I used to shop at Body Options when they were located at Valley Fair way back in the day. I considered their clothes good quality for the price. I also appreciated that they gave a professional discount to those in the fitness industry(after all these clothes are our work clothes!). They’ve since disappeared from Valley Fair and I was very pleasantly surprised to see them at the Pacific Garden Mall. It turns out that there’s a new owner — Kyoko Mundell. She’s a former fitness professional and has stocked her store with traditional and trendy casual and workout clothing styles. Prices are reasonable and Kyoko helped me choose some really cute outfits that will have me styling while training my clients. Sorry to lean of your experience, Vicky T. Kyoko must have read your review and she must have done away with those teenagers and replaced them with people that provide better level of customer service. I’ll definitely be back when I’m shopping in Santa Cruz.

Dear owner of Body Options– I was a loyal customer who came in about once a month or so to check out the yoga pants, t shirts and cute dresses. I have shopped here since 1999 my frosh year at UC Santa Cruz. Not anymore, I will be going to other locations. Please train your teenage staff to greet the customers and help them out– INSTEADOFTEXTINGONTHEIRCELLPHONES. Today I went in around 12:00 looking for some Yoga pants and was not acknowledged, greeted or asked if I needed any help. Two more customers came in and had the same fate. They walked out after looking at the first racks for about 30 seconds on the front right side. I finally said«Hi how are you today?» and the girl quickly looked up, said fine thank you and WENTRIGHTBACKTOTEXTING. WTF is that about? In past years I have received nothing but great customer service and when I tried things on they would totally check in etc. I had some yoga pants in hand and was about to ask for a room and yep still texting. I put the yoga pants back on the shelf and walked out. I will be going else where. I did not want to «interrupt» the sales girl and her intense«conversation»… I ended up going all the way to Target in Watsonville… and received better customer service than this shop. which is a disappointment because I like to shop in my local community.
