For the price the burgers taste good. The fries are my favourite. It has a hint of rosemary. Staff are friendly. The restaurant is clean. The food is high calorie though something you would expect from a fastfood.

I liked this place! I got a giant harvest salad with a burger on top, and it was extremely tasty. There were a lot of greens, tons of seeds and other yummies in the salad. The burger looked delicious and was properly cooked, but the meat could definitely have used more seasoning. I get the feeling that’s how they roll here, so I wasn’t that surprised or disappointed, mostly because the rest of the salad was delicious. Also, the staff was really nice. They let us stay late and made no issue about the fact that we closed the place out. Well done. Parking is Rivermark, but on the Safeway side, it’s not that bad!

This is the place to go for a good solid burger. The patty is pretty greasy but delicious. The buns are amazing. The smash fries with olive oil, rosemary and garlic are delicious but need a bit more garlic! Great atmosphere!

I met my GF for lunch and this was my first visit at a Smashburger since we don’t have one in our area yet. I had the truffle mushroom Swiss smashburger with truffle mayo, sauteed crimini mushrooms, aged Swiss on an egg bun, and a side of smashfries — tossed in Italian olive oil, rosemary and garlic. The burger was juicy, flavorful and delicious and loved the tasty soft egg bun. The smashfries are thin cut and were hot and perfectly seasoned. Can’t wait to return and hope they open a Smashburger in our area some time soon.

Thanks to Jon S. I thought I’d try a Smashburger when I was hungry over every other choice in the area. Very happy that I did! Best grilled chicken sandwich that I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. Will return and will strongly recommend!

Right on Time! Smashburger were never our first option and it was kinda surprise on how we get through in this place. On the entrance, if you look everywhere. All things are in order. You can see a lot of people coming in but the staff make it easy to look on how to handle the customers. Ordered the usual burger, it was kinda fast though because after you pay for the order, you will get what you ordered. Yeah, like this place is a new place. Great, new things coming this place. Smashburger has improved since the last time I’ve been here. Well deserved on my 4 star.

I really want to like this place but it’s not happening so far. It’s inconsistent every time. 2 times I got take out and got home with different burgers. Other reviewers are complaining about the same issue. You don’t get what you order :) They need to add some salt and pepper on the meat. It’s too plain.

I was planning to eat at the Chipotle next door; but when I got out of my truck, I ran into the Smash Burger manager(or store owner?), and we started chatting. He said that I shouldn’t go to Chipotle because of an E. coli breakout in one of their Washington locations. He continued to convince me that Smash Burger was the best due to the meat quality, seasoning, and the«smashing» process during cooking. I decided to skip my usual favorite, Chipotle, and try Smash Burger… And man was it a disappointment. The burger patty was way over cooked, dry, and had almost no seasoning. Even the thin french fries were just ok… The manager guy came up to my table eventually eager to know if I had enjoyed the meal, and I told him that is was just ok. I explained the burger was overcooked, dry, and had very little seasoning. Rather than offering to fix this and remake the burger, he just said«oh well, that’s just the way it goes sometimes». « I think I’ll stick with my usual, Chipotle ;).

Everything here is pretty tasty and fresh. The burgers, the chicken sandwiches and especially the smash fries and shakes! Gets busy during lunch time and the parking in the area is atrocious during that time.

5 star because of their excellent baja cobb salad and service! I couldn’t find any good salad at Rivermark except this one. The salad recipe taste premium and fresh and comes in good portion. You can order a burger patty or grilled chicken to add to the salad. I go to smashburger for their salad at least once every week and am greeted by name and often offered water when I wait. The line can get very long here so I always drop by ~11:30AM to beat the crowd for my meal. Trust me, if you like salad, TRYITHERE!

I live in Seattle and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try this place. It delievers! The meat is certified Angus beef and it tastes fresh and rich. We ordered the Bay Burger and the Truffle Mushroom Burger. Our mushrooms were perfectly cooked and added to the flavor of the meat’s seasoning. The swiss cheese was melted to perfection.(The difference between the burgers was the arugula and truffle mayo on the Bays). To round out the meal you can order fries or other sides. They offer fountain drinks, juices, water and beers. You can quickly place your order online or in house; the food will be ready within minutes. The large fries are big enough for sharing. The prices are excellent for big families or groups if you want a hybrid sit down/fast food experience. The quality and service were outstanding. I highly recommend you stop here during your visit.(I didn’t try the shakes but they have various offerings. Great alternative for dessert.)

For Sunday lunch, my hubby and decided to stop by here for a quick bite. I live about 5 minutes from Rivermark, but never had the chance to try this establishment. We’re quite glad we did. While it is a fast food restaurant, the place is very clean, spacious, and the food is made with high quality ingredients. I ordered the grilled chicken baja hamburger with jalapenos and my hubby got the crispy fried chicken with onions and bacon. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries with olive oil and an oreo milk shake. First off, our burgers were made with fresh ingredients. It was clear that my grilled chicken was not precooked and it was deliciously flavorful. I love the heat from the jalapenos and the chipotle sauce on the bun. My hubby enjoyed his crispy fried chicken as well, mentioning how juicy the chicken was. As for the fries, the olive oil was a nice touch. It was something we would expect at a real burger establishment and not a fast food place. Actually, we wouldn’t call Smashburger fast food. It’s better than that. Our following visits after were just as good if not better. The ingredients were always fresh and the service quick and polite. The one con we would make about Smashburger is that the prices are a little on the higher end, but then again, the food is amazing so it makes sense. We will definitely return for lunch again.

