My mother and I had great service. Loved their summer splash(lemon) tea that was on special. Our meals were great too, we had a salad and pesto sandwich. Both were big enough to share! Only down that we saw were the macaroons were $ 1 each and they were half this size of the ones we’ve seen before. It didn’t change our experience though, they were still good. The outside patio is beautiful and a nice little spot away from the kids inside playing.

This place is a little gem nestled in the heart of Santa Clarita. It has great food, great service along with a great beer, tea and wine selection. If you have kids there is a great play area just for them. The Teapot Café has become my new go to restaurant.

The concept of this restaurant is awesome, the food is nothing to talk about. For the price I would expect it to taste a bit better. I also wish the kids play area had carpet throughout it but all in all its a nice place to take the kiddos to.

Concept is so awesome but holy hell is the food bad. If they expect to survive they’re going to need to up their meal game… This place could be so amazing if that one element were better. After an extremely less Than mediocre breakfast we ran through the drive through at Telly’s just to get the taste out of our mouths. But our toddler loved the play area so… maybe we’ll come back for happy hour. But I’m not ordering any snacks.

Great concept and setup. The play area is for younger children from 2 to maybe 7, and could probably do better by having some activities or games for older kids. The food wasn’t bad at all. Good selection of breakfast and lunch items, even craft beers and some wines. We had the M&M pancake special and the kids had an adult sized hamburger since there was no kid-sized one. The mango chai tea was quite good as was the selection of some hip sodas — no Coke or Pepsi here. Overall will definitely be back to try some other food items. The only downside really is the location as it’s far back within Saugus. Seems like the place would do better near the Valencia Mall.

I placed an order for pick up. I ordered a kids Mac and cheese balls as well as a chicken, mushroom and basil pasta. I choose these things off the menu they have posted on their Facebook page. Surprisingly the order was $ 4 more then I expected. Once I got home I realized I received the wrong pasta. When I called back I was basically told the pasta I ordered was on their old menu and who ever took my order just assumed I meant I wanted the pasta I was given. The person on the phone made no effort to correct the mistake by asking if I would like to return the pasta for something else or get a refund. So basically they messed up and told me too bad. Horrible customer service!!! The Mac and cheese balls are the only reason they received 1 star, they were delicious. Whatever pasta they decided to give me was bland and not what I wanted at all. Tip: Update your menu on Facebook, don’t assume, try and correct a mistakes made by the staff

Went here for the first time yesterday. The place was very roomy and seating was good. The menu was surprisingly extensive. They offered a variety from my picky 6 year old to my vegan daughter. I had the chicken pesto Pizza. It was very good. The fries that came with the veggie burger was amazing. I had a bite of the veggie burger and it was also very good. What struck me the most is the atmosphere of the place. There were a few parents around and kids were running around in the play area. I got the vibe that this is a great place for families to meet and have a relaxing time while kids are entertained in the play area. If anything else, I like the way the place felt, very comfy and relaxing.

My brother and I had lunch at this cute new place. Kind of a weird setting for two dudes. The food was good and the prices were okay. Great beer on tap for $ 3.50 during happy hour. There is a sectioned-off play area inside the restaurant where kids run around and scream. The pendant lights in the restroom offered very even lighting with consistent color temperature.

Men! I had my misgivings about going to a tea house for dinner when my wife mentioned that she wanted to go here. «i’m hungry» I said, «tea and crumpets aren’t going to cut it woman!» However, this place has a good selection of dinner items. The pizza is great, they have burgers, and most importantly they have locally made beer on tap. Service is great too. Another bonus is the play area for kids.

TL;DR — The cashier lady blabbed my ear off about her period and how much more it hurt to get her nipple piercings when she was on her period. Yes, this is true and not made up. Are you currently gagging over this? Cause I did, and still am. The entire place reminds me of a hospital cafeteria with a children’s play center. Bland interior, and EXTREMELY tart lemonade. No exaggeration. I should of recorded the entire thing. *UPDATE*: The business must be trying to continuously flag this review because I keep getting emails about it. Don’t hire staff that talk conversation that’s inappropriate with a customer. Plain and simple. I have the right to post about my experience.

