I have never dined in and always get take-out here but in my experience the service has been good and the food is perfect. The curries are fantastic and my partner could live off just the basil fried rice.

Service has always been friendly in the past & this was our go to spot for delicious Thai food… However, I believe management has changed. The bald headed older man(whom we have never seen before) is pretty rude. We ordered 2 curries & asked if rice is still included, Obviously annoyed man replied, Of course we charge for rice, everything is a la carte! I dunno, maybe it was an «off» personality day for him. But nonetheless, we won’t be back. Be nice to paying customers.

Ordered from DoorDash. I purchased red chicken curry to be delivered and I paid the same price(plus extra for delivery) you would if you dined inside the restaurant. So I would expect the same items from the restaurant. If I sat and ordered curry from your restaurant you would not charge extra for rice. How is rice an a la carte item at an asian restaurant?

I wish I could check 10 stars, my son and I had a date and he agreed to go to Thai. I have eaten Thai just a few times and I seem to order things too spicy. I decided a lunch menu would be safe. I asked the server to help me choose between 2 items and now I wish I would have ordered both so I could have some for a midnight feast. The food was flavorful ! The service was perfect. Our water glasses were filled our tea was sooo good! The service was not pushy, the servers didn’t reach across to place the plates, they were polite, non intrusive and friendly. The food was not over priced. I would be comfortable taking friends there even if they has little kids. I will visit again soon.

I really like this Thai restaurant. Their Thai food isn’t like some other Thai restaurants here either too sweet or too oily. And they have wonderful service!!! When we ordered pickups, they would make sure the food was ready for our time. So we could get warm and tasty food to eat later.

Tom yum. Yummy. Seriously one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. All of the dishes can be ordered with your choice of protein and with or without nuts for those allergic to them. A word of caution though, spicy is spicy and they mean it so if you ask for it extra spicy be prepared.

I did not know that many of my friends on Unilocal knew about this place because I thought I found the a great Thai restaurant place that I could enjoy for myself now. When I was in LA I had the chance to try drunken noodles and fell in love with the dish. When I looked here at the menu and I knew I had to check it out. Sobi came here expecting to order a plate of drunken noodles, but I ended up ordering a spicy chicken curry sizzling plate, drunken noodles, and Thai tea. I’m such a fatty but itbwas delicious. The waitress asked me how spicy I wanted each my plate to be from a scale of 1 to 5. That’s amazing they actually asked the customers how spicy they want itband even have a scale for us to gauge how hot the plate can be. So I decided to play safe and go with a level 4 because if I knew if I went full on level 5 I might of of had a battle in the restroom. Glad I was correct level 4 was perfect spice level for me and I love spicy food. It wasn’t too overwhelming and the foods did not feel greasy, so good job. I’m going to be coming here more often for my Thai adventures hehehe.

Really good red curry! Spicy and the most flavorful i’ve ever had. No lie. The Pad Thai was disappointing though. The shrimp was small and cheap tasting and the noodles were really greasy. Not very flavorful. Definitely will come back for the red curry though!

Tried to have Sunday lunch with our family of five(one visiting from out of the USA); we were the second customer in the restaurant arriving at 12:40PM. We waited 30 minutes while other customers that arrived after we did were receiving their food orders. When we asked our server the status of our order or at least where our drink orders were, he said should be very soon. So happens our server«forgot» to enter our order! This is a shameful and outright discrimination in service. Our family was seated in the middle of the restaurant and never even offered water refills while we waited. We will never return to Thai Chile restaurant, and we will be sure to tell everyone we know to not visit this restaurant.

Delicious curry! Lots of options, I recommend the red curry with chicken. The staff is friendly and always refilled my beverage. The restaurant is clean and quiet.

We recently moved to Santa Clara from Palo Alto and we are absolutely loving all of the amazing and diverse food options right at our doorstep. But actually, this place is a 3 minute walk from our apartment and it’s so great! Food: We had the chicken pad thai, red curry chicken & jasmine rice and we also split a fresh coconut. The food was delicious, some of the best thai I have ever had. The curry was especially delicious and the spices and coconut milk came through really well. We got mild spice on both of our dishes which was perfect for me since I can’t handle super spicy food. The coconut was super refreshing and I definitely recommend it if you haven’t tried it before! I think the portions were also the perfect size, not too big but not at all small. I find that a lot of thai places I have been to before give you giant portions for cheap but the quality is usually lacking, however I think this place had the perfect balance of quality, portion and price. Price: Both of our entrees as well as most things we saw on the menu were extremely affordable($ 10 – 12). It also looks like they have really cheap lunch specials during the week. Cannot complain about price point at all for how good the food was Ambience: The restaurant itself is nestled in a small shopping center that has a laundromat, salon, pizza place, fish market, and an amazing indian sweet shop. Location for us is on point, like I said we live right around the corner, The restaurant is on the smaller side but it was decorated nicely(loved the pretty purple napkins) and there is an adorable fountain outside with an ornate bench. A great spot for a bite to eat with friends or on a date. We will 100% be coming back here for more dinners and I want to come back for lunch during the week to take advantage of the lunch specials.

