. Excellent place to go gift shopping. There is a parking garage right next door for easy access. If you’re ever nearby, drop in and take a spin through just for the pleasure.

Enter calm. Petting the old poodle, the friendly owner (if she wasn’t the owner she sure is an amazing salesperson), the location, the organization and ease of movement in a tidy little shop.
I got so many gifts here and each one was cherished. The place has some good energy. My kids touched a crystal so I lectured them about not touching. The salesperson said, «If it’s OK with you, it’s OK with me. They are welcome to touch the ones that are in their reach.» That was a moment of blessed relief and gratefulness.
