Christine is awesome and made me feel comfortable not self conscious! It is nice to be in an environment about inner healing. I will be making this a regular weekly routine.

I just took my first class at Third Eye Moon yoga today. it was the Wednesday class with Christine Gump starting at 9:30 with conscious breathing and then 10 to 11 for chakra repair thru yoga… All I can say is Christine is a breath of fresh air and I feel amazing! I cannot wait to go again next Wednesday! The classes are all about opening your awareness, getting in touch with yourself, connecting to the universe… it was very feminine and I felt very girl power by the end of it. Oh and we blasted our abs! lol. Loved the studio, beautiful décor and I bought an adorable succulent in a branch. I’m basically in love with the place.

Happy Monday! Came into this studio because I felt I needed something to get my week going and I’m so glad I did. Having been open for about a month now it is located in a strip mall among health and wellness clinics and even across a birthing center. Not easily seen off of Lyons/Peachland as the studio is deep inside the complex. I heard of this new location through a friend and decided to check it out over the weekend but they are closed Saturdays. The studios logo is the sacred geometry of Archangel Metatron’s cube. I wear this symbol as a pendant so it was NOCOINCIDENCE I was compelled to come here at the 9:30am class. Energy I needed was received and definitely flowed through me as I also let go of things that were weighing me down. This was the very first weekday morning class as typically Leslie the owner holds evening classes. I ended up being the only one who came in and it was such a blessing to have a semi private session. Joe also took the class with me and it was an intimate kundalini and meditation class. Leslie comes from the lineage of Golden Bridge Yoga and incorporates music during practice. I enjoyed chanting and singing along to familiar Kirtan artists. The treat was the gong shower at the end that just melted the mind and body and took practice into a deeper place. If you’re looking for a kundalini practice come check out this studio. It is a very warm place, nicely decorated and the yummy tulsi tea caps off the class. Mats and blankets are provided but you can bring your own. There are also crystals available for purchase. Kundalini Yoga is a physical and meditative practice that combines pranayama breath, postures and the chanting of mantras. Holding mula banda(root lock) and breathe of fire during movements are greatly beneficial. It’s a very clearing, opening and relaxing discipline and a great way to center ones self as well as detox both body and mind.

This was my first kundalini yoga experience. I recommend to go in with a mind that is open and a heart that’s ready for healing. I left feeling energized and reconnected with my inner self. The owner, Lesley, has a fun upbeat personality but is still a very connected and knowledgable yogi and is a supportive person by nature. This unique and loving space is one that is sure to provide everything that the«typical» yoga studio does not. Kundalini yoga wouldn’t be a replacement to your workout type yoga classes(as its is not one where you are doing flows, or holding many poses) but is a great addition to your practice as I feel that it helps to deepen the connection to your inner self, to create a oneness within ourselves, the world we live in and the higher power in which you believe. The class focused on breath and movements which I believe help you to meditate in a more connected way as well as will help you stay connected to that breath in the future while practicing which ever type yoga you normally take part in.
