I haven’t had any shoes done myself, but my ex has had work done and the work is amazing and very well priced. My SO got some brand new designer heels, and wanted to get some protective soles. She told me she got quoted at a place for $ 40, I told her she has to take her shoes here and she did. Only cost $ 20. Great work and amazing price also.

Finding shoes that are comfortable is very hard for me so I had my old ones fixed. I found this place through Unilocal & decided to try them. My shoes were fixed in a sensible amount of time at a sensible price. I’m very satisfied & will now be a long time customer!

Ok I see why Jesse has such great Unilocal reviews. I’ve never gotten a pair of shoes repaired before. I don’t have a bunch of expensive designer shoes so for me when a normal shoe breaks, I usually just buy another pair. This time, the heel of my black leather boots kept becoming unglued. These boots are super comfy and therefore have walked miles and miles every winter and all over the world when I travel. I wasn’t ready to throw them away because the upper leather part was still in great condition, so that’s when I looked up a shoe repair place on Unilocal.
Jesse repaired the heel for only $ 15! It looks amazing and they almost look brand new… even though they’re like 3 years old already. I wish I took a before & after photo. Because of his quality work and pricing, I might consider repairing some old shoes instead of buying new ones in the future. Not only is his work amazing, but he’s also such a friendly & genuine person. We had a 20 minute conversation about dogs LOL. He has the sweetest doggy keeping him company in his shop.

When I bought my first full price pair of designer shoes, I wanted to make sure they would stay nice and I could get a lot of use out of them in the future. I had seen the reviews and pictures of this business and I thought getting some protective soles put on them would be a good idea.
After spending a pretty penny of my hard earned money on these beauties I was really nervous to let anyone touch them. I would be mortified if I ruined them before I even got to wear them. I decided to take a chance after I saw so many great reviews of his work on protective soles for designer shoes. My boyfriend, who was with me when I bought the shoes came with me go drop them off. Knowing how expensive they were, he was surprised that I wasn’t taking them to one of the fancy places near the mall, and he was even worried that I was only going to spend $ 20 on them! I told him not to worry, that I picked FJ Shoe Repair because of the quality work, not the price.
I just picked them up, and I am so happy with the work! I’m so glad I brought my shoes here; they look great. The work is so clean and polished. I can’t believe it was only $ 20! The only drawback was that I needed to wait a full week before they were finished, but they were ready when they were promised and he apologized for the long wait due to being extremely busy when I dropped them off. Honestly I’m not surprised that he gets so busy because he offers beautiful work for an unbelievably reasonable price, so I think it’s more than worth the wait.
I’m so happy I will absolutely be coming back for all my other shoe repair needs and recommending FJ Shoe Repair to anyone looking for shoe repair.

This place is amazing and the work is second to none. I took $ 400 Italian leather shoes to him that had scuffs in the fronts of both shoes where the leather had completely torn off. Not only did he fix it to where you can’t even tell, he also treated the shoes for water and only charged me $ 8!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I’ve been taking my boots here for years. The owner is fantastic, and the work is impeccable.

I have been going to Jesse for several years now for all of my show repairs from sandals, heels, to boots you name it he does and\ amazing job for a great price. Customer service is always the best as well. He is a very nice, honest person!

The heels of my favorite pair of boots had been worn down bare and needed to be fixed. I went into FJ Western on a Wednesday and was quoted $ 18. I was ecstatic about the price, considering a San Jose cobbler previously quoted me $ 60 to repair my $ 40 pair of boots. I was told to come back on Tuesday (a little under one week). The heels of my boots were fixed perfectly and even waxed/​buffed. Thank you FJ Western for being so professional and caring for your customers! I recommend this shop 100%.

Whenever I buy a shoe I bring it here for conditioning. My shoes have never lasted so long. Going on 2 yrs and shoes still look new!

He brought my favorite boots back to life! Service was fast and a very affordable price. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Will come back when needed.

Haven’t been in his shop in about 3 years. Sad to see all the merchandise go, but it’s always good to reconnect with a beautiful human being. Jesse is the real deal, he’s honest, funny and respectful. Someone who still thinks a hand shake is as good as a signed contract. His workmanship has always been top notch and pricing can’t be beat. If you have any valuable shoes (or purses I guess), THIS IS THE MAN TO SEE. Guaranteed you will not be disappointed with him.
After not seeing him for over 3 years when I first walked in and said hello I think he was trying to figure me out for a minute, until I showed him the boots he sold me! LOL You know the man has passion for his work when he can recognize old customers just by the shoes they wear! Once he saw the boots it was awesome to see him click and recognize who I was. After that it was like we were old friends all over again.
Jesse if you read this, I meant everything I said man. As the old man Skip use to tell me, you’re a diamond among stones bro. I wish you the best and I’m looking forward to my son’s first pair of boots, so he can meet a real hombre. The owner did an amazing job! I brought in 2 pairs of leather shoes: 1 new pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals to be resoled and my mom’s vintage pumps to have the heel replaced.
The price is so reasonable considering the craftsmanship and detail involved. I love the thin vibram soles he put on my sandals. He even waterproofed the leather for me.
My mom’s previously torn up heels came back with a brand new heel tip and he even cleaned up the shoe so it literally looked brand new.
Friendly, fast service. I will most definitely be bringing all my new shoes to be resoled here and to have my shoes repaired here.
Mocha, his doggie, is also a total cutie! :)

I needed to touch up my favorite Celine bag and my husband suggested FJ’s. He brought in my bag and a couple of pairs of shoes to get re-​soled.
The work was absolutely fantastic! The prices are very reasonable. It was making the trek from SF.

I came here hoping that I could salvage the strap on my Marc by Marc Jacobs leather crossbody. Jesse inspected the strap, which was kind of coming apart where the hardware was and said that he would only be able to glue the strap. He told me to come back in a few days. I returned in a week and he said that since he couldn’t really do much for me that he wouldn’t charge me for the glue.
Like other Unilocalers have said, this is a very honest business and I would gladly come back! Thanks Jesse!

I drive super far to come to Jesse, he’s amazing and super friendly — I trust I’m with my boots, and my super fancy heels.
It’s so affordable to preventatively protect your shoes, so worth it. Best part though is that he’s also a miracle worker, so with my nice but destroyed boots — he revives them and makes them look brand spanking new.
Definitely coming here for as long as he’s open!
