The Montecito School of Ballet

My two best girlfriends have taken Modern Dance classes at UCSB and urge me to try classes. Unfortunately I don’t go to UCSB, so I was searching for a good Modern class to try! I got a recommendation from someone who came into lululemon (where I work) to try Montecito School of Ballet and I’m so glad I did.
I have no real dance background besides some hip hop, so contemporary and modern are a far reach for me; however, I love to move! I went to Susan’s beginner adult modern class this morning (Tuesdays at 10:00 AM) and felt amazingly welcomed the entire time. From the director at the desk right when I walked in, to Susan herself during the class always checking up on me to make sure I’m doing okay, and all of the women in her class who welcomed me with open arms. So adorable.
I had a great time and I’ll definitely be coming back to Susan’s other Modern classes. Maybe I’ll eventually try ballet…