Today was my first visit to Smashburger, and I’m an instant fan. This was not an earth-shattering burger. But it was good, and it was flavorful – better than any burger for which I’ve paid $ 15 or less. And it was not a $ 15 burger… It wasn’t even a $ 10 burger. For $ 8, I expect a burger to taste like it’s been sitting in a frozen warehouse since the mid-90s, or to function as a suitable rubber door stop. But my ~$ 8 SmashBurger was actual, seasoned, fresh, tasty FOOD. I also got the fries(house fries? smash fries?). Don’t put the bag on fancy upholstry because they are GREASY. Greasy like McDonalds’ fries 20 years ago. But I’m not complaining. The garlic, butter, and seasoning have probably ruined my ability to get anything done this afternoon, but it was totally worth it. Next time, I’m going to try them with ranch, because despite the many reviews recommending this combination, I have a hard time seeing how they could be any better. Additionally, I tried the spinach and goat cheese salad.(Don’t judge! I was hongry!) Like the burger, nothing I’d warn Gordan Ramsay about(he has a burger joint in Planet Hollywood in Vegas, apparently), but still a great value for the money. Last thing worth pointing out was the service. It’s not often you walk into a burger establishment and they don’t glare at you when you don’t instantly know your order like 95% of their regular clientele. The manager was hanging out near the line area and asked if I’d like recommendations. Both he and the cashier offered me a glass of water while I waited… Not that I could have finished it – my food was done in matter of minutes. This was an all-around great experience; I can’t believe it took me this long to visit.

I was really surprised when they took out the McD’s out of Rivermark, but really glad they added a Smashburger! The line does take quite a bit of time, but luckily the food comes out really quick! I decided to get the chipotle spicy burger which comes with guacamole and fresh jalapenos, and it was messy but delicious! Their smash fries are so tasty as well, and I like how they give you ranch as soon as you ask. Great place for some good food for a very reasonable price!

The burgers suck. Meat is Very bland. The garlic fries needs more garlic flavor. I can’t taste the garlic. 1 star for the shakes, It’s the best thing here. They should just sell shakes. Jalapeño Burger + Garlic Fries = $ 10. People want to get value for their money. You won’t get that here. Get a full meal at In n Out burger for less than half that. Their burger are better too. That’s why you see lines at the drive through non stop.

Came in at about 1130 on a Tuesday which was nice because there weren’t a lot of people and there were actually plenty of parking spaces at Rivermark(imagine that)! Ordered the classic with fried pickles as my side. The meat was perfectly medium-rare, which was good. The bottom bun, however, was incredibly soggy from grease. It was so soggy I felt like the burger had just walked out of an advance screening of 50 Shades of Grey. The fried pickles were tasty, however they were not evenly battered all the way around. The fries on the other hand, were delicious. Lastly, the gentleman who brought us our order seemed like he was in a bad mood… We didn’t initially hear when he announced the order number, so we hesitated and asked what number he said again. He then rolled his eyes and repeated the number in a mean-girl-eque manner. Not a big deal but a bit off putting.

When I had lost all hope in the Smashburger chain, I stumble upon this one in Santa Clara, one night I went to the library and they were closing and I was hungry like hell and the smell of burger made me break my promise of no more of this kind. And there I was, admiring the spacious restaurant, super clean, modern looking, with your food brought to the table in just a few minutes of wait and the mushrooms in your burger taste wonderfully as the whole ensemble. Plus I asked for that chipotle sauce and the side for my fries and was promptly served and even got asked if I wanted more(not very usual in this chain).

I had forgotten how good Smashburger is! Perfect lunch escape. $ 11 for a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a coke. Quick service and friendly staff. I’d give them 5 stars if they weren’t located in the dreaded crazy packed Rivermark. My burger was perfectly cooked. Juicy and flavorful with fresh toppings. I nibbled at my fries but left most behind on the tray. This was a perfect break from my usual lunch stops. I’m happy to have a Smashburger minutes away from my office.

My new favorite excuse to stop at Rivermark and battle for parking — Smashburger. Ordered the Classic Big Smash without cheese, and in less than ten minutes I was munching down on one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. A large, juicy patty on a soft egg bun — and they got all the default toppings right! No need to add extra condiments since the Smash Sauce so flavorful. Sided those thin rosemary & garlic fries that are like no other, amazingly addicting. With a Coke, it was around $ 10, inline with other burger shops. Service was excellent, and the place is kept very tidy. They bring out the food to you, then clear the tray from the table when they notice you’ve finished. Glass walls and track lighting enhance the attractive ambience. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

Finally had the opportunity to try Smash Burger and checked out this newly opened location at Rivermark. I ordered the avocado club burger and added cheddar cheese and swapped the default bread with a Chibatta bun. The bacon was crispy and burger juicy. Generous amount of avocado! The food was brought out to my table about 5 – 7 minutes after ordering. The fries are very thin here(perhaps 1⁄3 the thickness of McDonalds’). I could see/taste the rosemary but not the garlic. The tables and restaurant were clean and well-kept. Parking in Rivermark can be tough to find especially around lunch. If you don’t mind walking there is a structure behind YanCan.