I have to agree with many of the reviewers. The menu was confusing. I had a hard time finding something that appealed to me. The service was very bad. It was almost impossible to get my drink. Had to ask more than once and they seemed to have difficulty even getting it done at that point. Wait time was way too long. Ambience reminded me of eating at a day care center. The food was unimpressive at best. I feel terrible giving them a review like this because I was hopeful that this would be a spot that would last in our nieghborhood. But unless they rethink their concept and menu, I am afraid they won’t last very long. It is very hard to get a customer to come back if the first experience isn’t memorable much less if it is bad. I’m sorry.

I had wanted to try this place since it opened earlier this year and finally did. Sadly it will be the first and last visit. I feel bad for seeming harsh, but I’m being completely honest. Stopped by for breakfast and I ordered the«Sausage Burrito» which was not only the oily-est burrito I have ever seen, it tasted awful. Didn’t eat anything beyond the first bite. I ordered it with«no onions» but apparently that translates into no salsa period as despite the fact I requested their spicy of the two options, I got nothing. My husband ordered the«Breakfast Burrito» which was to include a Guacamole Ranch sauce and his was dry as well. Not to mention my husband’s was just as greasy, makes the stomach turn a bit, not in the good way.

This place opened recently in our neighborhood, and we visited soon after its soft opening. Savory breakfast selections were limited; their breakfast burritos were okay. Tea selection is amazing. Dining area at the time was sparse, although the play area for(very) little ones is inspired. My kids are too old to appreciate at 11 and 8, but then again if they can’t sit quietly at a restaurant at that age I’m the one that’s doing something wrong! I think staff was still ironing out some of their service procedures, so the food took awhile. Pricey meal for counter-service(over $ 50 for four), but I get it considering they use fresh ingredients and serve good tea. I haven’t returned yet but will update when I do.

Love this place! My husband and I work from home throughout the week and the twins stay with us. Sometime we need to do a little work and give the girls a chance to play and get some much needed energy out. This place allows for that! There is a lady here to play with the kids while you eat/work. There are games and kid friendly seating. It’s fairly new so everything is new and clean and awesome. The food is very yummy as well. The portions are generous and overall very tasty. The only drawback is the location. It’s kinda far from the center of town. But happy hour makes up for the drive.

I went to the restaurant during summer the first week they opened. There were some problems with service and the menu and I rationalized the problems with staff not knowing the product and slow service to the newness. I gave teapot café another chance. My mistake. So many things went wrong. My wife ordered a Cobb salad, I ordered the chicken mushroom penne. We placed our order at 4:24, the restaurant is empty. At 4:50 we still have not gotten our meal. I went back to the lady who took our order. She was sweet, and said something about«they are trying to find bacon» for the Cobb salad. I asked her if my meal was ready, she pulled a plate from under a heat lamp. The food was barely warm. I was very hungry so I ate the meal. The food had been sitting for some time and tasted rubbery. One of the staff noticed my wife wasn’t eating. When she mentioned she ordered a Cobb salad. He said, ‘oh the salad, they are making the hard boiled eggs“ Finally, at 5:10 her salad was brought to the table. The owner also brought a coupon for a free drink and entre which is kind. But really 45 minutes for a salad! I want their concept to work. But I am done with teapot café.

I love coming to Teapot Café for a cup of tea. But Teapot Café is much more than tea, with a large dining area and kids play area and a full menu. This place works like this: order at the counter, take your number, and they’ll call out your number to pick up your drink at the other end of the counter and bring your food to your table. Kind of a strange system if you ask me, as my friend who just ordered a tea was given a table stand number but waited around by the counter to receive her tea and then give back her number. But I have also ordered just a tea a few times, the first time I was given a number and they brought it out to the table for me and the last few times I was told a number(and given nothing, but it might be on the receipt, I can’t remember) and was told to pick it up at the counter. And while my friend only waited a few minutes for her tea, I have sat around and waited 20 minutes for a tea to go. It was also a hot tea and I had asked for an iced tea, no biggie, but I’ve heard a few other incorrect order stories from others as well. Inconsistency seems to be the one constant at this place. The kid’s play area is pretty neat, various toys and coloring accouterments available to the kids. They staff an employee in the play area so you can leave them there and enjoy your meal while they are being watched, which I think is pretty cool. The décor and seating is cute, with booths, tables, couches, and cushions to sit on as you sip your tea. Mini chandeliers and teapots are everywhere! The menu has mostly salads, burgers, and pastas, a strange combo for tea in my humble opinion, but I’ve heard that it’s tasty. They recently began an all day breakfast menu and I loved their french toast for $ 5.99 with their Serenitea. They also sell some dessert goodies at the front counter. I’ve liked every different tea I’ve tried here, iced and hot. Their tea menu isn’t as extensive as Tea Garden’s, but there’s still a good mix of various flavors to try. They also sell boba tea here. They just opened, and they’ve obviously got some bugs to work out. I think it’s a bit strange how they name themselves Teapot Café, but don’t really sell anything that pairs well with tea. However I am always looking for places nearby that sell teas other than the few that Starbucks offers, and I keep coming back!

