So, I have been known to stumble over here after enjoying a few margaritas at El Chaparral for a 30 minute foot massage for $ 15. Those make me so happy. They USED to have brochures with treatment descriptions, but don’t seem to anymore. When I brought a group here for a bacheloreet party it got a little messy. Between the language barrier and available staff, there was a bit of waiting, which ended up turning out ok, but it was a little crazy. My massage was a little bit more«therapeutic» than I anticipated. I definitely prefer the more relaxing massage, but this was rough. I guess that works for some people, and I’m sure it was helpful, but not quite peaceful.

Stop! Lily no longer works at this place, nor does Sophia, and it’s just not the same. Sophia was the only one who really understood english and was able to get across the massage therapist. So, if anyone knows of a good cheap place, let me know!

I was once this spa’s best customer, but the service has diminished so much. I can only hope that they can turn it around. I went for a very much needed massage today. The therapist left the door open twice while I was on the table, took two phone calls and then insisted on a tip! I emailed them to let them know how appalled I was. Unfortunately, this three year client won’t be back.

We went here for my bachelorette party! There was a big group of us, so I know accommodating everybody was a bit confusing, but since I was the only one getting a facial, I went in early and without any trouble. The facial was not the extractions-and-scrubbing kind, which is what I was expecting. It was more of a moisturize-and-massage kind of thing, which was very relaxing, but too expensive($ 50). I wish there had been some light music playing in the dimmed room, like some spas have. One of my main complaints here is the language barrier. They do not have a printed brochure, so I had no idea what I was going to end up paying, or if I could have gotten a different service. While I waited for my girlfriends to get out, I saw three customers come in to inquire about services, and it was embarrassing to see them get frustrated that they couldn’t get answers to their questions. Maybe we missed the normal receptionist, I’m not sure. I will probably look around for somewhere else on my own — but I still had a blast for my party times!