The dipping sauce that came with the fish cake was nice. Every other dish was average or below average. Good thing is they do any protein(vegetarian or meat) for almost all dishes. The red curry fried rice had a weird smell. The Thai mule was nice, had a big glass.

Good food and friendly service :) Waitress for very happy to bring in more spice; food is really spicy and flavorful. Tried pineapple fried rice(I believe this is one of the best pineapple fired rice served). Fried duck soup was excellent too. Satisfied for the money, quantity, and quality of food served.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the silicon valley, I eat there almost every week. The food is pretty cheap but very good also you can make every dish vegetarian. My favorite dishes there are the soups and the Mango Red Curry, the sticky rice with mago is very good too but they don’t always have it. WARNING: Be careful with the spicy levels, hot it is going to very very hot, medium there is equivalent to hot on other restaurants. I suggest you ask for spicy level 2 or 3 and ask for some fresh chili, the same one they put on the food, not the chili tray.

We arrived for an early dinner on a Saturday, they immediately greeted and proceeded to sit us. Poured us ice cold water which was great considering the heat weave we’ve had. Our server was prompt in taking our order and brought it to us in a timely matter. Food was delicious, ingredients felt fresh with great temperature, presentation and flavors. We ordered 1 appetizer: vegetable imperial rolls, they are served with a delicious plum sauce. We ordered 2 entrees: shrimp pad Thai and sweet and sour chicken. We also ordered 2 sides of steamed rice. All this for a family of 4 was the perfect portion. Towards the end of our meal I ordered hot jasmine tea, it was hot for sure but didn’t need to add sweetener as it was so natural tasting. We will definitely be coming back!

After my first trip to Thailand back in 2013, this was a real reminder of how awesome that trip was because the food was amazing. Pretty authentic I admit. Owner(I assume it was the owner) was helpful, very personable. Food was great and the bill for 2 with appetizers was under $ 40(no alcohol). I’d love to ramble on and say more but to be honest, we came down late, saw this place next to the Fish Market and decided to try it(Fish Market looked great too it just had a 20 minute wait). Overall, I’m a fan. Great food, casual, not too loud, easy parking and fairly priced. What else do you want for a good dining experience?

3.5 Stars This restaurant is nestled within the Fish Market plaza. Their Décor is cozy, but food is average for Thai Restaurants. Green Curry with Fish tastes good. We got mild and it is as mild as we like it(because mild can be spicy in some Thai Restaurants). If you don’t like oily, you probably won’t like the eggplants in this dish. Pad Thai is sort of average. It is a bit sweet and sour. The fish sauce is a bit pungent. Their pork tastes/smells porky.(Note to self: not to get pork here again.) Mango Sticky Rice is average. The mango is slightly sweetened with a more orange tint than natural. Some bits of rice is a little dry and the rice portion(unlike the pictures posted) is less than other places. The one at Dusita Thai is much better. Service is attentive. I would come again because I live close by.

Food isn’t good. The price is low, so is the quality and quantity as well. I have visited the restaurant 2 times and ordered online once. The dine ins were ok, but not too great. But the worst happened when I ordered online through OrderAhead. I ordered their main dish ‘Spicy’, but it was nothing more than a red curry. Pad kee mao was very less in quantity. It was online order or else I would have returned the food. Not going back to this restaurant in future.

This was actually only my second time trying thai food after a horrendous first experience several years ago. However, as a food lover, I simply can’t stand myself claiming to hate a cuisine, so I convinced myself to go to this restaurant and give it another shot. Never knock a food until you’ve had it twice! Boy, was that a great decision! I went with the penang curry with tofu and it was delicious at a medium spice level. It was so creamy and full of flavor that I almost ate my entire bowl full in one setting! I also sampled my friends pad thai and it was also very tasty– yet another thing I’ll have to go back for! To finish, we split a plate of mango sticky rice. I regret this wholeheartedly because I should’ve gotten a plate of it just for myself! Their tea is also great, maybe a bit too much sugar but what do you expect from thai tea? I tend to remain oblivious to the attitudes of servers unless theyre noticeably awful or fantastic, and at Thai Chili, it’s definitely the latter! All the servers were wonderful and accommodating, maintaining genuine smiles throughout my meal which is always much appreciated!
