Summerhill Equestrian Center

I have boarded at Summerhill Equestrian for 15 or 16 years. I drive all the way from Simi Valley (where there many facilities close to my home) because Summerhill is the best facility a horse owner could want for horse and rider. From the feedings three times a day, to the optional «day care» to blanketing, supplements, best farrier (on premises), dental and shot clinics it can’t be beat! Clean, clean clean… and such happy horses! Lessons are available for Hunter, Dressage and pleasure. Turnout, large pens, hot water for baths, I could go on forever. The staff is caring and watches and cares for the horses like they are their own. Trails for those who still enjoy a beautiful trail ride in a quiet canyon. If you cannot be out to see your horse every day, no worries. He/​she will be taken care of in a 5 star manner.

I’ve been boarding at Summerhill for over 10 years now and the place is the best in the SCV! The price of board is excellent and the care for horses and riders is also the best! I’ve had a couple of horses boarded there, and someone is always on property. I can rely on the staff /​trainers to let me know if something is wrong with my horse right away. They have access to trainers, accupuncture vets, farriers, etc. Wonderful place that is quiet, yet busy enough that you won’t be lonley!

This is the best facility in the Valley. I compare it to the LA Equestrian Center. The staff is top notch. Attention to your horse is taken seriously at Summerhill. I know that if I cant get out to see my horses for a week, I can count on the staff to know if somthing is wrong with one of them and contact me asap to get me out there. If I couldnt get out to take care of a sick or injured horse I know that the staff is willing and more than able to take care of it on my behalf. After all my horses health and safety is number one.
