So-Cal RV Rentals

Jeff is a real thief. Not only did he steal our 3K cash deposit, he also charged money to the insurance company. He plays all nice until it’s time to get back to you. He is a true thief… a con artist. Most likely, he operates illegally (we will find out soon). He called the insurance company and tried to fix everything that was wrong with his poorly maintained vehicle… he said he would give us our deposit back once he got paid… well, he got paid… and he still kept the money. Big time thief!!!

PLEASE BE WARNED… this company does not maintain their vehicles in good condition. They also refuse to refund any monies or security deposits. They do not give any explanations as to why they refuse to refund security deposits. Their vehicles are nothing like they are described on their website or as described in the contracts.
If there was a rating that allowed zero stars I would give it to this company.
My short story is that we rented a vehicle in good faith from this company and found it to be in a state of disrepair with various parts and equipment removed by the company. We suffered a major tire blowout just 80 miles into our journey & the vehicle suffered damage to the powerlines and propane line. The vehicle was rendered completely unsafe for driving and we had to leave it at a hotel close by. We had the vehicle for less than 24hrs yet the owner of the company is now refusing to offer any kind of refund or even return our $ 1000 security deposit. No explanation has been offered as to why.
He has been abusive and belligerent and I firmly believe that he will be making a fraudulent claim against my insurance. Oh, by the way he does not offer any kind of insurance waiver that any respectable vehicle rental company would offer. There have now been several people that have come forward with similar experiences so it is my firm belief that this is normal practice for this awful company.
