This mom and pop paper and more supply store is a must go to. Prices way under Staples or Office Max and they actually HAVE the inventory. Megan was superior in her wedding invitation knowledge and helped us select what we needed with zero pressure or judgement. Don’t bother with Costo, online ordering or some corporate invitation store. The employees at Staples and Office Max are morons compared to the seasoned experts at Darco. Seriously.

I needed a special paper, but only 50 sheets. I got super service despite being a small customer. They talked me thru my options, and gave me some samples to try, no strings attached. I was very pleased, and recommend them.

I was in here today looking for specialty paper for my sister’s wedding invitations and the employee who assisted me and shared great knowledge and had a very personable yet profession demeanor.

Darco is my «go-to» source for most of my office supply needs, and for printing my office forms. They are a local, family-run, small business, and they welcome small run print jobs which some larger printing companies don’t invite. I especially love their inexpensive, colorful«scratch» pads, which they make themselves. I keep some at home as well as at work, and use them daily. Every time I walk into Darco, I’m greeted with a smile. I’m happy to support this small local business, and I recommend them frequently. Thank you, Darco!

I’m reviewing there printing service. I first gave them a full sheet business card lay up, which they couldn’t use. They asked for single up business card, which I sent to them but they said the size was not right. Its never been such an inconvenience getting business cards printed before. I ended up going someplace else to print the business card. Ironically they could use the single up layout I had. Darco’s cost was more and turn around time longer than any other place in town. I guess they don’t need local clients, because I know I’m not going back and not suggesting their printing service to anyone I know.

I had a project to make for my disabled friend. I had the job on a flash drive on Microsoft Word. It was 3 colored bars requiring 1(one) piece of white paper. One blue line, one purple line and one red line. That’s it. One copy with three colors cost $ 5(out the door). I guess it would have not been so bad, but I told the lady working there that I had just moved here, and I was desperate to deliver the printed sheet to my disabled friend in the hopes that it might help him perform better at his place of work. I asked her if she knew of any place else where I could get this done for less than $ 5. She said no. I let her know that I was extremely disappointed to be charged 5 dollars for 1 color copy. She told me that 3.50 was for the set-up fee and 1.50 for the copy. I said I would like to pay 1.50 since all she had to do was plug in my flash drive and print 1 copy. She said no. 1 minute later I was out the door with a $ 5 hole burning in my head. I felt cheated. Well Darco, since you said NO to me, I say NO to you. I will never shop at your store again. I will tell my story to anyone and tell them to STAYAWAY!

Darco is THE place to go when you have a need for envelopes or paper. They are the best for the basic office supplies and their service is super friendly. We have had printing done through them as well. Very efficient and great prices.

If you only need a small quantity of a special paper or envelopes, this is the place to go. The staff is very helpful, and the prices are very fair.

Darco has everything! Pens, paper, envelopes, staples, rubber bands, fax service. copy service… they even sell stamps!!! It is not glitzy by any means, but it is very well stocked. Forget driving across town to staples, and don’t waste your time pretending Rite Aid or Longs will do just fine. Darco is located on the side street right across from Whole Foods. They are not open on the weekends. See photos to experience how much they really do have.

I love darco! I came here back in 2005 to get my first business cards printed. They directed me to a great guy(real color in santa cruz) that makes camera –ready copies(yes, they are old school) and made my beautiful cards. They have a great knoweledge of paper and good ideas and are super helpful. Sadly, I now do full color photo mailers so I needed to go elsewhere for that, but they still do my cards and brochures. They are the only place I can find my trademark cream colored linen paper. I am on my way over there right now, though to get some quality colored paper for sale signs. Oooh — just called them and they don’t have any. Hmmm. Still love them!

It’s basically a print shop with a small but well-stocked paper and stationery store glued to the front. What I will say is that their selection of specialty and colored office and paper by the ream is as good as any in town, and maybe better. I’m reviewing Darco as a paper store, because I’ve never had anything printed here. But because Darco is an actual print shop, the staff is equal to any questions that you have about paper. They know it well. Customer service is probably the best reason to come here. My main reason for going to Darco is the envelopes: they stock small packs of standard correspondence envelopes in odd colors: bright yellow, bright blue, etc. Take it from me: send somebody a letter in a bright yellow envelope, and they open it! Aside from all that, Darco is a quirky, old-fashioned paper store on a quirky little street behind the abandoned Albertson’s on the East Side, and it’s just fun to drop in and take a look around. Short hours, though; M-F, closed by 5.(Edit: now, 5:30. Their one concession to modern times.)
