So I came to this place off of recommendation with my husband and my two year old daughter. We placed an order for fish tacos and a burrito and a side of rice. As we were waiting we noticed that they do not put there condiments like salsa on ice like the other taco places and it looked spoiled. We also noticed that the cook used his bare hands to grab the meat he was cooking and would rub his runny nose with his arm. Can any one say unsanitary!. The service here was absolutely horrible. Waiting half an hour I asked the cashier what was taking long so long for my order and she replied that they were taking care of phone orders first. So we waited for our order and when two customers who came in separate times after us got their orders before us we were mad. We didn’t understand why people who ordered after us got their food with in 5 minutes. it didn’t make sense. My husband is white and I am Asian and everyone in that restaurant was Hispanic. We felt completely discriminated against because we were not Hispanic. We confronted the cashier and demanded our money back. When the cook heard of the commotion he said that he would start cooking our food now. WTF was he doing the last 45 minutes! Don’t come here unless you want food poisoning and horrible discriminate customer service!

First off this place is a cash only establishment. Come prepared or you’ll have to pay the ATM price. The cashier had an attitude, and bad customer service, she took a phone order while we were ordering. I ordered their horchata which wasn’t even house made, you could clearly tell it was from a soda dispenser. It took 30+ minutes to receive 8 tacos and a chile rellano. With only one person ordering before us, and the phone order. After the wait the cook decided to inform us he no longer had one of the requested meats so we were forced to get something different. Very bad experience, I would prefer to drive to LA for some authentic Mexican food, or even to Las Delicias for a better experience.

Great chef! Turned me on to pineapple in my El Pastor burrito. It was awesome. The El Pastor is fantastic. My girls had enchiladas with polo, combo plate. Rice was good, not greasy or salty like some places. My boys had carnitas burritos. The carnitas was the real deal, flavorful and not greasy. The place is 100 percent authentic. Food choices affordable and delicious. Potions were more than fair. If you like Chipotle, don’t go here, if you like good Mexi, cooked by Mexicans and served by Mexicans, this place is killer.

Went here for the first time last night. Food was fair to good. My chicken burrito was good sauce had good flavor. My daughter had carne assada and she said it was ok, not much flavor. Carnitas tacos were really good. Music was very loud, good for take out. Prices fair.

Ordered a carne asada burrito. Very flavorful and tasty. They’re open early, so I can go there before class. Chips are rather flavorless. Cash only. ATM on site, but it will cost you a couple bucks to use plus a fee from your bank. Reasonably priced. Nice patio outside. Salsa bar. Took my food to go. Good overall. Very close to my house. Will return!

Great tacos they are open late. Have Taco choices of asada, chicken, lengua, and more. They let you build your own with onion, cilantro, lime and green salsas. People are super friendly. Great for being drunk

This place is great for late night Mexican food. The food is authentic and has taste and a soul to it. This is not your white canned Mexican food from a fast food. The prices are great and service is good. For people that are complaining about service… leave your ego at the door and you should be just fine!

This place is a tiny whole in the wall. Don’t expect good service. Today I stop by for tacos because they are really good. There menu selection is small. Be warned CASHONLY!!! When I was ordering my food the cashier walked away to clean a table which was really rude since she was taking order. So after waiting for 10 mins she comes up to our table & asked what we ordered??? About 5 more mins go by & she brings the wrong order to our table. She looks at our receipt & walks away. Then she finally brings our tacos. The places was not busy at all. Yet she messed up our order lol. Then they had the music really loud to the point you couldn’t even talk. The funny part it would turn off on its on & then start again. It got worst when they put on the soccer game. We managed to eat our food & use sign language to communicate. Jk. Well back to why we stopped. They have really good tacos. I love the al pastor, chorizo & carnitas tacos. The asada is okay too. I stop by every time I am in the area. Remember, Cash Only!!!

Don’t come here unless all u want are tacos or burritos! Their full length menu of everything a Mexican restaurant should serve is limited to just those 2 things. I’ve kept coming back in hopes to catch them serving something else but nope. Every single time it’s just Burrriitooos & tacooos –_– Oh & they only accept cash fyi

This place used to be a lot better but the last few visits have been terrible. They raised the prices for their tacos and their drinks. I get times are tough but you don’t raise your prices and lower your quality. The carne asada seems like its boiled and not grilled. All the condiments sit out for hours and you can tell. They even charge for refills now!!! $.82!!! I asked the lady when they changed the refill policy and she gave me tons of attitude. My friends and I used to come in on the weekends all the time and easily eat 50+ tacos(there were 6 – 8 of us) While their prices are a deterrent it’s their terrible quality and customer service that have pushed me away. I won’t be eating here again.

I’ve been waiting to write my review until I can go earlier in the day and try something other than the tacos(after 9 or so, tacos are all you can order). Well, I’ve lived here six months and I’ve never gone early enough so I might as well give in and write my review. Late night tacos for a buck, are you kidding me? The meat is great(from the usual to lengua and cabeza) by itself but I load up at the yummy salsa/condiment bar(I’ve been known to pack a little extra when I order to go so I can use the roasted jalapeños when making a breakfast burrito the next morning). They have the usual fountain sodas but they also have Mexican sodas like Jarritos off to the left of the cashier. Yeah, they usually have loud music or TV shows playing but it’s a funky late-nite taqueria! I’d be disappointed if they weren’t blasting Mexican music. Oh, as for the complaint about nobody speaking english: I’ve been coming here for six months and I’ve never encountered a cashier who couldn’t take my order in english. Go there some night and have some tacos. They’re great.

OMG… I LOVETHISPLACE!!! Cheap tacos($ 1 each!!!) that are ridiculously tasty! They have three types of salsa and they were amazing! Pros: –Cheap Tacos –Tasty –Al Pastor is SUPER fresh –Salsa is YUMMY –You can see them making your food! Cons: –Crappy Parking(i.e. small parking spots) –Shady people… –Tacos are definitely on the small side I would most definitely come back and I really really actually can’t wait to come back!

Mexicans as a culture can be pretty flexible with the details. The sign says«No alcoholic beverage to be consumed on this property» but I watch the cashier walk to the liquor store next door and bring a 6 pack to his friends on the patio. The salsa bar is set up with a sneeze shield but the glass on both sides has been broken or taken out. Look out for anything that doesn’t resemble onion, cilantro or tomatoes! That and the music is playing WAY too loud and the place is open later than almost anything else around. This place is thoroughly Mexican! You can find better food but if you want to get a look at Mexican culture this place offers an honest glimpse.