Just opened so here is a review that hope the owners will appreciate. Their idea has so much potential but the venue has a room to grow. It can be a good birthday venue place. I hope they make the walls more beautiful like maybe have pictires of child hood favorites like fairies, princesses, unicorns and more. Went there to meet a potential babysitter for my seven year old, we ordered the veggie wrap and the mango dessert. The taste was not as delicious as I hoped but the presentation really looks clean. They have cabinet where they place utensils and condiments. Nice touch. They have a playpen for kids. I will bring my kiddo here this weekend and see what she thinks about it. Lots of toys. There is also a meeting area with comfy couches. Hope they keep it there. It made the place a feel at home ambiance. They should make a function room for tea parties for birthdays. that would be a nice.

Schoolteacher and I came here one Saturday morning for breakfast. They had JUST opened up a few days before. We parked nearby and walked into the place, taking a moment to move a wayward ‘congratulations’ balloon out of the way of the door. We approached the counter, and looked at the menu for a moment before ordering. We went with a four cup ‘small’ pot of english breakfast tea, a breakfast burrito, and Schoolteacher orders the Chicken Salad. We walked over to a nearby table, and put the number in the number holder thingy. We then discussed our day’s agenda. Before too long our tea was brought over to us with some big cups. Tea girl pointed out the creamers and sugars were on the counter behind us. I poured, emptying the entire lil pot into half of each of the big cups. I guess it’s four smaller cups, or half-filled two bigger cups. I then stood up to get the creamers and sugars. Looking around, wow, that counter way over there? Okay. So I strode halfway across the place to pick up a handful of creamers and sugar packets. Meanwhile, just beyond the counter of creamers, was a play area of screaming, yet employee supervised kids. To the left of the counter of creamers, is another big space of more tables, and just beyond that, some roaring construction equipment outside. Hrm. Noisy place. I stuffed some sugar packets in my pockets and did my best to pick up some creamers in my cupped hands. Maybe a collection of lil bowls or something would be helpful here. Just a suggestion. Looking around, the place is pretty big. Huge room here. They’ve got some chandeliers hanging, lots of blank white walls, and even some assembled ikea shelves sprinkled about the area. There’s nothing actually in the shelves at this point. Mind you they’ve been open a day or so. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. I’m sure they’re still decorating. I’d bet even by now they’ve got stuff on the walls and stuff on the shelves. I get back to our section of restaurant, and there’s food on the table. I take a photo and we dig in. Schoolteacher looks up after a bit and wonders aloud, «I ordered a chicken salad, right? Why is there no chicken in the chicken salad?» I flag down a server, and let her know. I also ask her if we can get our teapot refilled. Server smiles, takes the pot and goes back through the kitchen doors to ask about the chicken. Server comes back with a re-full pot of tea, and a plate of grilled chicken for the chicken-less chicken salad. Over the period of the meal I had the pot re-filled up twice with hot water. I got everything I could out of the tea leaves. So they’re quick to solve any issues that might arise. I liked that. For right now, I’m going to give the ‘better tea place’ award to Tea Elle over by IHop on Bouquet. While this place has definite potential, and absolutely dwarfs that place in floorspace, that place knows where they are. They’re all fully decorated, and cutesy… but it’s pretty cramped and tiny over there. I know I’ll be back to Teapot in the future to check in. With luck they’ll have all their construction done, be completely decorated up, and know who & where they are.

Teapot Café is so cute! Friendly atmosphere. Family friendly. The food is delicious. I had the breakfast burrito. So yummy! Try the watermelon lemonade. Very refreshing. Didn’t try the teas, but I will next time! My daughter had the kids spaghetti. She loved it. The food presentations were very upscale too. My daughter, age 3, loved the play area. I was able to hang out in the restaurant, relax, while she played and had supervised fun by an employee – who was so sweet. I’m really happy that Saugus has a restaurant like this now.
